Kepedulian dan Tanggungjawab SosialCorporate Social Responsibility

Tanggung Jawab Sosial atau Corporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) merupakan salah satu perhatianpenting Perseroan. Kegiatan CSR Perseroan dititikberatkan pada bidang pendidikan dengan menekankanpada konsep, yaitu untuk membangun strategi yang tepatuntuk menjawab kebutuhan akan sumber daya manusiayang kompeten di berbagai bidang industri, terutamaConstruction Machinery. Hal ini didasarkan padakenyataan bahwa ketersediaan tenaga kerja yangkompeten di bidang teknik alat berat masih kurangsementara permintaan terus meningkat. Situasi tersebutmenimbulkan persaingan yang ketat untuk mendapatkansumber daya yang sesuai kebutuhan industri.

Merujuk pada konsep di atas, Perseroan telah membangunkerja sama dengan pihak Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)-Yogyakarta untuk mengembangkan program pendidikanjenjang D-IV atau setara dengan Sarjana Terapan IlmuPengetahuan. Program telah dipersiapkan secara matangsejak tahun 2010 dan telah melalui serangkaian studikelayakan untuk menentukan arah pelaksanaannya.

Melalui program ini, Perseroan memiliki visi, yaitumendorong pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia secaraefektif dan efisien dengan dukungan ilmu pengetahuandan teknologi. Perseroan juga mengemban misi, yaitu:

a. Mengembangkan kemampuan dan kompetensiSumber Daya Manusia di bidang teknik alat berat,terutama terkait produk excavator, melalui kerjasama dengan UGM.

b. Mendukung pelaksanaan program CSR melaluipendirian program Heavy Equipment Engineering.

Program pendidikan Heavy Equipment Engineering initelah memulai kelas pertamanya pada tanggal 12September 2012 dengan sebanyak 30 mahasiswa.Hexindo dalam hal ini tidak hanya terlibat dari penciptaankonsep program dan silabus namun juga memberikantunjangan biaya pelatihan kerja bagi siswa berprestasi,penyediaan tenaga pengajar yang ahli di bidangnya,penyediaan peralatan dan perlengkapan untuk pelatihan,hingga menyerap para lulusan program ini untuk bekerjadi perusahaan nantinya.

Perseroan berharap bahwa pendirian program ini secaraumum dapat berkontribusi pada penciptaan kandidatSDM yang ahli di bidang teknik alat berat, dansecara khusus, dapat meningkatkan pengetahuanmasyarakat luas mengenai produk yang dipasarkanHexindo - Hitachi di Indonesia.

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one concernfor the Company. The Company's CSR activities areconcentrated on the education through the implementationof a concept, namely to build the right strategy to answerthe needs for competent human resources acrossindustries, particularly in Construction Machinery. Thisrefers to the fact the number of competent resources inheavy equipment engineering is far from adequate whilethere is an increasing demand. The situation creates atight competition to generate human resources that meetthe industry's requirements.

Referring to the concept, the Company has builtcooperation with the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) -Yogyakarta, to develop a D-IV education program orDegree of Applied Science. The program has been wellprepared since 2010 and has gone through a series offeasibility studies in a way to determine the programobjective.

Through this program, the Company sets a vision ofencouraging the development of human resources ineffective and efficient manner and supported with thescience and technology. The Company itself also hasmissions, namely:

a. To develop the capacity and competence of HumanResources in heavy equipment engineering, particularlyexcavator products, through cooperation with UGM.

b. To support the implementation of CSR program throughthe establishment of Heavy Equipment Engineeringprogram.

The Heavy Equipment Engineering program kicked offits first class on September 12, 2012, with 30 students.Hexindo not only involves in the conception process andthe making of syllabus but also provides the trainingallowance for the best-performing students, ensures thelectures with the required expertise in the field, andprovides the tools and equipments for training purpose,as well as is responsible for absorbing the programgraduates to work in the company.

The Company expects that the program establishmentin general can contribute to the creation of future humanresources with required skills in heavy equipmentengineering while expecting to enhance public knowledgeabout the products of Hexindo - Hitachi, which are offeredto Indonesian market.
