Howler LOW FREQUENCY SIREN & SPEAKER SYSTEM
An added layer of warning for intersections and high risk areas
when used with your 100/200 watt siren amplifier. Howler provides
deep, low frequency tones, which penetrate other vehicles, alerting
drivers and pedestrians of your approach.

Howler is not a replacement to thevehicles primary siren; Howler
addsa minimum eight second penetratingburst of low frequency siren
sound foruse in heavy traffic, intersections orother high ambient
noise conditions.
Built-in timer limits overexposuretime, however operators are
advisedto wear approved hearing protection.
Two external cancel controls,standard. A positive or
negativeactivation will cancel tone.
Select tone duration and tone stylevia easy Scan-Lock feature
andLED indicator (selection of 8different tone durations:
8-60seconds maximum).

The Howler is an add-on to any100-200 watt warning siren such
asthe Whelen 295SL Series. Works
with most Siren Amplifiers. Includes two speakers for use
withHowler amplifier only.
Works with any sweeping tone, plusHi/Low and electronic
mechanicaltone generated by the primary siren.
The Howler low-frequency tonessynchronize with your primary
sirentones to penetrate high noise, trafficsituations.
The Howler amplifier module usesthe primary siren speaker
outputwires and divides the frequency toone of three frequency
bands via dipswitch. Selections are 1/4 tone, 1/2tone or a
composite of 1/4 and 1/2tones.
Lower frequency reverberatingtones are able to penetrate
vehicles,alerting drivers to your oncomingemergency vehicle.
