We were officially registered on 16th July, 1974 as a Charitable Society. The first home being Kota Kinabalu Home was built and officially opened on 29th January,

1983 and later the second Home in Sandakan on 8th April, 2000.

As a registered charitable society, we are regulated by the Registrar of Societies

The Society requires an annual budget of approximately RM9000.00 to support some 50 residents, 10 day care and 15 trainees [or RM12,000 per resident/ trainee] including payment for staff salary, residents’ food, clothing, amenities, administration and maintenance expenses

The Society’s audited account is transparent and available for examination any time

Apart from an annual grant from the government through the Sabah Council of Social Services, the Society is required to source RM500, 000 [or RM6,600 per resident] from the general public.

All cash donations to the Society have tax exemption status
