HGS INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Warning: Before installation, make sure to use the CORRECT fluid type! Brake fluid or Mineral oil.

Select GBA (Gear Box Actuator)

1. Remove the cap of the reservoir.2. Connect the vacuum sucker to the

reservoir, suck out the old fluid out of the reservoir. Keep the vacuum sucker in the reservoir during the whole procedure.

3. Connect the pressure filling equipment to the bleed nipple. Open the bleed nipple and the bleed plug exactly 3/4 turn.

4. Set the pump to a pressure of 4 bars. Activate the pump.

5. Move the gear lever to the left for about 30 seconds, until the fluid reaches the reservoir, without air bubbles.

6. Move the gear lever to the right for about 30 seconds, until fluid reaches the reservoir, without air bubbles.

7. Move the gear lever slowly to the middle position.

8. Close the bleed plug and the bleed nipple, torque of 8 Nm.

9. Stop the pump, and disconnect the quick connector from the bleed nipple.

Shift GBA (Gear Box Actuator)

1. Connect the pressure filling equipment to the bleed nipple. Open the bleed nipple and the bleed plug exactly 3/4 turn.

2. Set the pump to a pressure of 4 bars. Activate the pump.

3. Move the gear lever forward for about 30 seconds, until the fluid reaches the reser-voir, without air bubbles.

4. Move the gear lever backward for about 30 seconds, until fluid reaches the reservoir, without air bubbles.

5. Move the gear lever slowly to the middle position.

6. Close the bleed plug and the bleed nipple, torque of 8 Nm.

7. Stop the pump and disconnect the quick connector from the bleed nipple.

8. Stop and disconnect the vacuum sucker.9. Check fluid level in reservoir, remove or

add fluid to be within the MIN/MAX level.10. Put the cap on the reservoir back on.11. Wipe away if there are spillage.
