I. Cng ngh sinh hcn nay c rt nhiu nh ngha v cch din t khc nhau v cng ngh sinh hc ty theo tng tc gi v t chc. Tuy nhin, cng ngh sinh hc (biotechnology) c th c nh ngha mt cch tng qut nh sau: Cng ngh sinh hc l cc qu trnh sn xut quy m cng nghip m nhn t tham gia trc tip v quyt nh l cc t bo sng (vi sinh vt, thc vt v ng vt). Mi t bo sng ca c th sinh vt hot ng trong lnh vc sn xut ny c xem nh mt l phn ng nh. Nu cng ngh sinh hc c nh ngha theo hng trn th n khng th c tha nhn l mt lnh vc khoa hc mi. II. Tai lieu t bo Cng ngh chia

Cc cng ngh DNA ti t hp hoc dung hp t bo c khi u bi nhng nghin cu thun ty v cc kt qu cui cng c th pht trin thnh mt loi t bo mi c th sn xut sn phm vi s lng t i qui m phng th nghim. Tuy nhin, cc kt qu ni trn li rt c ngha thng mi v v th n i hi phi pht trin thnh quy trnh cng nghip vi mt cng ngh kh thi v c hiu qu kinh t. pht trin mt qu trnh sn xut quy m phng th nghim thnh mt quy trnh cng nghip ln, chng ta khng th ch n thun tng kch thc ca bnh nui cy (vessel) ln. 2. Qu trnh sinh hc xy ra vi mt tc nh th no

Nu mt qu trnh nht nh c th sn xut mt sn phm, th iu quan trng cn bit l qu trnh s xy ra vi tc nh th no. ng hc ca qu trnh s chi phi cc tc phn ng di nh hng ca cc iu kin vt l v ha hc nht nh. Chng ta cn nm vng ha ng hc (chemical kinetics) thit k ni phn ng (reactor) thch hp. Cc k thut tng t c ng dng gii quyt ng hc enzyme (enzyme kinetics) hoc ng hc t bo (cell kinetics). thit k mt h ln men hiu qu cho cc cht xc tc sinh hc hot ng, iu quan trng cn bit l tc phn ng b nh hng nh th no bi cc iu kin hot ng khng ging nhau. iu ny bao gm c nghin cu v nhit ng hc (thermodynamics), cc hin tng vn chuyn, cc tng tc sinh hc, kh nng n nh ca cc dng t bo vi sinh vt (hoc t bo ng vt v thc vt) dng lm nguyn liu sn xut... 3. H thng c hot ng v iu chnh nh th no t c hiu sut ti a s hot ng v iu chnh h thng c ti u, chng ta cn phi pht trin cc b cm bin trc tuyn (on-line sensor) chnh xc. III. Qu lieu sinh hc Tai trnh chia se

Cc ng dng cng nghip ca cc qu trnh sinh hc l s dng cc t bo sng hoc thnh phn ca chng thc hin nhng thay i vt l v ha hc. So vi cc qu trnh ha hc truyn thng, cc qu trnh sinh hc c nhng u im v nhc im nh sau: 1. Nguyn liu th ch yu ca cc qu trnh sinh hc l sinh khi (biomass) cung cp c b khung carbon ln nng lng cn cho s tng hp cc ha cht hu c. - Cng ngh DNA ti t hp. IV. nh ngha s ln menThng thng, s ln men (fermentation) c nh ngha l qu trnh sn xut ethanol hoc lactic acid t glucose (C6H12O6). - Qu trnh sn xut ethanol. II. Taing t chia Bt lieu bo

Bng cch bt ng t bo, vic thit k quy trnh n gin hn khi cc t bo c gn vi cc phn t ln hoc trn cc b mt c phn tch d dng khi dng sn phm. iu ny m bo hot ng lin tc ca h ln men khng b nguy c ra tri t bo. S bt ng cng c th cung cp cc iu kin c li cho s phn ha t bo v s truyn t thng tin gia cc t bo, bng cch y thc y sn phm c sn lng cc cht trao i th cp cao. S bt ng c th bo v t bo bng cch lm gim cc s c lin quan ti lc trt (shear forces) gy tn thng t bo. Cc phng php bt ng t bo c th c phn chia thnh bn nhm chnh c tm tt bng 2.1. 1. Gn ln b mt Cc t bo c th gn ln b mt ca mnh g nh, collagen, microcarrier, hoc cc nha tng hp trao i ion (resin). - Mt chng nm men bt k sinh trng trong nui cy dch huyn ph. Nguyn liu - 30 mL t bo dch huyn ph thuc l sinh trng bng phng php m t trong th nghim trc. - Alginate - CaCl2 - Bm nhu ng - Ni p sut - Cn ha cht 3.2. Phng thc tin hnh - Trn 0,875 g alginate, 5 mL mi trng nui cy thc vt v 25 mL nc v kh trng. - i cho 30 mL dch nui cy huyn ph ca t bo thc vt lng xung, loi b th ni.
