My dear brothers and sisters,

Let us strive to be Muslims who are fully conscious of Allah. Let us become those who are aware of their duties and responsibilities, and perform them in the best possible manner, and refrain from all prohibitions and bad deeds. Let us continue to follow the footsteps of the Prophet s.a.w. in our search for successfulness and tranquility in this life.


“Verily we have directed the People of the Book before you, and you (o Muslims) to fear Allah. But if ye deny Him, lo! unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and Allah is free of all wants, worthy of all praise”. (The Women: 4)


From this verse, it can be understood that Allah said to all mankind especially Ahlul Kitab if they refuse to accept what Allah determine (the Prophethood of Muhammad), Allah Himself does not need anyone.


Our beloved Prophet Muhammad was chosen by Allah as the best role model in this world. As a Muslim we must believe Prophet Muhammad was sent down as a guidance for mankind to the right path.


Prophet Muhammad was born in the month of Rabi’ul Awwal. The word ربيع means the rain that bring life to the dry land.

Allah mentioned in the Quran: 107. We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. (The Prophet: 21)


Prophet himself celebrate his birthday by fasting on his birthday

As a Muslim if we receive good news we must show our happiness according to Islamic teaching as stated in Quran: 58. Say: "In the bounty of Allah. And in His Mercy, in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. (The Jonah: 10)


Every Monday, Prophet’s uncle Abu Lahab was lightly punished by Allah as throughout his times, he was extremely happy with the birth of Prophet. He also gave freedom to his slave.

There was many scholars who showed their happiness during Prophet birth including poets.

We can also find many poems about Prophet Muhammad and his beautiful moral conduct.


Not only man pray for Prophet Muhammad but Allah also pray for him as mentioned in the Quran: 4. And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character. (The Pen: 68)


Therefore, we must not only pray for our Prophet but we as a Muslim must follow the way of Prophet’s actions, speaks and silences. We must adapt all manners of our Prophet in order to get blessings from Allah

56. Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. (The Clans, The Coalition, The Combined Forces: 33)
