I am wring I am wring to inquire possible employment with your company in regards to a design posion. A posion ofthis sort would be an excellant match with my educaon, experience, and career interests. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of your growing interior design & model home staging company.
During the past year I have been employed as an interior designer at Roche Bobois, specializing in AutoCAD drawings, elevaons, and presentaon sheets using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I have also assisted with product specificaon in regards to upholstery color/finish selecons & furniture configuraon and space planning. I have eexperience dealing with overseas suppliers to order samples and place purchase orders with vendors resulng in my construcve work ethic and resource coordinaon skills. I have combined both individual and team efforts while employed as a sales representave learning to communicate clearly between designers and suppliers. This posion also emphasized my me management and deadline skills, resulng in quick turn-around for project deadlines. As part of this posion entails product selecon, I have been exposed to mulple supplier lines including: Kravet, i Works, Beaufurn, Cambridge Weavers Carpet, Credible Upholstery, Spectrim Buillding Products, etc; expanding my knowledge of manuof manufacturers capabilies and lead mes. Ancipang the need for AutoCAD abilies in the work field, I am also studying to achieve my professional level of AutoCAD cerficaon for 2009 this coming summer. I hope to implement these skills within the company and maintain a new level of achievement, as well as be mentored and exposed to a diversified project load and broad range of new experiences with your team.
