EUROCRAB aims to demonstrate the feasibility of a high luminosity collisionscheme with “large Piwinski angle and Crab Waist” in storage rings, forapplication to existing collider’s upgrade (DAΦNE Φ-Factory at LNF, LHC atCERN) and for the design of a new European Super B-Factory with 1036 cm-2 s-1
luminosity, i.e. two orders of magnitude higher than presently achieved.

Design study for a third-generation detector for Gravitational Waves. Specifically, our goal is to identify the technologies and design characteristics that could lead toamplitude sensitivity more than a hundred times that of the existing first generationdevices. This will increase the observable volume of the universe and, correspondingly, the event rate by a factor of more than one million.
