IPv6 時代來臨 IPv6 勢將取代 IPv4 ,且其時代已經來臨

IPv6 相關技術標準制訂工作皆已完成 寬頻及無限通訊技術急速發展,將加速 IPv4 用罄。

IPv6 將是 Internet 新應用及商業的契機 IPv6 之設計已考量未來 Internet 可能之需求,故可配合各項新的應用,帶來新的商機。 IA 及 Wireless 應用。

各先進國家積極投入研發與推廣 各先進國家多已投入大量經費與人力從事研發與推廣,以因應 IPv

Chair: Jun Murai Not only router vendors and service providers, but

home appliance developers etc. are involved TAO (Telecommunications Advancement Organization of Japan)

conducts a nation-wide IPv6 experiment including home appliance application development, using budget of 8 billion Yen (= $ 800k).

The government plans to develop: IPv6-applied high speed Internet equipments including routers, IMT2000 terminals and information home appliances by investing 46.8 billion won of government budget and 36.8 billion won of private fund, a total of 83.6 billion won until 2003.

研發單位 : 資策會、中華電信研究所、工研院電通所、中研院 及各大學等學術單位 網路設備商 : Cisco, Ericsson, Nokia, Notel, etc. 軟體業者 : Microsoft, Compaq, Sun, etc. 網路終端設備商 : 國內 ADSL, L2/L3 switch, bluetooth 設備商 國內 IA 與 Mobile Handset 業者 ( i.e. liaison with TCA ) 第一二類網路業者

預計重點工作 訂定標準測試的宗旨和目標 尋找合適的地點以建置測試環境 尋找有興趣的廠商以提供相關設備 訂定測試項目、測試範圍、測試方法及依循的標準 提供適合的單位進行相關測試,並彙整結果 , 供各界參考。 與國際 IPv6 測試組織進行交流 定期舉辦測試研討會

IPv6 推動委員會 – 骨幹建設小組 預計參加單位 包括國家高速電腦中心 (TANet2) 、教育部電算中心 (TANet) 、電信國家型計畫辦公室 (NBEN) 、 TWNIC 、 中華電信 ( HiNet,TWIX) 、台灣固網、東森寬頻電信、 新世紀資通各固網業者及 SeedNet 等 ISP 業者 預計重點工作

建立 IPv6 骨幹維護管理運作機制 推動國內 IPv6 網路互連及與其他國際 IPv6 網路 互連合作 協助建置 Native IPv6 網路 訂定 IPv6 位址分配與管理政策

IPv6 推動委員會 – 應用推廣小組 於 90 年 10 月 12 日召開「籌備成立 IPv6 Forum Taiwan 」討論會 與會單位及人員共計為 18 單位 23 人 主要建議事項 :

支持 IPv6 Forum Taiwan 之成立,產、官、學、研應共同參與 相互配合,以加速國內 IPv6 推廣。 Forum 之主要目標為促進資訊交流與知識共享等應用推廣,而 非標準制定。 初期組織應以精簡而有效率為考量,各項計畫可階段性完 成,再逐步擴充 Forum 的功能及範圍。 初期二至三年運作所需經費建議可由科專方式籌措,並請 NICI 協調相關事項。 建議委請工研院電通負責儘快研擬 IPv6 Forum 之成立模 式、 入會辦法、組織架構等規劃,並訂定明確之時間表。
