如果你担心做出来的字幕用 VLC或者 Windows Media Player 播放出现乱码，那么可

以用格式工厂将字幕永远嵌入视频，这样不用担心软字幕(外挂字幕)播放不出来。

步骤一：运行格式工厂，选择视频格式，并点击进入，添加视频选项窗口。

步骤二：选择需要嵌入字幕的视频，并添加至列表，打开

步骤三：视频添加完毕点击“输出配置”选项卡，弹出“视频设置”窗口。

步骤四：在视频配置选项列表中找到“附加字幕”，在同一列第二栏中点击小按钮

找到字幕并添加进去，此时还可以给字幕设置字体大小颜色等等信息。

步骤五： 设置字幕字体颜色

如果你添加的字幕是 SRT 格式的，格式工厂的默认输出字幕字体是蓝色，边框黑

色，可以调整为字体黑色、边框白色，这样字幕更清楚。

修改设置之后：

步骤六：以上步骤完成后，然后确定——确定——开始，字幕嵌入任务正式开始。

如何利用「FormatFactory 格式工廠」將影片、字幕合併成一個檔案

有時候我們會有將影片與字幕合併在一起的需求，這樣就方便我們將影片上傳

到手持式裝置上，例如：iPhone、iPod 等手機或 MP4 播放器上，這樣的好處

是我們可以隨時隨地觀看喜愛的影片，雖然網路上有不少人在討論這樣的工

具，但我覺得最方便的還是使用「FormatFactory 格式工廠」來轉換(雖然不是最

快速)，或許有些網友還不知道它有內建字幕合併這個功能，因此本文將就功能

做進一步的解說。

註：現在的手機影音播放 APP 大部分都支援字幕外掛播放了

3 【影片字幕合併教學】

假設我們最終的輸出格式是 MP4，那麼請選擇「任何格式轉成 MP4」

接著按「新增檔案」加入欲轉檔的影片後，點擊「輸出配置」 ，進入細部設定

重點來囉，在影片設定的視窗中找到「新增的字幕」 ，在右邊數值的欄位中指

向字幕的檔案，目前支援的字幕格式有「srt、ass、ssa、idx」等四種，按確定

之後返回便可以開始轉檔了，但「字幕字型大小」的設定似乎只在「SRT」的

格式有效，有測試過將它套用到 ASS 的字幕，結果轉出來的結果是一樣的大

小。

先不論轉檔的速度如何，由下圖可以看出效果還不錯，可以正確的將字幕嵌入

到影片中

4 更新：字幕設定測試 (2014.09.14)

在主視窗的「選項」中還有字幕的相關功能，所以在 3.3.5 版本測試一下其功

能

請切換到「字幕字型」，可以看到右邊可以變換字幕的字型和字體、字框顏

色，經測試後發現字型的確可以變換，但這邊要注意，字體和字框顏色只能套

用在「SRT」的字幕格式上，我套用在別的字幕格式上顏色會無法變更

There are two types of subtitle, soft subtitle and hard subtitle. Soft subtitle is subtitle which is

not attached to the video, so the file is apart from the video. Commonly its file types

are .srt, .ass, and many more. You can edit this subtitle using some programs. Otherwise, Hard

subtitle is a subtitle which is attached to the video. You can't edit it or take it from the video.

There are some softwares that can be used to create hard subtitle, but those are usually

complicated, and amateur are difficult to use it. But, there are programs that is simple to be

used. It is Format Factory. Maybe you had it in your computer to convert your video.

Now, I will give you the steps hoe to make hard subs using Format Factory.

If you do not have Format Factory, you can download it here. (It is free)

If you had the program, open it. I used Format Factory 3.5.0.

Before working the project, you have to have your soft subtitle first. If you want to

make your subtitle, you can use aegisub (you can see how to make subtitle using

aegisub).

Don't forget to put the video you want to give the subtitle and the softfile in the same

folder. You have to give the same file name.

Then, back to Format Factory. In the video column, choose one of the video type you

want to work in. For example, if you want the output video in MP4, click MP4. I

usually use MP4 type.

After the dialog box as the picture below appeared, click Add File. Choose the video.

See picture below. After choosing the video, then it is in the dialog box. You can

choose the output setting to set the size of your video. Then, click OK.

Your video is ready to be converted. Then, click START. Don't worry your subtitle

will automatically attach to your video.

Then, your video is in process converted. Wait for it until it finished.

After the convert is done, choose OUTPUT FOLDER, to open the video. And, Tadaaa

your video have subtitle in it.

Format Factory is another very easy program to embed subtitles into AVI and other format

video files, but has a few more options than Freemake such as support for 4 subtitle formats

SRT/SSA/ASS/IDX, color, size and font editing. It cannot though burn the video straight out

to DVD.

1. Download Format Factory , extract the zip file, then install and launch it.

2. Click on All to AVI in the Video tab on the left of the window. In the next window, click

Add File and locate the video file.

3. Still in the All to AVI window, click Output Setting. From here you can select the output

quality from the drop down menu, obviously Medium or High are preferable. The green icons

are for XVID and the blue are for DIVX which is down to your personal preference. Or if you

prefer, you can also use AVC.

4. To add the subtitle file, double click on Additional Subtitle in the settings list, then click

on the line “Additional Subtitle (srt;ass;ssa;idx)” and a small icon will appear which you can

press to locate the subtitle file. The size of the subtitle can be altered from 2 – 6 (default is 4),

the other settings shouldn’t need touching. Click OK -> OK.

5. Then simply click on the Start button to encode the subtitles into the video. If you go

into the program’s Options there is the ability to change the subtitle font and also the font

colour and its outline colour.
