Six Senses Saigon RiverSix Senses Saigon River recreates the nostalgia and romance of Vietnamese river

living of a bygone era. There are 150 guest accommodations in total, which include

Six Senses guestroom and villas, pool villas and suites, plus a Reserve and Retreat.

All areas are interlinked with waterways. The villas front onto canals, and together

with all guestrooms, offer every personal comfort whilst embracing the Six Senses

eco-commitment and core purpose of creating innovative and enlighteningexperiences that rejuvenate our guest’s love of SLOW LIFE*.

Elevated walkways and paths wend their way through thick vegetation and over

the water, creating the feel of a village above the river. Guests are provided with

personal bicycles, whilst all villas are accessible by traditional Vietnamese row boat

and electric vehicles. Personal butlers welcome all arriving guests at the jetty.

Dining and refreshment concepts range from a Vietnamese restaurant that presents

traditional dishes while introducing creative interpretations of popular specialties,

to a French cuisine in a setting inspired by a heritage opera house. The main bar is

in the bustling village square, whilst the oating bar immerses guests into the

ever-changing river scene; and from a noodle shop to an organic Farmhouse

and Mushroom Hut located in the nearby rice eld.

Much of the resort’s produce is sourced from suppliers in the local region, with plans

underway to establish a cooperative to provide organic vegetables, fruit and salad

for the resort. This approach endorses Six Senses’ innovation by decreasing the

environmental impact of transporting produce, whilst increasing socio-economic

In addition to the luxury resort villas, Six Senses Saigon River is offering a limited

number of residential villas for private sale. Owners have the opportunity to

retain their villa for exclusively personal use, or alternatively, to include them in

the resort inventory and receive nancial returns on their investment.

These magnicent residential villas are designed with between one and four

bedrooms. Many of the en suite bathrooms feature external garden rain showers,

Catering For Every TasteThe elegant Saigon of old, is imaginatively recreated in the French restaurant, with

inspiration for the decor taken from the city’s opera house. The cuisine is French

contemporary infused with Asian herbs and spices. It is not only the setting thatreects a bygone era, the service style also draws upon the authentic dining

experiences of the past. Carving trolleys, table preparation and ambé reintroduce

classical elements of service that are fast being forgotten.

Needless to say that the adjacent wine cel lar will offer some of the finest

accompaniments for food, with several hundred labels sourced from both the new

and the old world. In addition to the impressive wines on offer, the clubby White Bar

and Brown Bar are the places to enjoy pre and post dinner drinks, or perhaps a ne

cognac, cigar and stimulating conversation.

On the other hand, hip is in at The Den. With décor inspired by the mischievous and

indulgent Saigon dens of a century past, our Den is a specialty bar; the trendy place

to be at night with a mood DJ serving up chill music while the bar dispenses greatdrinks for good times.

Meanwhile, back at The Village, indulgences include the French cafe and Chocolatier.

In addition to the best coffee in the region, chocoholics can enjoy all manner of

temptations, from beverages to confectionary. Nearby is the ice cream parlour, with

more than three dozen tempting avours. Or take the high road this once, and drop

into the healthy juice and snack bar for a conscious-free alternative. Seating at bothoutlets is inside and alfresco.







Vietnamese RestaurantNot only is the country of Vietnam taking centre stage as the new destination of

choice, the cuisine of Vietnam is also fast becoming popular the world over.

And at Six Senses Saigon River, the diversity of dishes can be enjoyed at the

Vietnamese Restaurant – the resort’s main dining outlet. Made up of several timber

and terracotta tiled buildings, the restaurant adds additional interest for dinerswith a display kitchen.

Located near the village square, it is an all-day outlet with breakfast and lunch

buffets in addition to a la carte fare. The mood is very casual, with seating

extending to lakeside daybeds. Several private houses are ideal for groups

and special gatherings.

Continuing the Vietnamese theme, is a Pho Noodle Shop, bringing the authentic

avours of street food in a bowl. Nearby, is an array of comestibles, cold cuts

and collations in the Deli shop.

In this same complex can be found the Main Bar. It is an inviting gathering place

at almost any time, with lounge seating and daybeds, offering a wide selection of

cocktails – hard and soft, a selection of beers or a glass or two of wine.

As much of the food and ingredients as possible are sourced from farms and

suppliers in the local region. Cooperatives of farmers grow organic vegetables,

fruit and salad for the resort, resulting in an exceptional quality of fresh produce.

Such practice signicantly reduces the environmental impact whilst on the other

hand creating a positive socio-economic impact.

The Organic Farmhouse, Mushroom and Rice Museum goes to the very core of

the resort’s environment and social commitment. Surrounded by a rice eld,

the organic garden is fully integrated in to the restaurant. Guests observe the

fresh ingredients being picked, then prepared to make favourite dishes.





Relaxation & Rejuvenation Close by to The Village sits the vast central swimming pool, which faces out to the river. The pool is elevated by four metres, and overlooks an informal all-day

restaurant and bar, which also provides poolside service. For sun lovers, this is an ideal spot from which to catch a few gentle rays whist lounging on the overstuffedterraced seating balconies.

At sunset, the vista presents a surreal picture postcard cocktail hour while decisions are made as to where to dine for the evening.

One choice is to stay right there and enjoy Cinema Paradiso. In the tradition of Soneva and many Six Senses resorts in the Maldives, Middle East and Thailand,

Cinema Paradiso is the movie experience that draws upon the 50’s and 60’s... with a twist: Classic movies shown on a large open-air screen beneath a canopy of

stars, and accompanied by cocktails of choice and perhaps some hot-buttered popcorn.

The twist is that, at Six Senses Saigon River, the screen oats on the central pool. It gives an extra dimension to an evening with Bacall and Bogie in Saigon.





For Youngsters Inspired by a ladybug, then conceptualised into this striking building by architects

and designers, this unique structure is the domain of younger guests and residents at

Six Senses Saigon River.

The facility features some of the world’s most creative experiences for kids, guided by

professional supervision. There is a computer room for visual arts and the latest

entertainment consoles. Cooking classes for budding cooks, a junior cinema and

craft builder wet room will keep visitors immersed for hours. An outdoor playgroundoffers opportunities to explore nature and work off some energy with a giant slide.An observation deck adds to imaginative play scenarios.
