I, Eddie J Goodman, certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the Stateof Washington, that the foregoing is true and correct:

I am employed by the City of Renton Police Department, which is located at 1055S Grady Way, Renton Washington 98057. I have been employed by the Renton PoliceDeparhnent since April

1988 when I was hired as an entry level Police Officer. I amcurrently assigned to the Patrol Services Division of the Renton Police Department as aCollision Investigator. I am a trained and qualified radar operator. My duties in theTraffic unit include but are not limited to checking and certifying the calibration of thespeedometers of the Renton Police Department patrol cars.

The Renton Police Department certifies the speedometers on its' patrol cars,

wherein each patrol car speedometer is tested within every twenty- four( 24) months. Thisprogram requires the following:

The patrol car speedometer is certified by verifying the speed of the patrol carwith a certified radar unit at speeds of 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 mph. Any differencesbetween the speedometer reading and the radar reading are documented below. The radarunit used in this certification was Kustom Falcon HR# FH02736. Additionally, before

and after testing each speedometer, I established proper function of the radar unit. Iperformed both an internal and external check of the radar unit using tuning fork# 41543,

which is radar unit FH02736 assigned tuning fork. During the entire certification process,the above radar unit was in good working order and functioning properly. An affidavitregarding the radar unit used is on file at the Renton Municipal in Renton Washington.
