Our Rivers?

The natural resources misuse refers to excessive use, destructive use or achieving disparity between resources. The people know there are renewable resources and nonrenewable resources and our governments know too; but there are powerful reasons pushing every day to increase the misuse such as: commercial interests like trading in products out of natural resources, food interest, ignorance on necessity to preserve natural resources, etc.; In Costa Rica the rivers contamination can be the most important problem they have. The river contamination needs to be stopped right now, they need prevent more crimes against nature from industries and giant mega-projects that change and damage the surrounding areas near water sources; chemicals dumped into the river alter surrounding areas and fresh water supplies; the government of Costa Rica should punish those responsible with large fines and sanctions, such as cleaning up the mess. However, this does not mean that misuse of natural resources is always inevitable but at least they need to a better effort.

2) Write a 10line persuasive paragraph. (Topic free). 15 pts

Note: If you have no idea of a topic, you can see or use any of this examples:

Children shouldnt watch TV after 10 pm.

People should go to jail when they abandon their pets.

Kids should get paid for good grades.

Too much money is a bad thing.

We shouldn't use products made from animal skins.

Aliens probably exist.

Reincarnation is possible.

People should go to jail when they abandon their pets.

In Costa Rica during the last months we saw a lot of terrible news related with animal abuse. I cant imagine what those people are thinking when they hurt an animal. Why if you kill a person with your car you go jail but if its an animal you didnt go jail? Animals are just like us. They need love and support and they should not be abandoning or abused. Pets need food, water, medical care and the most important affection. Only the person that has a pet knows what I am talking right now, Dogs know when you are happy, when you are sad; they are part of the family. People who commit this crime should go to jail because they are hurting a living being just because they cannot talk does not mean that they don't have feelings. Animals are living things too! Every single animal in this world has the right to happiness and should receive the love it gives out to the owners. And like I mentioned before if a person kills another, they get locked up, I believe if a person kills or seriously injures an animal it should be the same norm, because they are just the same as us, they have feelings to.

Animals give us unconditional love, they protect us, and they love us like we should love them. Animals are noble. They need to be protected. They need to be loved.
