Personal Profile

I am a graduate of the University of Canterbury with a double major in Accounting, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. I have a very mature outlook, get on well with people of all ages and pride myself on my friendly and outgoing personality. I am a very conscientious person that is committed to lifelong learning and always strive for the best. My current job at Inland Revenue and previous job at The Warehouse has helped me gain professional experience in the working world and progress valuable skill sets such as teamwork and communication. I am looking for a position that will allow me to utilise these skills to their full potential, whilst allowing me to learn new and develop current ones further.

Key Skills

Leadership

- Class Representative for MSCI371 has allowed me to be responsible for the communication between the lecturer and the class.

- Becoming House Caption for Lydiard House at High School in 2012 gave me the chance to make critical decisions regarding assemblies, prizegivings and other house events.

- Coaching tennis has given me valuable teaching and leadership skills gained through instructing others from a wide age group.

Teamwork

- Working with other people to complete group assignments and presentations at University has helped me to develop great teamwork skills

- Playing tennis competitively and netball socially has helped me understand the importance of giving your best at all times and the significance of working together.

- Being a part of the Lydiard House Executive at Rangiora High School in 2012 has given me the experience of working with people for an extended amount of time where we gained a deeper understanding of each other’s strengths in order to optimise them.

- Being Lydiard House Captain has formulated beneficial listening and oral communication skills by speaking at assemblies and working alongside students and teachers.

Decision Making Skills

- Working at The Warehouse allows me to help customers with their questions and problems and make decisions that best suit their needs.

- I achieved an A on a Strategic Operations Management assignment that gave me the opportunity to make decisions regarding a simulated business in order to improve its financial

position. Decisions such as the businesses contracts and inventory levels let me to experience what it is like to operate a business.

- Provide service to customers in both customer service and checkout operator roles.

- August 2014 started training as a Supervisor which involves answering customer questions such as stock location and levels and looking after the checkout operators and area.
