GEOS  provides  a  number  of  One  Button  Alerting  and  Two  Way  Communication  products  and  solutions.  All  of  which  are  designed  to  instantly  notify  of  an  incident  and  providing  highly  accurate  location  information.  Each  of  our  solutions,  including  our  very  own  Group  Safety  Response  mobile  application,  provides  instant  secure  two-­‐way  communications  in  two  separate  modes,  which  can  be  used  independently  or  together.    

One  Button  Call  For  Help  –  Incident  Notification  

Help  is  just  the  press  of  a  button  away  with  the  Group  Safety  Response  solution  powered  by  GEOS!  When  you  press  the  SOS  button  on  your  smartphone,  you  are  prompted  to  go  straight  to  911,  select  the  type  of  emergency  or  simply  do  nothing  further,  and  your  alert  is  sent  to  the  GEOS  IERCC  and  all  assigned  members  of  your  Crisis  Response  Team  (CRT).  Along  with  the  incident  notification  is  your  precise  location  so  all  responders  know  where  you  are,  INSTANTLY.  

Secure  Two-­‐Way  Communications  

As  soon  as  your  SOS  is  transmitted  your  smartphone  enters  secure  communications  mode  and  also  connects  you  into  a  secure  message  center  and  voice  communications  mode.  You  will  be  notified  that  your  alert  has  been  received  and  you  will  be  asked  if  it  is  safe  to  speak,  if  you  can  speak,  you  will  be  able  to  communicate  live  to  the  GEOS  IERCC  and  the  CRT.  If  you  do  not  feel  it  is  safe  to  speak  out  loud,  you  can  choose  to  simply  engage  the  two-­‐way  messaging  capabilities  built  into  the  application.  This  provides  piece  of  mind,  knowing  that  help  is  on  the  way.  

Broadcast  Notifications  and  Instructions  

Messages  can  be  sent  to  an  individual  alerting  device,  all  alerting  devices  or  ALL  devices  you  have  registered  in  the  GEOS  Incident  Notification  and  Response  System  (INRS).  This  provides  the  CRT,  First  Responders,  or  GEOS  to  send  messages  such  as  LOCKDOWN,  EVACUATE,  or  other  vital  instructions  to  employees  in  case  of  an  emergency.  The  system  can  also  be  configured  to  automatically  lock  doors,  limit  access  control  systems  and  even  activate  or  prioritize  CCTV  surveillance  systems  in  the  alerting  location.

Who  

Knowing  who  is  involved  in  the  incident,  who  is  reporting  it,  who  is  able  to  communicate  about  it  and  who  caused  it.  Whether  you  are  dealing  with  an  active  assailant,  a  vandal  or  other  type  of  incident,  this  information  is  crucial.  Identity  of  impacted  people  is  crucial  for  the  incident  command  team.  In  fact,  members  of  the  IC  or  CRT  can  broadcast  to  all  devices  and  instruct  all  employees  with  the  GEOS  Group  Safety  Response  application  to  press  their  button  so  their  location  and  status  is  know.  This  instantly  opens  up  communication  to  additional  sources  of  information  and  locations.  

What  

What  type  of  incident  is  occurring  and  is  it  stable  or  getting  worse?  This  information  helps  to  determine  what  type  of  resources  are  required  and  allows  the  first  responders  to  be  prepared  for  escalation  if  the  incident  isn’t  stable.  

When  

When  did  the  incident  occur,  when  was  it  reported,  when  did  responders  arrive,  when  were  communications  established  with  impacted  individuals,  when  were  instructions  broadcast  and  when  was  the  situation  brought  under  control?  GEOS  tracks  and  records  all  incident  information  for  access  by  the  CRT  and  First  Responder,  or  anyone  that  is  a  part  of  Incident  Command.  

Where  

Where  is  the  incident  occurring,  where  is  the  reporting  person,  where  are  others  that  are  being  impacted?  As  soon  as  the  SOS  button  is  pressed  on  your  smartphone,  or  satellite  device  your  current  position  is  transmitted  to  the  GEOS  IERCC  and  members  of  the  CRT.  The  system  is  designed  to  look  for  the  most  accurate  proximity  or  location  available:  GPS,  Wi-­‐Fi,  Cellular,  even  Beacons.

International  Emergency  Response  Coordination  Center  (IERCC)  

The  FEMA  certified  team  at  the  IERCC  are  just  a  push  of  a  button  away,  in  fact  with  most  satellite  phones  all  you  need  to  do  to  reach  the  IERCC  is  to  dial  911/112  and  they  will  be  there  for  you.  The  IERCC  has  time-­‐  tested  standard  operating  procedures  and  are  an  integral  part  of  our  customers  Emergency  Response  Plan  (ERP).  In  fact,  some  of  our  customers  have  us  as  an  active  part  of  their  Incident  Command  Team.  So,  whether  you  handle  incident  response  internally,  through  a  3rd  party  or  via  official  agencies,  GEOS  is  there!
