You are given a responsibility by the Head of Department to setup a network for 10 desktops in the office. You need some network devices to setup these networking. You are given 2 weeks to complete the task.

Anda telah diberi tanggung jawab oleh Ketua Jabatan untuk membuat rangkaian bagi 10 komputer meja di pejabat. Anda memerlukan beberapa peranti rangkaian untuk membuat rangkaian tersebut.. Anda diberi masa selama 2 minggu untuk menyelesaikan tugasan tersebut.

(b) Explain the type of network architecture used in the network. Client / Server network, one computer act as a server

that provides services and the other computer (client) on the network request services from the server.

A server is a computer that controls access to the hardware, software and other resources on the network and provides a centralized storage are for program.

A client is a computer that requests services from server computer such as to install software, printing document and shared files or documents.

(c) Explain two user interface principles that can be applied to develop an interesting multimedia presentation.

Choose any two user interface principles Consistency – means the interface design is in

harmony and the same applies to all screen in software. For example every user interface uses the same words or commands perform the same functions.

Clarity – means clearness of labels on all icons to make system easy to understand. For example icons, words or commands should be clearly labeled so that users can understand them easily.

Context – means every part of a lesson should be relevant to a particular title. Ideas presented need to relate to the title. For example, if the lesson is about flow chart, all the sections including the introduction, content, activity, evaluation, summary and extension should be related to the flow chart.

Navigation – means users can move around the menus, help files or other screen in a system.

And refer to score a book.

Choose only one answer Interpreter – is a program that translates a high –

level language into machine language. Interpreter translates programming statement of a program into machine language; no object code is saved and then executes it immediately, line by line.

Compiler – is a proram that translates a high – level language into machine language. Compiler translates entire programming statement of a program into machine language, save it in an object code file and then executes it later.

Every year, the co-curriculum unit will give marks and grades to all SPM students. Ahmad is an ICT teacher and given a task to build a program to calculate the marks. He uses Microsoft Visual Basic programming language to complete his task.

Setiap tahun, unit ko-kurikulum akan memberi markah dan gred kepada semua pelajar SPM. Ahmad sebagai guru ICT dan diberi tugas untuk membina satu program untuk mengira markah dan gred tersebut. Beliau menggunakan bahasa pengaturcaraan Microsoft Visual Basic untuk menyiapkan tugasannya.
