NURSE INTRAPRENEUR : Seorang perawat yang digaji untuk mengembangkan, meningkatkan dan menyediakan suatu program keperawatan/kesehatan yang inovatif atau suatu proyek dalam setting pelayanan kesehatan .

ENTEPRENEUR : Seorang individu yang mengganggap tanggung jawab total dan resiko untuk menemukan atau menciptakan kesempatan yang unik dengan menggunakan bakat pribadi, keterampilan dan energi dan menyiapkan suatu rencana proses strategik untuk mentransfer kesempatan menjadi sebuah layanan atau produk.
.NURSE ENTEPRENEUR adalah seorang pemilik bisnis yang menawarkan nursing services of direct care, educational, reseach, administrative atau consultative. Para perawat self-employed bertanggung jawab kepada klien, kepada siapa atau atas nama siapa pelayanan keperawatan disediakan.
Pada dasarnya nursing entepreneur meliputi perawat yang memiliki dan menjual produk atau jasa sebagai berikut :1. Nursing services,2. Health care products and devices: - Development - Assessment - Sale - Legal services, - health care/policy consultation, and - health care/policy publications
