this underlying philosophy dominates the mind of today’s

inputs. INDCARE College of Law (ICL) emphasizes upon core values such as professionalism,

Over the course of two decades, INDCARE Trust

has been successfully working in different parts

of the country since 1989 for the betterment of

the status of women and children. The endeavor

of the organization is to enhancing the abilities of

women, children and under privileged

communities through a grass root level

involvement in policy and advocacy. The

organization achieves this by exploring and enhancing their potential and providing them with a

variety of networks and resources so that they become empowered with sustainable livelihood

with the right to live with dignity and self respect. To sustain with these high ideas, INDCARE

Trust steps forward into the knowledge sectoring the form of INDCARE College Of Law.

The INDCARE College Of Law aims to instill in their students a high level of competence in

comprehension, analysis and presentation skills. Students are encouraged to delve into literature

regarding the subject matter from various sources and are taught to process what they learnt

through in-depth thinking. INDCARE College Of Law teaches students meticulous investigative

and analytical skills through inventive and modern classroom teaching that integrates theory and

practice, without comprising professional ethics. We aim to enhance the student’s expert

judgment and reasoning through dynamic and innovative learning environment, while instilling in

them the goal to advocate positive changes in law that improves the society at large. ICL boasts of

large collection of books regarding various subjects of law, providing the student with a plethora

of information in various fields. The course in designed to encourage students to think like a

lawyer from the beginning. Students will develop essential legal skills through practical

workshops and problem-based learning. Preparation for Practice module will give them

professional skills which they will need in their future careers.

lawyers would be required to handle cases arising out of international trade and as a result of

growing importance of WTO. At present there are more than 5,00,000 advocates in India and the

number is swelling with 15,000 new enrolments every year.

civil or criminal, at all levels of judiciary, that is, Trial Court, High Court, Supreme Court or Quasi-

Judicial Institutions. Persons holding Law degree or other higher legal qualifications have ample

employment opportunities in private as well as public sector .It is their choice whether they opt

for service or prefer to practice as a Lawyer.

Lawyers can work as legal counsel and legal advisors for corporate organizations, legal persons,

individuals and families. They can work as trustees of various trusts, as teachers, law reporters,

company secretaries and so on. Additional Law qualification along with other degrees offers scope

for a wide range of employment opportunities. One who desires to become an advocate and

practice Law as a profession after Law degree. He/ she should get himself/herself enrolled with

State Central Bar Council as per provisions contained in the Advocates Act, 1961. Besides, he/she

is also required to qualify in the entry test recently introduced by Bar Council of India failing

which no one shall be enrolled as an advocate.

Persons possessing requisite qualifications are recruited for Indian legal service against various

posts– Legal advisors in Department of Legal Affairs and Legislative Counsel in Legislative

Department. These officers can reach the level of Secretary to the Government of India with the

passage of time according to their suitability. Likewise, Legislative Counsels are also appointed in

official languages Wing of the Legislative Department for Hindi and Regional languages. At the

state level, too, officers with legal qualifications and professional qualifications are also appointed

against similar posts. Law officers/ Legal advisors are appointed in almost all the

Ministries/Departments/ undertakings of the Govt. of India and State Governments. All these

posts are generally filled up by recruitment through UPSC and State Public Service Commissions

on regular/ deputation basis.

COLLEGE OF LAW

The College Of Law offers Undergraduate programs in Law as per the guidelines of the Bar Council of

India and the University Grant Commission. The mandatory course includes a six semester program.

In order to promote interaction between student and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures

and workshop are conducted on various subjects of law in regular intervals.

The College Of Law has well equipped infrastructure. The entire campus is WiFi enabled. A Mecca of

knowledge plays the role of a center for browsing knowledge resources.

The air conditioned Library is stocked with books, journals, periodicals, magazines and compendiums

on various topics. The silent environment and computerized classification of books adds to the

ambience of the library.

Advanced and ergonomically designed Lecture Halls are spacious and adequately equipped with

podiums, white boards and LCD Projector facility.

Designed in work-station form, the Faculty Rooms with highly professional faculty members provide

much needed scope for intellectually stimulating discussions and structuring lectures and informal

banter.

The Moot Court is established in which students take part in simulated court proceedings, which

usually involves drafting briefs and participating in oral argument. Students typically spend a

semester researching and writing the memorials, and another semester practicing their oral

arguments.

Located in the Administrative section, the Conference Room is utilized as a venue for formal

meetings, discussions and brain storming sessions. The conference Room is also a preferred venue

for chalking out the activities of various student forums such as sports and cultural programs and

various other in-house official meetings.

ICL provides separate Hostel Facility for boys and girls at a location nearby to the main building. The

50 bed boy’s hostel and 100 bed girl’s hostel are aesthetically designed complete with mess and

recreational facilities, in safe and secure environment.

To and fro facility may be availed from the nearest specified stoppage points by utilizing the

Institute’s transport facility on a nominal payment

LOCATION

Set amidst a lush green environment, the campus is ideally located at a 30 minute drive from New

Delhi, at knowledge park-III, Greater Noida, a fledging township and a claimant for the city of the

millennium.

an Academic Industry synergy through pro-active interactions.

FEE STRUCTURE FOR SESSION

REGISTRATION FEE – 1000 INR TUTION FEE- 35000 INR ANNUAL

“Fee is payable at the time of admission CONFIRMATION SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR MERITORIOUS STUDENTS 25%-50% discount FOR /SC/ST. 10% seats are reserved for marginalized woman candidates/Physically challenged

/Transgender. ICL is enrolled in State Scholarship portal (Social Welfare Department) for reimbursement of fee

for marginalized and meritorious students.

CURRICULUM

Curriculum based on CCS University, Meerut. Which are semester mode 3 years(6 Semester)

Duration of the Course and Semester System:

The duration of the course shall be for three academic years. Each academic year is divided into two semester( July-Dec. & Feb.-June)

ELIGIBILITY AND ADMISSION PROCESS

Admission to the LL.B.-3 Year Integrated program is made strictly on merit based result of the ICL ENTRANCE TEST "ICLET" & Personal Interview of the student. To be eligible for admission in the LL.B-3 Year Degree Program, the Candidate should: a) Have passed Graduation in any discipline of a recognized College/University, having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category & 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category. b) Candidates appearing/appeared for the Final Examination are also eligible to apply. c) Age (As per C.C.S. University and Bar Council of India norms) Note: All the above mentioned rules & regulation are subject to C.C.S. University and Bar Council of India. Note: Applicants with LSAT scores will be given preference.
