Erleben Sie das neue Boardinghaus in bester Leipziger Innenstadtla-ge im denkmalgeschützten Thomaskirchhof. Das Gebäudeensemble besteht aus dem Renaissancehaus, einem der ältesten Wohngebäu-de der Stadt, dem um 1900 errichteten Vorderhaus mit Blick auf die Thomaskirche und das Bachdenkmal sowie dem neu errichteten Rückgebäude auf der Gartenseite. In der Innenstadt ist kaum eine Adresse touristisch wertvoller als die um den Thomaskirchhof, um-geben von geschichtsträchtigen Gebäuden wie der Thomaskirche, dem Thomashaus und dem Bosehaus, welches das Bach-Museum beherbergt.

Experience the new boarding house in a prime Leipzig citycentre location at the listed Thomaskirchhof building. The building com-plex consists of the Renaissance house, one of the oldest dwelling houses in the city, the front building, erected around 1900, with a view of St. Thomas Church and Bach Monument, and the newly constructed rear building on the garden side. There is scarcely an area in the city centre to rival that around the Church for touristic interest. Surrounded by historic buildings such as the Church, the Thomas House and the Bose House, which houses the Bach museum.

Sie verbindet Licht und Klang miteinander und inter-pretiert so die Schaffenszeit Bachs zu einem neuen stimmungsvol-len Zusammenspiel. Moderne Klangskulpturen begegnen dem Gast als Pendelleuchte und Leselicht. Hier begrüßen die Notenbänder der Bach-Kantate „Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen“ als Wandtapete den Anreisenden. Sie schaffen einen Spannungsbogen zu der modernen Unterhaltungselektronik in den Räumen. Die Etagenfarben tauben-blau, olivgrün, himbeerrot und flieder betonen die musikalischen Konturen farbig.

A unique composition of music and design, fine materials and the simple elegance of the fittings characterise the apartments at arcona LiViNg BACH14. The philosophy “experience music” took centre stage in the design of the 52 apartments and rooms. it com-bines light and sound, thus interpreting Bach’s creative period in an atmospheric new interplay. The guest is encountered by modern sound sculptures as pendant luminaires and reading lights, is gree-ted on arrival by the score of the Bach Cantata “Jauchzet gott in allen Landen” (Praise god in All Lands) as wallpaper.

A high standard of communication is a matter of course in all the apartments, meeting the standard of comfort expected by the mo-dern traveller today.
