HELLO Planner Here
I've been working for the past 9 years as a strategic planner with a digital expertise. I enjoy finding the right insights, ideas and channels for the brands. And once I’ve found them, I also enjoy selling them to clients.
Digital skill: Social Media Strategy (Facebook, Blogs, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine)

When I’m not at work, I like to:
1. Ride my bike
2. Paint – https://ro.pinterest.com/monicacevafi/my-

• I am a 9 times Effie winner, including a Grand Effie
• I’ve done work on a wide range of clients:
And also nice
• I prefer collaboration and teamwork over hierarchy. I work well with others, including creative and account teams.
• I am naturally empathetic and intuitive, regardless of age, gender or culture.
• Needless to say, I am fluent in English, both speaking and writing (IELTS certificate)
Most proud of:*
* Not counting the work that never got produced
Problem: Even though Special Olympics was in our country for the past 14 years, very few people had heard of them. They needed support and visibility, especially this year, since they were attending the Special Olympic Games in LA.
Solution: Channel the energy of the sport fans under a
good cause. We decided to involve our most famous sports stars and ask for their donations.
Only, instead of money, we asked them to
DONATE A FAN, by posting a short video announcing the cause
and nominating other fellow sports players. More than 40 well-known local athletes loved the idea
and got involved. Case video: https://www.behance.net/gallery/31819699/Special-Olympics-Romania-Donate-a-Fan
Problem: YouTube asked us to organize an event under the famous signature – YouTube Pulse. Its purpose was to connect a C+ audience with today’s most popular content creators. Two very different worlds.
Solution: We had to use a language that marketers would
understand, presenting them with reach and a multitude of branding options. We chose 7
different YouTube content themes – cooking, comedy, make up, fashion, travel – and brought
them into focus. How: by creating artistic installations, just like in an
interactive
museum. Photos here: http://www.adhugger.net/2015/12/03/cohnandjansen-jwt-and-youtube-checked-the-pulse-of-romanian-media-market/
Problem Bucharest is not a bike friendly city. It's swarmed with cars, traffic jams and it lacks bike lanes. Partly because of this, it is the most polluted European capital.
Solution Encourage biking through useful content. We partnered with Coca Cola and designed a map of alternative cycling routes that would allowed cyclists to pedal safely using the less traveled roads, which fortunately also provided the best scenery.
Personal project
Since I’ve written more than the required 200 words, here is this pie chart that I hope will sum up the way I like to share my time and love.
consumer trends & discovering what makes people tick
human decency
what is the next social platform to boom, right after Snap Chat exploded and Twitter imploded
how will the beauty industry evolve post-feminism and post-Dove
what is the next step in cause marketing, since iconic brands seem to have returned to their core benefit (Coca Cola, Kit Kat)
others*
Random thoughts/
Things I give a shit
about:
*working on becoming a globe-trotter, finding the best cafes in Europe, binge watching on Netflix and binge shopping on Asos, not procrastinating too much - browsing through Facebook, Mashable, BuzzFeed, AdAge etc.
