LI M UMng thng tin di ng th h th 3 (3G) c trin khai nhiu nc trn th gii. Ti Vit Nam, B Thng tin v Truyn thng ang n lc chun b cp php trin khai mng 3G trong bng tn 1900-2200 MHz. Cc mng 3G i vo hot ng s l mt ng lc to ln cho s pht trin cng ngh thng tin v truyn thng nc ta, ng thi thc y nn kinh t tng tc hn na. Phn 1. TNG QUAN V H THNG THNG TIN DI NG 3G-UMTS1. Lch s pht trin ca cng ngh mng di ng.

D kin phin bn HSPA Release 8 ra mt vo nm 2009 (thm tnh nng MIMO) th tc tng ng s l 42 Mbps & 11,6 Mbps. UMTS hon ton tng thch ngc vi GSM. Mt khc, do quy m th trng ln v l cng ngh trng thnh nn WCDMA cng l mt trong nhng cng ngh c chi ph u t thp nht, em li hiu qu cao nht.Tuy nhin UMTS cng c mt s nhc im. Chuyn giao cuc gi mi ch thc hin c theo chiu t UMTS sang GSM m cha thc hin c theo chiu ngc li. Phin bn u tin CDMA2000 1x (hay IS-2000) s dng 1 cp knh v tuyn 1,25 MHz chuyn ti 128 knh lu lng, cung cp tc downlink 144 kB/s. Mc d CDMA2000 1x c cng nhn l 3G nhng nhiu ngi coi n l i din ca mng 2,5G.CDMA2000 3x v CDMA2000 EV-DV s dng 3 knh 1,25 MHz tng tc . CDMA2000 EV-DV c tc downlink ln n 3,1 Mbps v uplink l 1,8 Mbps. Tuy nhin c hai phin bn ny u khng cn c tip tc nghin cu, pht trin thng mi ho do cc nh khai thc CDMA2000 ln nht (nh Sprint Nextel v Verizon Wireless) u la chn phin bn EV-DO. Hin nay cha c mng thng mi no trin khai hai phin bn ny.CDMA2000 EV-DO li c nhiu revision khc nhau: Rev. 0, Rev. A, Rev. B, Rev. C. Tiu chun CDMA2000 EV-DO u tin c gi l Revision 0 c tc downlink ln n 2,4 Mbps v uplink l 153 kbps. CDMA2000 Rev. A c tc ln n 3,1 Mbps downlink v 1,8 Mbps uplink. Rev. B h tr tc uplink ln n 14,7 Mbps (3 knh sng mang). D kin n gia nm 2009 khi Rev. C hay cn gi l UMB ra i (s dng MIMO v OFDMA) s h tr tc downlink ln n 275 Mbps v uplink ln n 75 MBps. Tc ny cho php ngi ta coi UMB l cng ngh ca mng 4G, snh ngang vi LTE ca dng cng ngh HSPA/WCDMA. Cng ging nh HSPDA, cc modem t Rev. A tr ln ca CDMA2000 s dng chipset ca Qualcomm cng c kh nng x l ng thi cuc gi voice bng chuyn mch knh v truy cp d liu bng chuyn mch gi.Hin nay thit b CDMA2000 bng tn 1900-2200 MHz m Vit nam chun b cp php cn cha c sn. Trn th gii mi ch c 1 nh khai thc duy nht l KDDI ca Nht Bn trin khai CDMA2000 bng tn 1900-2200 MHz. Thit b cho mng ny c KDDI t hng ring ca Toshiba nn khng ph bin trn th trng. Thit b CDMA2000 trong bng 1900-2200 MHz c th s ch c sau khi Rev. C (hay UMB) c thng mi ho vo cui nm 2009, u nm 2010. Tuy nhin th trng cho cng ngh CDMA2000 vn nh hn GSM/UMTS nay li ang suy gim. Ti mt s nc, cc nh khai thc CDMA2000 cng ang chuyn hng sang HSPA. Ti Hn Quc, KTF v SK Telecom tuyn b ngng u t vo mng CDMA2000 v bt u t u nm nay chuyn dn khch hng sang HSPA. Ti Australia, Telstra tuyn b s thu hp v ngng hot ng mng EV-DO v chuyn dn khch hng sang mng HSPA. Cc nh sn xut cng khng cn quan tm nhiu n CDMA2000 na. Nokia tuyn b rt khi vic nghin cu pht trin CDMA v ch tip tc kinh doanh cc sn phm CDMA mt s th trng trng im.2.3.IMT-2000 CDMA TDD:H cng ngh CDMA TDD bao gm TD-CDMA v TD-SCDMA. Cng ngh TD-SCDMA do chnh ph Trung Quc ch o Hc vin Cng ngh Vin thng Trung Quc v Cng ty Datang nghin cu, pht trin vi mc tiu khng l thuc vo cng ngh Phng Ty nhm trnh phi tr mt khon ph bn quyn khng nh cho cc sng ch ca cc cng ty u-M ng thi thc y ngnh cng nghip in t-vin thng Trung Quc pht trin. Cng ngh TD-SCDMA cn ang c nghin cu pht trin v cha c nc no ngoi Trung Quc d nh trin khai.TD-CDMA hay cn gi l UMTS-TDD s dng chung mt knh v tuyn 5 MHz cho c ng ln v ng xung. Mi khung thi gian rng 10 ms chia thnh 15 time slot. Cc time slot c phn b cho ng ln v ng xung theo mt t l c nh. Cng ngh truy cp CDMA c s dng trong mi time slot ghp knh cc dng d liu t cc tranceiver khc nhau. Cng ngh TD-CDMA ch yu c s dng truy cp d liu internet bng thng rng ch khng dnh cho thoi. N ch yu c dng cho cc pico-cell v micro-cell c nhu cu d liu ln. Hin nay c khong 20 nc trin khai TD-CDMA cc thnh ph ln. Tuy nhin cng ngh ny cha thc s chn mui v quy m th trng cng nh s lng cc nh cung cp thit b cn nhiu hn ch.2.4.IMT-2000 TDMA Single-Carrier:Cng ngh TDMA Single-Carrier cn c gi l WUC-136, c pht trin t tiu chun IS-136 TDMA. N s dng cc knh c rng 30 KHz, 200 KHz v 1,6 MHz. Cng ngh ny vn cn ang giai on nghin cu pht trin, cha c h thng no c trin khai thng mi, do cng t c kh nng chim lnh th trng.2.5.IMT-2000 FDMA/TDMA:Cng ngh ny cn c tn gi l DECT. N c ETSI pht trin v c trin khai mt s nc chu u, chu v chu M cho cc h thng in thoi khng dy tng i c quan (PBX) v in thoi v tuyn ni th cng cng. Do c cng sut nh, vng ph sng hp (maximum 0,25W) nn cng ngh ny khng thch hp cho vic ph sng ton quc n cc vng nng thn.IMT-2000 OFDMA TDD WMAN:Cng ngh ny da trn tiu chun 802.16e-2005 hay cn gi l Wimax di ng. N c IEEE pht trin v ang c th nghim trin khai mt s nc. Mobile Wimax c mt s c im c bn nh sau: Thit k mng da trn cu trc All-IP Knh v tuyn c rng 3.5, 5, 7, 10, 20 MHz; song cng TDD S dng iu ch OFDMA Tn s 2.3; 2.5; 3.5 GHz T CW2 (2008) tr ln s h tr ngten thng minh (MIMO) Tc (CW2) DL = 37.4 Mbps; UL=10 Mbps.Cng ngh Wimax ang c kh nhiu cc cng ty tham gia pht trin, c bit l cc cng ty ang chim th phn khim tn trong mi trng thng tin di ng nh Nortel hay Motorola. Wimax l cng ngh c tim nng cnh tranh cao trong vic cung cp dch v truy cp khng dy bng rng. Hin nay Wimax forum c ti 469 thnh vin (7/2007) l cc nh sn xut chip/linh kin; cc nh cung cp thit b, cc nh cung cp dch v v cc nh cung cp ng dng.Tuy nhin Mobile Wimax cng c mt s nhc im. Bng tn cho Mobile Wimax khng c thng nht cao trn ton cu nh UMTS nn quy m th trng b phn mnh, dn n chi ph sn xut cao, thit b c gi thnh cao. Cng ngh Wimax c pht trin t con s 0 nn khng tng thch vi bt k cng ngh no c trc . Ngoi ra, vic pht trin Wimax xut pht t nhu cu cung cp dch v d liu bng rng khng dy nn chi ph cung cp dch v thoi qua mng Wimax di ng l kh tn km trong khi nhu cu ch yu ca ngi tiu dng hin nay vn l thoi (80-90% lu lng ton mng), s lng ngi s dng laptop v PDA vn cn kh t.Quan trng hn c l cng ngh Wimax khng c mt bng tn 1900-2200 MHz ang c chun b cp php Vit Nam.Cng ngh no cho mng 3G Vit Nam?Nh phn tch trn y ta thy rng bng tn Vit Nam ang chun b cp php (1900-2200 MHz) hin ti mi ch c cng ngh WCDMA l sn sng. Cc cng ngh khc, k c CDMA2000-1x EV-DO l cha sn sng on bng tn ny vo thi im thng 9/2007. Cng ngh EV-DO sm nht cng ch c kh nng c mt bng tn 1900-2200 MHz vo nm 2010 khi Rev. C c thng mi ho.Mc d mt s nc trn th gii cp php bng tn 3G theo tiu ch c lp v cng ngh (khng gn vic cp bng tn vi bt k cng ngh no) nhng thc t trin khai nhiu nc cho thy trong bng tn 1900-2200 MHz, cng ngh WCDMA/HSPA vn l cng ngh ch o, c a s cc nh khai thc la chn. Quy m th trng ln ca cng ngh ny cng m bo rng n s c tip tc pht trin trong tng lai.3. Kin trc mng 3G-UMTS3.1. Cc c tnh v tuyn ca mng 3G-UMTSCc thng s tiu chun cho giao tip v tuyn WCDMA FDD nh sau:- Ch truy nhp:WCDMA FDD- Bng tn:1920 - 1980 MHz; 2110 - 2170 MHz- rng sng mang: 5 MHz- Tc tri ph: 3,84 Mbps- Chuyn giao cng mt tn s: Soft Handover- Chuyn giao gia hai tn s: Hard Handover- iu khin cng sut: 1,5 KHzCc thng s tiu chun cho giao tip v tuyn WCDMA TDD nh sau:- Ch truy nhp: WCDMA TDD- Bng tn: 1900 - 1920 MHz; 2020 - 2025 MHz- rng sng mang:5 MHz- Tc tri ph:3,84 Mbps- iu ch:QPSK- Chuyn giao cng mt tn s: Hard Handover- Chuyn giao gia hai tn s: Hard Handover- iu khin cng sut:ng ln: 200 Hz, ng xung: 800Hz3.2. Cc thnh phn mng tip tc tm hiu v UMTS, chng ta s tm hiu xem kin trc mng UMTS bao gm cc thnh phn no. Hnh sau y m t kin trc c bn ca mng 3G-UMTS.

Mng UMTS bao gm 2 phn, phn radio access (UTRAN) v phn core (CN). Radio access bao gm Node B, RNC. Cn phn core th c core cho data bao gm SGSN, GGSN. Phn core cho voice th c MCS v GMSC. Hnh trn cng th hin r lm th no GSM/GPRS kt ni vo UMTS core (BTS v BSC).Node B: Chc nng chnh ca Node B l x l lp vt l (L1) giao din v tuyn nh m ha knh, an xen, tri ph, iu ch... N cng thc hin mt chc nng ti nguyn v tuyn nh iu khin cng sut vng trongRNC: Trong trng hp Node B ch c mt kt ni vi mng th RNC chu trch nhim iu khin Node B c gi l CRNC. Ngc li, khi Node B c hn mt kt ni mng th cc RNC c chia thnh hai loi khc nhau theo vai tr logic ca chng. RNC phc v (Serving RNC): y l RNC kt ni c ng lu lng v bo hiu RANAP vi mng li. SRNC cng kt cui bo hiu iu khin ti nguyn v tuyn gia UE v UTRAN, x l s liu lp 2 (L2) t/ti giao din v tuyn. SRNC ca Node B ny cng c th l CRNC ca mt Node B khc. RNC tri (Drift RNC): y l RNC bt k khc vi SRNC, iu khin cc c MS s dng. Khi cn, DRNC c th thc hin kt hp v phn chia phn tp v m. DRNC khng thc hin x l lp 2 i s liu t/ti giao din v tuyn m ch nh tuyn s liu mt cch trong sut gia cc giao din Iub v Iur. MtUE c th khng c hoc c mt hay nhiu DRNC.SGSN = Serving GPRS Support Node. Trong mng li GPRS ca 1 operator c nhiu SGSN ch khng phi ch c 1. Mi SGSN kt ni trc tip vi 1 s RNC. Mi RNC li qun l 1 s Node B, v mi node-B s c mt s UE ang ni kt. SGSN qun l tt c cc UE ang s dng dch v data trong vng ca n. Vi tr ca SGSN l: Authenticate (xc minh) cc UE ang dng dch v data ni kt vi n Qun l vic ng k ca 1 UE vo mng GPRS (data). Qun l qu trnh di ng ca UE. C th l SGSN phi bit l UE hin ang ni kt vi thng Node-B no ti mt thi im. Ty theo UE ang mode active (ang lin lc) hay idle (khng lin lc) m chnh xc ca thng tin lin quan n v tr UE s khc nhau. SGSN s phi qun l v theo di s thay i v tr (location area identity/ routing area identity) ca UE theo thi gian. To dng, duy tr v gii phng cc "PDP context" (cc thng tin lin quan n connection ca UE m n cho php/qui nh vic gi v nhn thng tin ca UE) Nhn v chuyn thng tin t ngoi mng data (Internet chng hn) n UE v ngc li. Qun l vic tnh tin (billing) i vi cc UE. Tm v nh thc idle UE khi c cuc gi tm n UE (paging)GGSN= Gateway GPRS Support Node . Nh ng tn gi ca n, n l mt ci gateway gia mng GPRS/UMTS v cc mng ngoi (external network, nh Internet chng hn, cc mng GPRS khc). Vi tr ca n: Nhn v chuyn thng tin t UE gi ra ngoi mng external v ngc li t ngoi n UE. Packet thng tin t SGSN gi n GGSN s c "decapsulate" trc khi gi ra ngoi v thng tin truyn gia SGSN v GGSN l truyn trn 'GTP tunnel'. Nu thng tin t ngoi n GGSN gi n mt UE trong khi cha tn ti PDP context, th GGSN s yu cu SGSN thc hin paging v sau s thc hin qu trnh PDP context chuyn cuc gi n UE. Trong sut qu trnh lin lc thng qua ni kt mng UMTS, UE s ch connect vi 1 GGSN (m GGSN ni kt vi dch v m UE ang dng). D c di chuyn i u i na, GGSN vn khng i. D nhin l SGSN, RNC v Node-B s thay i. GGSN cng tham gia vo qun l qu trnh di ng ca UE. 3.2. Cc giao din.Giao din IubGiao din Iub l mt giao din quan trng nht trong s cc giao din ca h thng mng UMTS. Chng hn nu ta cn u ni 100BTS vi dung lng Iub ca miBTS l 2,5 Mbps, bit rng cu hnh cho mi BTS hai lung 2 Mbps v tng dung lng kh dng ca giao din Iub s l 100 x 2 x 2 = 400 Mbps. L trnh ln 3G cho cc mng GSM ti Vit NamSong song vi s pht trin v s lng thu bao l t trng sn lng ngy cng tng ca cc dich v s liu so vi dch v thoi. Nh vy, ch l vn thi gian i vi vic thng tin s liu trn mng di ng tr thnh mt lnh vc kinh doanh mng v hiu qu. EDGE tng cng c cc kh nng truyn s liu ca mng GSM/GPRS, h tr tc s liu ln ti 384Kbps mt tc s liu ca th h ba. Do vy, c th ni EDGE s to mt bc m quan trng tin ti mng WCDMA.Tuy nhin, s phn khng ca khch hng vi dch v s liu trn nn cng nghip chuyn mch gi ca GPRS (truy cp Internet, Entrannet, MMS, WAP, Games Online) s l yu t quyt nh con ng pht trin tip theo ca h thng.
