PATIENT’S NAME : KHOOB SINGH 62YRS REFERRED BY : DR DATE OF INV. : June 21, 2016 CT STUDY OF HEAD Posterior Fossa Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location. Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal. Supratentorial Hyperdense area of blood density is seen in left thalamic region .This area measures 25x23mm . Hypodense areas are seen in bilateral basal ganglionic ,left centrum semiovale and right parieto- occipital region . Cortical sulci are prominent. Basal cisterns are seen normally. Blood is seen in occipital horns. Third and both lateral ventricles are dilated. No midline shift is seen.

Posterior Fossa

LEFT THALAMIC BLEED WITH INTRAVENTRICULAR EXTENSION .BILATERAL BASAL GANGLIONIC ,LEFT CENTRUM SEMIOVALE AND RIGHT PARIETO-OCCIPITAL INFARCTS.DIFFUSE CEREBRAL ATROPHY
