Corporate Profile
Bangkok Bank yang didirikan pada tahun 1944 di
Bangkok, Thailand adalah bank komersial terbesar di
Thailand dan salah satu dari yang terbesar di Asia
Tenggara dengan total aset pada akhir 2013 sebesar THB
2,596,507,000,000.
Adapun struktur kepemilikan 10 (sepuluh) pemegang
saham terbesar Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited

Sampai akhir tahun 2013 Bangkok Bank telah memiliki
lebih dari 1,100 kantor cabang di Thailand dengan cabang
luar negeri dan jaringan kantor yang tersebar di: Cina,
Hongkong, Jepang, Laos, Filipina, Singapura, Taiwan,
Inggris, Birma, Amerika Serikat, Vietnam, Myanmar,
Malaysia dan Indonesia.
Bangkok Bank PCL Cabang Jakarta, berlokasi di Jl. MH
Thamrin No. 3, Jakarta 10110, beroperasi dengan ijin
usaha dari Menteri Keuangan Indonesia No. D.15.6.1.4.39
tanggal 21 Juni 1968, serta mendapat izin untuk beroperasi
sebagai Bank Devisa pada tanggal 22 Juni 1968 dengan
Surat Keputusan dari Direksi Bank Negara Indonesia
No.4/12/KEP.DIR.
Bank telah membuka 1 (satu) Kantor Cabang Pembantu di
kota Surabaya pada tanggal 29 Maret 2012 yang
beralamat di Jl Raya Darmo No 73, Surabaya, dengan Ijin
No 14/112/DPIP.

Bangkok Bank PCL Jakarta Branch, located at Jl.

license from Finance Minister of Republic
Indonesia No. D. 15.6.1.4.39 dated June 21, 1968
as a branch from Bangkok Bank PCL in Thailand.
Received the license to operate as foreign bank on
June 22, 1968 with the decree from Bank Indonesia
No. 4/12/KEP.DIR.
Bank has opened 1 (one) Branch Office in
Surabaya on March 29, 2012 located at Jl Raya

Pada tanggal 6 November 2013, dalam rangka perluasan
usaha, Bank telah membuka 1 (satu) Kantor Cabang
Pembantu di kota Medan yang terletak di B&G Tower,
Ground Floor, Jl Putri Hijau No. 10, Medan, dengan Ijin
No.15/231/DPIP.
Bank secara berkesinambungan meningkatkan total asset
dan kredit yang diberikan, memperbaiki manajemen kredit
macet, meningkatkan pendapatan, dan meningkatkan
efisiensi biaya dan terus membangun kebijakan usaha
yang selaras dengan rencana strategis bank Di tahun
mendatang, bank akan terus memajukan bisnis proses
yang efisien dan mengefisiensikan model organisasi
untuk meyakinkan bahwa seluruh bagian organisasi dapat
bekerja sama secara efisien dan harmonis.
On November 6, 2013, for the expansion of
business, the Bank has opened 1 (one) Branch
Office in Medan, located in the B & G Tower,
Ground Floor, Jalan Putri Hijau No. 10, Medan,
with permission No.15/231/DPIP.
The bank has continuously increased its total assets
and loans, and improved the management of non-
performing loans, of revenue, of costs efficiency
and the bank will create policies that are alligned
with its strategic plan.
In the coming year, the bank will continue to
improve the efficient business process and
organizational model to ensure that all parts of the
organization are working together efficiently in
harmony.

1. Ruang Lingkup Tata Kelola Perusahaan (GCG)
Sebagai pedoman bagi pelaksanaan Tata Kelola
Perusahaan, Bank telah mendeskripsikan peran
dan tanggung jawab Komite Manajemen dalam
pedoman Komite Manajemen bank. Seluruh aturan
internal lainnya yang ditetapkan didasarkan
dengan peraturan yang berlaku dan mengacu pada
pinsip-prinsip GCG.
Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, Bangkok Bank
Cabang Jakarta menjalankan Prinsip Good
Corporate Governance sebagai dasar agar dapat
mempertahankan pertumbuhannya. Bank juga
telah menyebarkan kebijakan tersebut kepada tim
manajemen, eksekutif, dan staf sebagai informasi
dan ketaatan akan peraturan. Bank juga telah
menugaskan setiap supervisor di semua tingkat
untuk menjadi contoh yang baik dan mendorong
agar kebijakan yang dibuat tersebut dipatuhi.
Dalam proses pengawasan operasional secara
internal, Bank telah membentuk Unit Kepatuhan
agar sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada di
Indonesia dan Bank Indonesia.
Penerapan Prinsip Good Corporate Governance di
Bangkok Bank dibagi menjadi 7 aspek cakupan
GCG beserta kepatuhan bank terhadap aspek-
aspek tersebut yang meliputi:
1.1 Kinerja Tugas dan Tanggung Jawab dari
Dewan Komisaris dan Direksi.
Bangkok Bank Cabang Jakarta adalah kantor
cabang dari Bangkok Bank, Thailand, oleh karena
itu Dewan Komisaris yang dikenal dengan nama
Non-Eksekutif Director bertempat di Kantor Pusat
Thailand. Dewan Komisaris bertangggung jawab
dalam penerapan prinsip Good Corporate
Governance dan mengawasi kebijakan dan arah
bisnis bank.
Dalam hubungannya dengan Bangkok Bank
kantor cabang Jakarta, International Banking
Group (IBG) yang berlokasi di Kantor Pusat
Bangkok, menjalankan fungsi pengawasan dari
Dewan Komisaris. Laporan fungsi pengawasan
dari IBG tersebut untuk melihat pada fungsi
Dewan Komisaris dalam mengevaluasi kinerja
manajemen kantor cabang Jakarta dan laporan
tersebut telah diterima setiap 3 bulan sekali.

BRANCH ACTIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH
THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD CORPORATE
GOVERNANCE FOR 2013.
1. Scope of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)
As guidance for Good Corporate Governance’s
implementation, Bank has already described role
and responsibilities of Manangement Committee in
the Management Committee guidelines. All other
internal regulations are based on the operative
regulation and referring to GCG principles.
The Bank, therefore conducts its business in-line
with the principles of Good Corporate Governance,
which form a basis for sustainable growth. The bank
has disseminated the policy to its management team,
executives and staff for their knowledge and
observance and has also assigned supervisors at all
level to encourage good example as well as
compliance with the policy.
The bank has established a Compliance Unit to
oversee its internal operations to be in compliance
with the regulation of the local authorities and Bank
Indonesia.
There are 7 (seven) Good Corporate Governance
aspects which reflect the implementation of bank’s
Good Corporate Governance including bank
compliance toward to each aspect as follows:
1.1 Performance of duties and responsibilities of
Board of Commissioners and Board of
Directors.

Bangkok Bank, Jakarta branch is a branch
office of Bangkok Bank, Thailand, therefore Board
of Commissioners who is known as Non- Executive
Directors are domiciled at Bangkok Head Office,
Thailand. This Board of Commissioners assumes
responsibility for the implementation of Good
Corporate Governance and oversees the business
policy and direction of the bank.
For Bangkok Bank, Jakarta branch in this matter,
the International Banking Group (IBG) domiciled at
Bangkok, Head Office, is closely conducting the
oversight role function of Board of Commissioners.

Sementara itu, Direksi atau Pimpinan
Bangkok Bank Cabang Jakarta yang dipimpin
oleh General Manager dan wakil General Manager
serta Direktur Kepatuhan. Pimpinan kantor akan
memimpin Komite Manajemen yang bertanggung
jawab atas pembentukan dan pelaksanaan atas
sasaran strategis dan keuangan dari Bank dan juga
mengkaji ulang serta mendiskusikan masalah
yang berhubungan dengan operasional bank.
Komite Manajemen Cabang juga bertanggung
jawab untuk mengawasi:
a. Audit Internal dan Unit Control untuk
memastikan pelaksanaan fungsi internal audit
dan mengambil tindakan berdasarkan pada
temuan-temuan dari audit internal.
b. Fungsi Unit Manajemen Risiko adalah untuk
pertanggungjawaban dalam rangka
pengembangan, pengukuran dan pemeliharaan
kerangka kerja manajemen risiko.
c. Unit Kepatuhan untuk mengawasi penerapan
praktek good corporate governance dan
memastikan kepatuhan bank terhadap peraturan
dan hukum yang berlaku.
1.2. Struktur, Keanggotaan, Tugas dan
Tanggung Jawab Komite
Di Kantor Pusat Bangkok Bank, Thailand,
komite-komite tersebut telah diatur untuk
memonitor dan mengawasi operasional bank dan
melaporkan kemajuan yang terjadi ke Non-
Executive Direksi secara periodik. Komite-komite
ini terdiri dari Komite Audit, Komite Nominasi
dan Remunerasi, Komite Risk Monitoring, dan
Komite Manajemen.
Sementara itu Bangkok Bank Kantor
Cabang Jakarta, sebagai kantor cabang bank
asing tidak diharuskan untuk membentuk komite
tersebut sejak Dewan Direksi di Kantor Pusat telah
membentuknya.
Bagaimanapun di kantor pusat fungsi dari
tiap komite-komite tersebut telah diterapkan
dengan baik dan dibawah kontrol International
Banking Group (IBG) untuk mengawasi kinerja
manajemen dari kantor cabang Jakarta. Dan
laporan fungsi pengawasan dari International
Banking Group (IBG) juga telah diterima oleh
kantor cabang Jakarta setiap 3 bulan sekali.
Meanwhile, Board of Director or called Branch
Management (Pimpinan) of Bangkok Bank
Indonesia who is chaired by General Manager, and
Deputy General Manager and Compliance Director.
The Branch Management or Pimpinan shall lead the
Branch Management Committee who is responsible
for the formulation and execution of strategies and
financial objectives of the bank as well as reviewing
and discussing matters related to banking operation.
The Branch management is also responsible for
supervising:
a. Internal Audit and Control Unit for ensuring
the execution of internal audit function and taking
action based on regular internal audit findings.
b. Risk Management Unit function is to take
overall accountability for the development,
measurement and maintenance of the bank’s risk
management framework.
c. Compliance Unit for overseeing the
implementation of good corporate governance
practices and ensuring bank’s compliance with
the prevailing laws and regulations.
1.2 Structures, Membership, Duties and
Responsibilities of the Committees.
In Bangkok Bank- Head Office, Thailand, the
committees have been set up to closely monitor and
oversee the bank’s operation and report the progress
to the Non- Executive Board of Directors on a
regular basis. These committees include the Audit
Committee, Nomination and Remuneration
Committee, Risk Monitoring Committee and
Management Committee.
Meanwhile, Bangkok Bank, Jakarta branch as
foreign branch office in this regard does not have to
form such committees since Board of Directors at
Head Office has established them.
However, the functions of such committees
have properly implemented in Head Office and it
has been conducted under International Banking
Group (IBG) to oversee the Jakarta’s branch
management performance in respective committee
function. The oversight function report from
International Banking Group (IBG) has also been
received by Jakarta branch on quarterly basis.

Fungsi dari masing-masing komite itu dapat
dideskripsikan sebagai berikut:
Komite Audit bertugas untuk membantu
Dewan Komisaris dalam proses audit laporan
keuangan, internal control dan audit, dan
pemilihan dan penunjukkan eksternal audit
bank.
Komite Risk Monitoring bertugas untuk
mengawasi dan memastikan profil manajemen
risiko bank apakah sudah cukup memadai,
sistematis, efisien, efektif dan
memaksimalkan nilai terhadap kinerja bank,
dan juga apakah sudah sejalan dengan rencana
strategis bank dan kebijakan manajemen
risiko secara keseluruhan.
Komite Nominasi dan Remunerasi bertugas
untuk memilih dan menunjuk orang yang
tepat untuk posisi pekerjaan yang ditentukan
dan juga untuk mengevaluasi kinerja secara
individu, dan kebijakan penggajian dan paket
benefit yang diterima oleh level eksekutif dan
staffnya.
Kinerja semua komite diatas telah diterapkan
dengan baik di Kantor Pusat.
Sedangkan penerapan strategi dan rencana bisnis
Bangkok Bank Indonesia diatur oleh komite
sebagai berikut:
a. Komite Manajemen
Untuk memastikan efisiensi kinerja bank yang
mencakup penelahaan secara periodik,
pengarahan operasional bank, kebijakan,
strategi, ALMA dan juga masalah
kepegawaian serta bagian umum yang akan
dibicarakan di dalam komite.
Komite Manajemen diketuai oleh General
Manager selaku Pimpinan Cabang dan 3 (tiga)
Deputy General Manager selaku wakil, yang
dibantu oleh :
- Head of Treasury
- Head of Operation
- Head of Compliance
- Head of Risk Management
- Head of Internal Audit
- Head of Marketing
- Head of Budget&Planning
Pertemuan rutin Komite Manajemen
dilakukan minimal 1 (satu) kali dalam satu
bulan, dan hasil pertemuan dicatat dalam
notulen yang diedarkan kepada anggota
komite dan disampaikan kepada IBG Kantor
Pusat.
The function of each committee can be
described as follows:
The objectives of the Audit Committee are to
assist the Board of Commissioners with regard
to process audit of financial reports, internal
control and internal audit and to select and
appoint the bank’s external auditors.
The objective of Risk Monitoring Committee is
to oversee and ensure that bank’s management
risk profile is adequate, systematic, efficient,
and effective and maximizes value to the bank
and is also to be in-line with the bank’s
strategic plan and overall risk management
policy.
The objective of Nomination and Remuneration
Committee is to select and nominate suitable
persons for appointment job position as well as
to evaluate individual performance and policy
of remuneration or benefit package for
executive level and its staffs.
All performance of committees above has already
been properly implemented in Head Office.
However, in implementing the strategic and
business plan of the bank, Bangkok Bank Indonesia
is managed under following committees:
a. Management Committee
To ensure proper and efficient running of the
entire operation covering periodical review and
directions of bank operation, policy, and
strategy, ALMA as well as personnel and
general affairs matters.
Management Committee is chaired by the
General Manager as Branch Manager and three
(3) Deputy General Manager as representative,
who is assisted by:
- Head of Treasury
- Head of Operation
- Head of Compliance
- Head of Risk Management
- Head of Internal Audit
- Head of Marketing
- Head of Budget & Planning
Management Committee conducted regular
meetings at least 1 (one) time in a month and
the results are recorded in the minutes of the
meeting circulated to committee members and
submitted to Headquarters IBG.

b. Komite Kredit
Komite ini bertanggung jawab untuk
mengakses dan mempertimbangkan semua
portfolio bank, yang tercakup di dalamnya
nasabah kredit lancar maupun pinjaman kredit
bermasalah.
Komite kredit akan bertemu secara periodik
untuk menelaah dan mendiskusikan aktivitas
dari aplikasi kredit yang masuk, suku bunga
kredit, dan strategi marketingnya.
Fungsi dari Komite Kredit adalah
bertanggung jawab untuk menyetujui atau
menolak, merekomendasi aplikasi kredit
berdasarkan kewenangan kantor cabang.
Pertemuan rutin Komite kredit diadakan
setiap 2 minggu sekali atau disesuaikan
dengan kebutuhan dan hasil pertemuan dicatat
dalam notulen yang diedarkan kepada anggota
komite dan disampaikan kepada IBG Kantor
Pusat.
Komite Kredit diketuai oleh General Manager
selaku Pimpinan Cabang dan 3 (tiga) Deputy
General Manager selaku wakil, yang dibantu
oleh :
- Head of Marketing
- Head of Treasury
- Head of Operation
- Head of Compliance (non-voting)
- Head of Risk Management (non-voting)
- Head of Internal Audit (non-voting)
c. Komite Manajemen Risiko
Komite ini bertanggung jawab untuk
mengawasi penerapan kerangka kerja dan
strategi majemen risiko, komposisi risiko dari
setiap tipe risiko itu dan juga memeriksa
secara periodik prosedur dari manajemen
risiko.
Bangkok Bank Indonesia menggunakan
peringkat kredit yang handal sebelum
menyetujui semua kredit baru ataupun
perpanjangan fasilitas kredit. Penilaian ini
menjadi alat yang penting bagi manajemen
risiko kredit dan digunakan sebagai standar
underwritting dan juga panduan penetapan
harga.
Komite Manajemen Risiko diketuai oleh
Deputy General Manager bidang Operation
dan dibantu oleh 2 Deputy General Manager,
sedangkan General Manager diundang dan
hadir dalam pertemuan rutin Komite
Maagemen Risiko,
b. Loan Committee
This committee is responsible to assess and
consider all banks’ portfolio, which include
active and non-performing loan accounts.
The Loan Committee will meet periodically to
review and discuss the following activities of
loan application, loan pricing and marketing
strategies.
The Loan Committee responsibility and
function is to approve or reject, recommend or
decline credit application according to branch
authorization.
The routine meetings are held in every two
weeks or more often to match with the
requirement and the results recorded in the
minutes of the meeting circulated to committee
members and submitted to Headquarters IBG.
Credit Committee is chaired by the General
Manager as Branch Manager and three (3)
Deputy General Manager as representative,
who is assisted by:
- Head of Marketing
- Head of Treasury
- Head of Operation
- Head of Compliance (non-voting)
- Head of Risk Management (non-voting)
- Head of Internal Audit (non-voting)
c. Risk Management Committee
This committee is responsible to monitor the
implementation of risk management framework
and strategy, composition of risk for each type
of risks as well as periodically review on risk
management procedure. Bangkok Bank
Indonesia requires a valid credit rating prior
approval of any new or renewed credit facility.
Rating is one of the most important tools of
credit risk management and used in the
underwriting standards as well as in pricing
guidelines.
The Risk Management Committee is chaired by
the Deputy General Manager of Operations and
assisted by two Deputy General Manager,
meanwhile General Manager please invited in
the Risk Management Committee meeting.

Komite ini bertanggungjawab untuk mengatur

melaksanakan tanggungjawab tersebut,
Komite ALCO melakukan langkah-langkah
sebagai berikut :
a. Memformulasikan dan memantai
penerapan strategi ALMA sesuai dengan
rencana bisnis Bank.
b. Memantau penetapan strategi harga untuk
memastikan hasil optimum, mengurangi
biaya penggunaan dana, dan menjaga
keseimbangan neraca keuangan Bank.
c. Mengevaluasi posisi risiko suku bunga
bank dimana harus konsisten dengan
manajemen risiko suku bunga
d. Berkoordinasi dengan Departemen
Treasuri Kantor Pusat dan Overseas
Treasury Center (OTC) dalam melakukan
manajemen aset dan liabilitas Bank.

c. Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO)
This committee is responsible for managing the
performance of assets - assets and liabilities
held by the Bank ( ALMA ) . In carrying out
these responsibilities, ALCO Committee
perform the following steps :
1. Formulating and monitoring the
implementation of the strategy ALMA
accordance with the Bank's business plan.
2. Monitor price -setting strategies to ensure
optimum results , reduce the financing cost ,
and maintaining the balance of the Bank 's
balance sheet
3. Evaluate the bank's interest rate risk position
which must be consistent with the interest rate
risk management
4. Coordinate with Treasury Department
Headquarters and Overseas Treasury Center (
OTC ) in managing the assets and liabilities of
the Bank.

kualitas/kategori Kurang Lancar (2) hingga
Macet (5).
Komite Kredit Bermasalah diketuai oleh

Memastikan komitmen bank yang dibuat
kepada Bank Indonesia telah dipenuhi secara
tepat waktu. Satuan Kerja Kepatuhan telah
melaporkan pelaksanaan tugas dan tanggung
jawabnya kepada manajemen bank secara
triwulanan.
Satuan Kerja Kepatuhan juga memastikan
bahwa tindakan yang memadai telah
dilaksanakan guna mencegah terjadinya risiko

The frequency of meetings has been done by each
committee during 2013 are as follows:
1.3 Performance of Compliance functions,
internal audit and external audit.
Compliance unit has been established to assist
the management in overseeing its internal
operation so as to be in compliance with the
regulation of authorities.
The compliance unit has the responsibility in
coordinating with operation units and colleting
the information for the availability and updating
of work guidelines.
The compliance function shall have
independence and work closely with
management and staff in various business units.
BI regulations and prevailing laws have been
socialized to the relevant units and also been
discussed in the Management Committee
meeting, especially for regulations which have
significant impact to the operations, business
and strategy of the bank.
Ensuring the bank’s commitments made to
Bank Indonesia has been rectified in timely
manner.
Compliance unit also ensures that appropriate
action has been taken to prevent the potential

Satuan Kerja Kepatuhan akan terus
melakukan sosialisasi kepada unit bisnis
terkait untuk meyakinkan efektifitas
tugasnya.
Internal audit bank (SKAI) telah menyusun
rencana audit operasional dan setiap tahun
memeriksa semua unit bisnis berdasarkan
jadwal rencana auditnya.
Untuk tahun 2013 SKAI telah melakukan
fungsi kerjanya dengan independen dan
objektif.
Pada saat melakukan fungsi kerjanya, SKAI
telah mengevaluasi efisiensi dan keefektifan
internal kontrol bank dan kepatuhan pada
perundangan-undangan yang berlaku dan
peraturan Bank Indonesia.
Semua hasil temuan audit telah dilaporkan ke
manajemen kantor cabang dan divisi internal
audit kontrol Kantor Pusat dan informasi
rekomendasi audit akan disebarkan ke unit
bisnis yang bersangkutan untuk dilakukan
tindakan perbaikan selanjutnya.
Internal Audit (SKAI) juga mengawasi dan
mengikuti kemajuan perkembangan dan
perbaikan yang dibuat oleh unit bisnis yang
terlibat.
Internal Audit (SKAI) juga akan melakukan
pemeriksaan tahunan mengenai kecukupan
keamanan audit dan pengawasan internal dari
BI-RTGS dan Sistem Kliring Nasional Bank
Indonesia (SKNBI) apakah telah mematuhi
peraturan yang berlaku.
Setiap 3 tahun, Audit Eksternal Independen
ditunjuk untuk memeriksa keefektifan kinerja
dari SKAI termasuk kaji ulang atas fungsi
internal audit atas penggunaan Teknologi
Informasi. Pemeriksaan terakhir yaitu pada
bulan Mei 2011 dengan hasil yang cukup
memadai. Sedangkan pemeriksaan Audit
Eksternal Independen terhadap kinerja SKAI
akan jatuh-tempo pada bulan September 2014,
paling lambat. Bank telah menunjuk KAP J.
Tanzil untuk melakukan pemeriksaan
terhadap kinerja SKAI.
Sementara itu, untuk laporan eksternal audit
tahunan dan persiapan laporan tahunan, bank
telah menunjuk akuntan publik independen
yang terdaftar dalam list Bank Indonesia yang
bisa melakukan audit.
Penetapan kerja audit dari akuntan publik
meliputi kapasitas dari kantor akuntan publik,
bidang kerja audit, dan profesionalisme
pemeriksa.
Penunjukan akuntan publik untuk melakukan
basis.
Compliance unit and AML (UKK) officer are
also in control of Know Your Customer and
Anti-Money Laundering implementation
pursuant to regulation. In the effort to better
understanding for implementation of KYC/ and
AML, the compliance unit would continuously
perform socialization to relevant business unit
ensuring effectiveness of duty.

Banks’ Internal audit (SKAI) has already
arranged the operational audit plan and has
annually reviewed to all business units
according to its audit-planning schedule.
For year 2013, the bank’s SKAI has performed
its function independently and objectively.
In performing its audit function, SKAI has
conducted and evaluated toward the efficiency
and effectiveness of the bank’s internal control
and compliance to the prevailing laws and Bank
Indonesia regulations.
All audit findings have been reported to branch
management and internal audit control and
division – Head Office and disseminate its audit
recommendation to the business unit concerned
for further action to be taken.
Internal audit (SKAI) has also monitored and
followed up the progress development and
improvement made by business units involved.
Internal audit (SKAI) has also performed
annual review on the adequacy of security audit
and internal review for BI-RTGS and National
Clearing System (SKNBI) in order to be in
compliance with the regulation.
Every 3 (three) years, an Independent External
Reviewer/Auditor is appointed to review the
effectiveness of SKAI work performance
including review on internal audit function on
Information Technology use. The last review
was in May 2011 with satisfactory result. While
the External Audit examination to SKAI
performance is no later than September 2014.
Bank has appointed J. Tanzil external auditor to
conduct work performance examination on
Bank’s Internal Audit.
Meanwhile, for annual external audit
performance and preparing financial report,
bank has appointed independent public
accountant that registered under Bank
Indonesia’s approved list to conduct an audit.
The assignment of audit work to public
accountant covers the capacity of the assigned
public accountant firm, scope of audit work and
professionalism of the auditor.

1.4. Kinerja Manajemen Risiko dan Fungsi
Internal Kontrol.
Fungsi Manajemen Risiko bank mempunyai
tanggung jawab untuk berbagai macam aspek
risiko mencakup kredit, pasar, likuiditas,
operasional, legal, strategi, reputasi, dan risiko
kepatuhan dari bank.
Secara umum, manajemen kantor cabang telah
aktif memonitor dan mengawasi kebijakan
dan prosedur serta pengaturan limit untuk
setiap jenis risiko guna memelihara kondisi
manajemen risiko internal bank yang baik.
Unit Manajemen Risiko secara periodik
menyampaikan laporan profil risiko bank
setiap 3 bulan sekali dalam rangka
menganalisa dan mengatur kecukupan dari
setiap risiko.
Laporan tiga bulanan profil risiko bank telah
diajukan ke Bank Indonesia secara tepat
waktu.
Unit Manajemen Risiko juga telah secara
periodik menyampaikan laporan anti fraud
setiap 6 bulan sekali dalam rangka memantau
dan melakukan pencegahan risiko kejadian
fraud.
Laporan enam bulanan anti fraud bank telah
disampaikan ke Bank Indonesia secara tepat
waktu.
Unit Manajemen Risiko juga telah
mengadopsi model perhitungan Pendapatan
Bunga Bersih (NII) dan model Nilai Modal
Ekonomis (EVE) dari kantor regional Hong
Kong guna memonitor risiko suku bunga
sehubungan dengan risiko pasar. Unit
Manajemen Risiko juga telah melakukan
stress testing untuk risiko pasar, risiko
liquidity dan risiko foreign exchange serta
melakukan verifikasi terhadap kertas kerja
laporan bulanan risiko operasional dan
disamping itu juga memonitor posisi harian
dan limit-limit serta membuat laporan bulanan
analisa kredit portfolio.

1.4 Performance of Risk Management and
Internal Control Function.
The risk management function of the bank has
responsibility for various risk aspects covering
of credit, market, liquidity, and operational,
legal, strategic, reputation and compliance risks
of the bank.
In general, branch management has actively
monitored and supervised the policy and
procedure as well as limit arrangement type of
each risk in order to maintain the soundness of
bank internal risk management condition.
Risk management unit has periodically
submitted the bank’s risk profile reports on
quarterly basis for analyzing and managing the
adequacy of each risk.
This quarterly bank’s risk profile has been
timely submitted to Bank Indonesia.
Risk management unit has periodically
submitted the bank’s anti fraud reports on semi
annually basis for monitoring and conduct fraud
prevention.
This semi annually bank’s anti fraud report has
been timely submitted to Bank Indonesia.
Risk management unit has adopted the Net
Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of
Equity (EVE) models from Hong Kong regional
office for monitoring interest rate risk relating
to market risk. RMU has also performed
general stress stesting for market risk, liquidity
risk and foreign exchange risk as well as
verification to monthly operational risk self
assessment report, besides monitoring daily
position and limit as well as providing monthly
portfolio credit analysis.

1.5 Prinsip Kehati-hatian dalam Pemberian
Kredit kepada Pihak-Terkait dan Grup
Debitur Besar.
Bank tidak diperbolehkan masuk ke dalam
suatu kondisi atau perjanjian dimana bank
diharuskan memberikan dana yang melanggar
BMPK (Batas Minimum Pemberian Kredit)
dan batas pemberian fasilitas kredit.
Berdasarkan Peraturan Bank Indonesia
pemberian kredit kepada pihak-terkait dan
atau kelompok debitur besar masing-masing
tidak boleh melebihi 10% dan 25% dari modal
bank. Tidak ada pelanggaran BMPK kepada
kelompok debitur besar dan pihak-terkait.
Semua keputusan pemberian kredit harus
disetujui oleh komite kredit yang para
anggotanya akan memeriksa dan memberi
komentar atas masalah yang ada di aplikasi
kredit.
Bank telah mengkinikan internal limit guna
memonitor terjadinya pelampauan BMPK.
Selama penilaian aplikasi kredit, account
officer harus memeriksa latar belakang profil
perusahaan dan manajemennya, dan juga
informasi yang relevan menurut faktor-faktor
yang diperhitungkan mengenai pihak-terkait
dan grup debitur.

1,6 Rencana Strategi Bisnis Bank
Target Jangka Pendek 1 tahun, menurut misi
dan visi bank.
Untuk tahun 2014, Bank merencanakan untuk
peningkatan atas portfolio pinjamanya sekitar
30% dibandingkan dengan saldo pinjaman pada
akhir 2013. Penambahan ini dikontribusi oleh
debitur baru and juga peningkatan pinjaman
bagi debitur lama. Dengan ini, di tahun 2013,
bank tetap berfokus pada prudent banking
principle untuk menjaga kualitas kredit nasabah
yang ada.
Sedangkan untuk kredit bermasalah (NPL)
masih di bawah ketentuan di tahun 2013.
Dalam hal penanganan kredit bermasalah
(NPL), bank tetap memberikan perhatian khusus

Related-parties and in Large-exposures.
The bank is prohibited to enter into condition or
agreement that obligate bank to provide fund,
which will violate the LLL and credit facility

Fund provision to Related- party and /or in

1.6 Bank’s strategic business plan
Short Term Target 1 year, according to the
bank's mission and vision.
For the year 2014, Bank plans to increase its
loan portfolio approximately 30% compared to
the loan balance at the end of 2013. This
increase due to new debtor and also the loans
increase to existing borrowers. Thus, in 2013,
Bank remains focused on prudent banking
principle to maintain the credit quality of
existing customers.
As for non-performing loans (NPLs) are still
under the provisions in the year 2013.
In terms of handling non-performing loans
(NPL), Bank still pays special attention to lower

untuk menurunkan saldo rekening kredit
bermasalah. Hal yang telah dilakukan bank
dalam usaha penurunan rasio kredit bermasalah
yaitu dengan melakukan eksekusi agunan dan
arus kas nasabah.
Dilain hal, guna mendukung pertumbuhan
kredit, bank merencanakan meningkatkan
pertumbuhan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) melalui
Cabang Jakarta dan Cabang Pembantu Surabaya
dan Medan.
Di tahun 2014, bank memproyeksikan
peningkatan pendapatan bunga bersih
dibandingkan tahun 2013. Untuk mencapai
tujuan ini, bank akan menerapkan 3 strategi
kunci dengan peran aktif para pihak baik di
cabang Jakarta serta cabang pembantu Surabaya
dan Medan sebagai berikut:
Pertama, mendukung usaha debitur-debitur yang
memiliki sikap Good Corporate Governance
(GCG). Dalam hal ini bank secara tidak
langsung dapat melaksanakan prudential
banking principle, karena kecenderungan
perusahaan yang memiliki good corporate
governance akan lebih transparan, sehingga
bank dapat secara layak memantau
perkembangan usaha nasabah terkait.
Kedua, penambahan declared dana usaha dan
modal disetor guna mendukung kelanjutan dari
rencana pertumbuhan portofolio kredit untuk
mencapai target pinjaman untuk nasabah.
Ketiga, kerja sama antara team marketing
dengan bagian treasury untuk meyakinkan
nasabah-nasabah kredit dan deposito untuk
melalukan penempatan dananya pada bank
dengan diberikan bunga yang menarik, sehingga
bank tetap dapat terus memperoleh sumber
pendanaan yang berkesinambungan dengan
peningkatan kredit
Keempat, bank mendukung usaha dari nasabah-
nasabah yang mempunyai proyek terkait dengan
pelayanan (services) dan produksi baik untuk
orientasi pasar lokal dan ekspor.
Selain Kantor Cabang Jakarta dan Cabang
Pembantu Surabaya, Bank juga telah membuka
Cabang Pembantu di Medan yang mulai
beroperasi pada tanggal 6 November 2013.
Dengan ini diharapkan bank juga dapat
melayani secara efektif nasabah yang berlokasi
di wilayah Indonesia bagian barat.

achieve this goal, Bank will implement three
key strategies with the active participation of
both parties in Jakarta branch and sub-branch of
Surabaya and Medan as follows:
First, it supports business of borrowers who
have the attitude of Good Corporate
Governance (GCG). In this case the bank could
indirectly implement prudential banking
principle, due to the tendency of companies that
have good corporate governance will be more
transparent, so that the bank can properly
monitor the development of the customer's
business related.
Second, the addition of declared working
capital and paid up capital to support the
continuation of the loan portfolio growth plan
to achieve the target of lending to customers.
Third, cooperation between the marketing team
and treasury unit to ensure loan and deposit
clients to place its fund in bank by providing
competitive interest, so that banks can continue
to obtain sustainable funding source to credit
enhancement
Fourth, the bank supports the efforts of clients
who have service-related projects (services) and
good production for the local market and export
orientation.

Pada tahun 2014, Bank berencana meluncurkan
beberapa aktifitas dan layanan baru sebagai
berikut:
Internet Banking yang diharapkan dapat
memberi nilai tambah bagi layanan bank ke
nasabah, dan di dalam layanan ini akan
meliputi layanan cek saldo, pembayaran dan
aktifitas export-import.
Bank Payment Obligation (BPO) yang
merupakan layanan menyangkut hal verifikasi
atas informasi transaksi nasabah Trade
Finance seperti Transaksi LC. Layanan ini di
harapkan dapat memberikan nilai tambah bagi
nasabah dalam hal efisiensi dan akurasi atas
informasi transaksi.

Selain itu, direncanakan pada tahun 2014,
seorang Deputy General Manager (DGM) akan
bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank cabang
Jakarta guna melakukan supervisi dan
mengembangkan kantor cabang Pembantu
Surabaya dan Medan, Peran dari DGM baru ini
adalah untuk membantu General Manager (GM)
dalam pengembangan bisnis bank ke depan.
Selain itu, direncanakan akan adanya satuan
Japanese Desk di kantor Cabang Jakarta yang di
kepalai oleh seorang tenaga asing dengan
jabatan advisory guna memberikan pelayanan
bagi nasabah Jepang yang di perkenalkan oleh
kantor pusat. Diharapkan, Japanese Desk akan
dapat memberikan kontribusi yang cukup berarti
bagi portfolio pinjaman bagi Bank.
Sebagai kesimpulan, strategi bank adalah
mendukung perbankan di Indonesia yaitu
memberikan pinjaman kepada sektor korporasi
dengan tujuan untuk mempertahankan
pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia di tahun 2014
dan mendatang. Dalam hal ini bank akan
mendukung nasabah yang membutuhkan
pinjaman investasi dan pendanaan atas export-
import.
Sedangkan untuk sumber pendanaan, bank
merencanakan untuk terus menggunakan dana
pihak ketiga, dana dari kantor pusat dalam
bentuk Dana Usaha dan modal disetor untuk
dapat di salurkan dalam bentuk pinjaman bagi
korporasi dan UMKM. Di tahun 2014, bank
berencana untuk menambah Modal Disetor
setara USD 150 Juta dan mendapatkan
tambahan Dana Usaha baru sebesar USD 150
Juta yang akan digunakan untuk terus
mendukung kebutuhan pinjaman pada nasabah

Capital amount of USD 150 Million and
Working Capital amount of USD 150 Million
that will be used to continue to support the
borrowing needs of the customers in Rupiah

Dalam hal pemindahan Data Center (DC), Bank

mempersiapkan pemindahan Data Center dan
Data Recovery Center kembali ke wilayah
Indonesia dalam jangka waktu 4(empat) tahun
ke depan, sesuai dengan implementasi Peraturan
Pemerintah no.82 tahun 2012 tertanggal 12
Oktober 2012 tentang penyelenggaraan sistem
dan transaksi elektronik. Dalam hal ini bank
akan mempersiapkan infrastruktur internal dan
sumber daya manusia yang memadai guna
pemindahaan tersebut dapat terealisasi.
Target Jangka Menengah (3 tahun) sesuai
dengan misi dan visi bank.
Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini, bank telah
mencapai kinerja keuangan yang positif sesuai
pertumbuhan organik. Bank juga bekerja sama
dengan nasabah-nasabah utama dan kelompok
nasabah dalam rangka pengembangan
aktivitasnya didalam industri perbankan.
Ada 4 strategi kunci untuk mendukung target
kami, seperti:
1. Secara keuangan, bank akan tetap berusaha
untuk melaksanakan prudent banking, serta
tetap memelihara stabilitas jangka
menengah dan panjang dari pertumbuhan
aktiva dan modal dan pendapatan.
2. Dalam hal pendekatan pada pasar /
nasabah, bank akan terus berusaha
meningkatan dana pihak dari individual dan
perusahaan.
3. Meningkatkan pelayanan kepada nasabah
melalui pelatihan staff dan pengembangan
keahlian.
4. Bank akan terus memonitor kinerja
keuangan bank, sehingga bank dapat
mengkaji ulang dengan langkah-langkah
untuk memperbaiki kinerja dan strategi.

Bangkok Bank, Jakarta branch does not have Board
of Commissioner in the branch office, therefore

The Bank is always excerted effort ensuring full
attention to prudential banking.

During 2013, there was no transaction that poses
conflict of interest that occurs in our branch.
Bank will not prescribe special condition for
connected transaction in favors of management
involved. The credit committee has been formed to
manage and monitor the credit facilities will be
given and already given to borrower and there shall
be no single authority in granting credit facilities.
Bank has implemented good practices for dual
control authorization level requirement on any
transactions as well as segregation of task.

II. Good Corporate Governance Self – assessment
As a commitment to meet the Bank Indonesia Regulation
No.8/4/PBI/2006 dated January 30, 2006 as amended by

29th No.15/15/DPNP April 2013 concerning the
implementation of Good Corporate Governance for
Banks, the Bangkok Bank routinely perform self
assessment has been conducted in a comprehensive and

Bank secara rutin telah melakukan Self Assessment
yang dilakukan secara komprehensif dan
terstruktur dengan mengintegrasikan faktor-faktor
penilaian ke dalam 3 (tiga) aspek governance,
yaitu governance structure, governance process,
dan governance outcome.
Penilaian Good Corporate Governance Bank telah
dikaji ulang secara periodik dan dinilai setidaknya
setiap semester. Hasil penilaian Good Corporate
Governance bank merupakan bagian terintegrasi
dari laporan penerapan Good Corporate
Governance.
Pelaksanaan prinsip Good Corporate Governance
(GCG) Bangkok Bank cabang Jakarta telah
berlandaskan pada 5 prinsip dasar yang telah
dipatuhi dan penilaian kecukupan dan efektivitas
pelaksanaan prinsip GCG dilakukan secara
komprehensif dan terstruktur atas ketiga aspek
governance, yaitu governance structure,
governance process dan governance outcome.
Dari penilaian sendiri atas pelaksanaan GCG,
berikut adalah aspek pada GCG yaitu :
a. Governance Structure
Bank telah memiliki kecukupan struktur tata
kelola dalam proses pelaksanaan prinsip GCG
dimana komposisi anggota manajemen Bank telah
sesuai dengan ketentuan kompleksitas dan skala
bisnis usaha Bank. Mayoritas anggota manajemen
Bank memiliki pengalaman di bidang operasional
perbankan.
Bank telah membentuk fungsi kepatuhan, SKAI
dan SKMR yang independent dari satuan kerja
operation dan Bank juga telah memiliki
infrastruktur yang memadai dalam bentuk SDM,
IT, jaringan kantor, kebijakan dan prosedur dalam
menerapkan prinsip GCG dan didukung openuh
oleh yang didukung penuh oleh IBG kantor pusat
yang menjalankan fungsi selaku Dewan komisaris.
Adapun fungsi dewan komisaris dan komite-
komite dilakukan oleh IBG, Kantor Pusat terhadap
kinerja kantor cabang Jakarta yang hasilnya
berupa laporan pengawasan dari IBG yang dikirim
secara berkala tiap 3 bulan kepada kantor cabang
Bangkok Bank Jakarta. Guna mendukung
transparansi, Bank telah memiliki local website
yang memuat informasi finansial dan non finansial
serta produk perbankan yang dimiliki.
Terkait implementasi prinsip kepatuhan, Bank
senantiaa mensosialisasikan kepada seluruh
jenjang dalam Bank tentang ketentuan-ketentuan
structured to integrate the assessment factors into three
(3) aspects of governance, ie governance structure,
governance, process, and governance outcome.
Assessment of Good Corporate Governance Bank has
periodically reviewed and assessed at least every
semester. The assessment result of good corporate
governance of banks is an integrated part of the
implementation of good corporate governance report.
Implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG)
Bangkok Bank Jakarta branch has been based on five
basic principles that have been followed and the
assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the
implementation of corporate governance principles to be
comprehensive and structured of the three aspects of
governance, ie governance structure, governance and
process governance outcomes.
Self-assessment for the implementation of good
corporate governance, the following are aspects of the
GCG namely:
1. Governance Structure
The Bank has adequate governance structures in the
implementation of corporate governance principles in
which the composition of the Bank's management in
accordance with the terms of the complexity and scale of
the Bank's business. The majority of members of the
Bank's management have experience in banking
operations.
Bank has established a compliance function, Internal
Audit and Risk Management independent from
operations unit and the Bank has adequate infrastructure
in the form of HR, IT, office networks, policies and
procedures in applying the principles of good corporate
governance and is fully supported by IBG headquarters
which perform the function as the Board of
Commissioner. The functions of the board of
commissioners and committees made by IBG, to assess
performance of the Jakarta branch office which results in
monitoring reports which sent periodically every 3
months to the Bangkok Bank branch office in Jakarta. In
order to support transparency, the Bank has a local
website that contains financial and non financial
information and bank owned products.
Related to the implementation of the principle of
compliance, Bank always disseminates about the new
provisions, the precautionary principle, the principle of

baru, prinsip kehati-hatian, prinsip manajemen
risiko, budaya kepatuhan, pengendalian internal.
Manajemen mendukung penuh proses yang
menjamin implementasi GCG dalam Bank.
Selain itu, kantor pusat Bangkok Bank mendukung
penuh rencana bisnis Bank dalam rangka
peningkatan pertumbuhan kredit portfolio dan
penambahan modal disetor dan dana usaha guna
memperkuat struktur permodalan Bank.
b. Governance Process
Fungsi pengawasan dewan komisaris dilakukan
oleh International Banking Group (IBG). Hasil
pengawasan tersebut diungkapkan dalam laporan
berkala yang telah disampaikan kepada Kantor
Cabang Jakarta.
Bank telah memiliki komite-komite untuk
membantu manajemen Bank, yaitu : Komite
Manajemen, Komite Manajemen Risiko, Komite
NPL, IT Steering Committee. Rapat komite
dilakukan secara berkala,
c. Governance Outcome
Seluruh hasil rapat manajemen dan komite telah
dituangkan dalam risalah rapat dan Bank telah
melaporkan kepada OJK terkait pelaksanaan tugas
dan fungsi kepatuhan, internal audit, dan SKMR
serta pelaporan terkait pelaksanaan GCG.
Penilaian sendiri Bank didasarkan pada prinsip
Good Corporate Governance yang terdiri dari
- Kecukupan transparansi laporan;
- Kepatuhan terhadap peraturan perundang-
undangan;
- Perlindungan konsumen;
- Oyektivitas dalam melakukan assessment/audit;
- Kinerja Bank seperti rentabilitas, efisiensi, dan
permodalan; dan/atau
- Kepatuhan terhadap ketentuan yang berlaku.
Dari hasil penilaian sendiri dapat dilihat bahwa
peringkat penerapan GCG memiliki peringkat 2
atau ‘Baik’.

Indonesia Economy in 2013
Selama tahun 2013 indikator makro ekonomi Indonesia
menunjukan fundamental ekonomi yang melambat. Nilai
tukar rupiah terhadap USD melemah dibandingkan dengan
tahun 2012 seiring dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi
Indonesia sebesar 5,8%.
Nilai Tukar
Nilai tukar USD pada tahun 2013 mengalami pelemahan
sebesar 2.500 nilai dasar dari Rp. 9.670 / 1 USD pada
akhir tahun 2012 menjadi Rp. 12.170 / 1 USD pada akhir
tahun 2013. Secara fundamental nilai tukar rupiah
terdepresiasi karena pengaruh faktor pelemahan
pertumbuhan ekonomi yang bersumber dari investasi yang
melambat sejak awal tahun akibat menurunnya persepsi
keyakinan pelaku bisnis terhadap perlambatan ekonomi.
Sementara ekspor masih tumbuh terbatas sejalan dengan
masih lemahnya pertumbuhan ekonomi dunia dan
penurunan harga komoditas global. Sebaliknya, konsumsi
masih tumbuh stabil dan tidak banyak terpengaruh oleh
kondisi global, serta masih menjadi mesin utama
pertumbuhan ekonomi.
Tingkat Inflasi
Inflasi pada tahun 2013 mencapai 8,4%, lebih tinggi dari
inflasi 2012 sebesar 4,3%, dan jauh di atas kisaran sasaran
inflasi 4,5%±1%. Berdasarkan regional, kenaikan inflasi
tahun 2013 tercatat tertinggi di kawasan Sumatera
dipengaruhi tingginya inflasi volatile food dan inflasi
administered price, sedangkan inflasi inti tercatat rendah.
Suku Bunga
Tingkat suku bunga acuan Bank Indonesia (BI rate)
dipertahankan pada level 7,50% di tahun 2013 Hal ini
sejalan dengan kebijakan pemerintah dalam mengatur
tingkat inflasi sesuai kisaran target.
Kondisi Sektor Perbankan
Kinerja industri perbankan, sebagai bagian dari sektor
keuangan Indonesia, tetap solid dengan risiko kredit,
likuiditas dan pasar yang cukup terjaga. Stabilitas sistem
keuangan didukung oleh kinerja perbankan yang positif
baik dari sisi fungsi intermediasi perbankan maupun

Exchange Rate

IDR is significantly depreciated due to the
moderation in economy mainly derived from
investments that fell since the beginning of the year
due to the declining businesses confidence towards
a perceived economic slowdown. Meanwhile,
export growth continued to be fairly limited in line
with the weak global economic growth and a
decline in global commodity prices. On the other
hand, consumption continues to register stable
growth and was not much affected by global
conditions, as it is still the main engine for
economic growth.
Inflation Rate
Inflation in 2013 reached 8.4%, higher than the
2012 inflation of 4.3%, and was well above the
inflation target range of 4.5±1%. Sumatera is the
region with the highest level of inflation in 2013,
which was due to high level of volatile food and
administered price inflation.
Interest Rate
The BI reference interest rate was maintained at
level 7.50% in 2013. The policy is inline with the
fiscal policy to stabilize and to control inflation rate
within its target range.
Banking Sector Condition
Banking sector, as a part of Indonesia’s financial
sector, performed solidly while well maintaining
credit, liquidity and market risks. Financial system
stability was supported by positive performance of
the banking sector, both in terms of its intermediary

efisiensi.
Secara keseluruhan, industri perbankan yang terdiri dari
Bank Umum dan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) masih
mendominasi struktur sistem keuangan Indonesia. Hal ini
terlihat pada peningkatan pangsa pasar total aset industri
perbankan terhadap sistem keuangan, yang tercatat sebesar
78,8%, meningkat dibandingkan tahun 2012 yang sebesar
77,9%. Peningkatan total aset didukung oleh perluasan
jaringan usaha Bank, meskipun jumlah Bank Umum masih
tetap sebesar 120 bank, dengan komposisi 109 Bank
Umum Konvensional (BUK) dan 11 Bank Umum Syariah
(BUS). Perluasan jaringan usaha bank terlihat dari
peningkatan jumlah kantor BUK serta BUS dan Unit
Usaha Syariah (UUS). Jumlah kantor BUK tercatat
sebesar 16.062 kantor, meningkat dibandingkan tahun
2012 yang sebesar 14.398 kantor. Sementara itu, jumlah
kantor BUS dan UUS mencapai 2.492 kantor, meningkat
dibandingkan tahun 2012 yang sebesar 2.227 kantor.
Sebaliknya, jumlah BPR pada tahun 2013 mengalami
penurunan sebanyak 14 BPR, terkait adanya pencabutan
izin usaha (5 BPR) dan merger (17 BPR) yang diikuti
dengan pembukaan BPR baru (8 BPR). Pencabutan ijin
usaha dan merger beberapa BPR tersebut dilakukan dalam
rangka meningkatkan ketahanan industri BPR.
Peran perbankan dalam pembangunan nasional semakin
meningkat yang tercermin dari rasio kredit terhadap PDB
Indonesia pada 2013 yang tercatat sebesar 36%,
meningkat dari tahun 2012 yang sebesar 32%.
Untuk mendukung ekspansi penyaluran kredit, perbankan
masih mengandalkan DPK sebagai sumber utama
pembiayaan kredit. DPK pada tahun 2013 tercatat sebesar
Rp3.526,2 triliun atau tumbuh sebesar 13,6%, melambat
dibandingkan tahun 2012 yang sebesar 15,8% Peningkatan
tertinggi terjadi pada giro dan deposito yang disebabkan
terjadinya pergesaran dana masyarakat dari tabungan ke
deposito sebagai dampak dari kebijakan moneter yang
lebih ketat.
Peningkatan kredit yang tidak ditopang oleh peningkatan
DPK telah mendorong Perbankan untuk mencairkan alat
likuidnya. Pertumbuhan kredit yang lebih tinggi
dibandingkan DPK juga diikuti selisih nominal ekspansi
kredit yang lebih besar dibandingkan selisih nominal
pertambahan DPK. Hal ini menyebabkan rasio Loan to
Deposit Ratio (LDR) meningkat dari 83,8% (2012)
menjadi 89,9%.
Dari sisi profitabilitas, perbankan mencatat pertumbuhan
laba yang positif dan Return on Assets (ROA) yang masih
terjaga pada kisaran 3% (Grafik 8.10). Rata-rata laba

Overall, the banking industry, which comprises
commercial banks and rural banks (BPR),
continues to dominate Indonesia’s financial market
structure. It is reflected in the growth of banking
sector market share as a percentage of the financial
system total assets, which stood at 78.8%, an
increase from 77.9% in 20121. The increase in total
assets was supported by the expansion of banking
network, while the number of commercial banks
remained at 120 banks, comprising 109
Conventional Commercial Banks (BUK) and 11
Islamic Banks (BUS)2. This expanding network is
evident from the increase in the number of BUK
branches as well as BUS and Islamic Business Unit
(UUS) branches. The number of BUK branches
stood at 16,062 branches, an increase from 2012
which stood at 14,398 branches. Meanwhile, the
number of BUS and UUS branches stood at 2,492,
an increase from 2,227 branches in 2012. In
contrast, the number of rural banks at the end of
2013 declined by 14 rural banks, resulting from
revocation of banking licenses (5 rural banks) and
mergers (17 rural banks), followed by the opening
of new rural banks (8 rural banks). Revocation of
banking licenses and mergers of several rural banks
were carried out in order to improve the resilience
of the Rural Banks industry.
Banking role in national economic development
intensified, as reflected in Indonesia’s bank loan-to-
GDP ratio at the end of 2013 which stood at 36%,
higher than 32% in 2012.
To support lending growth, banks continued to rely
on Third Party Funds (TPF) as the main funding
source. TPF at the end of 2013 amounted to
Rp3,526.2 trillion, growing 13.6% year-on-year,
which was slower than its annual growth of 15.8%
at the end of 2012 The highest growth occurred
within checking accounts and term deposits as a
result of a shift in funding allocation from savings
to term deposits due to tighter monetary policy.
Increase in lending which were not supported by an
increase in TPF has prompted banks to liquidate
their liquid assets. Relatively higher lending growth
compared to TPF growth was also shown in the
relatively higher nominal increase of loan growth
compared to nominal increase of TPF. These then
pushed the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio (LDR) to 89.9%
(2013) from 83.8% (2012).
In terms of profitability, banks registered positive
earnings growth and maintained Return on Assets
(ROA) within the range of 3% (Chart 8.10). The

(BOPO) membaik. Rasio BOPO tercatat sebesar 74,0%,
membaik dibandingkan tahun 2012 yang sebesar 74,2% Dari sisi permodalan, ketahanan perbankan nasional
semakin meningkat di tengah tekanan perlambatan
ekonomi. Hal ini tercermin dari modal bank umum
konvensional pada tahun 2013 yang tercatat sebesar
Rp643,4 triliun, meningkat dari tahun 2012 yang sebesar
Rp496,8 triliun. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) pada
tahun 2013 sebesar 18,4%, juga meningkat dari tahun
2012 yang sebesar 17,3%.
Risiko kredit industri perbankan secara umum juga tetap
terjaga. Hal ini tercermin dari masih terkendalinya rasio
Non Performing Loan (NPL) gross industri perbankan
pada 2013 yang hanya mencapai 1,77%, menurun
dibandingkan NPL 2012 yang sebesar 1,87%. Penurunan
NPL disebabkan perbankan semakin meningkatkan aspek
kehati-hatian dalam penyaluran kredit, di tengah
melemahnya pertumbuhan ekonomi, kenaikan inflasi dan
depresiasi nilai tukar.

resilience improved amidst pressures brought about
by the economic slowdown. This was reflected in
bank capital that stood at Rp643.4 trillion in 2013,
higher than Rp496.8 trillion in 2012. The Capital
Adequacy Ratio (CAR) in 2013 was 18.4%, higher
than 17.3% in 2012.
The credit risk of banks was generally also well
maintained. This is reflected in the banking industry gross NPL ratio in 2013 which was
1.77%, lower than the NPL in 2012 which was
1.87% (Chart 8.13). The decline in NPL was the
result of banks intensive application of prudential
policy for lending, amidst weak economic growth,
rising inflation, and depreciating exchange rate.

Teknologi Informasi
Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas kerja dan
untuk menyediakan pelayanan yang lebih baik untuk
nasabah, bank memandang bahwa teknologi mempunyai
peranan yang sangat penting. Bank terus bekerja sama
dengan bagian informasi teknologi kantor pusat guna
memperkenalkan dan memperbaharui teknologi informasi,
Bank secara berkesinambungan melaksanakan proyek
pemutakhiran sistim pelaporan ke Bank Indonesia dan juga
telah berhasil mengimplementasikan sistem KYC dan
AML dengan aplikasi yang di sediakan oleh kantor pusar,
dan bank juga melakukan pengembangan atas sistem
program pemantauan transaksi / aktivitas yang
mencurigakan. Lebih dari itu, bank melakukan
peningkatan atas sistem giro, kliring, kas bank dengan
mengimplemetasikan Cashier System.

Information Technology
In order to increase the efficiency and work

our customers, bank viewed technology as vital

introduce and upgrade new information technology
system. Bank continuously improve Bank’s
reporting system process to Bank Indonesia and
Bank has also successfully implemented KYC and
AML system from Head Office, and bank has
developed a system to monitor suspicious acitivity
on a daily basis. More than that, bank has
successfully upgraded our current account,
clearing, cash system through the implementation
of Cashier System
Organizational Structure
During the year, the Bank has initiated a program to
enhance the quality of customer service by
improving the operational procedures. Moreover,
the organizational structure was revised minimum
once a year, so as to review the chain of command,
and improve internal communication. Bank

Manajemen Risiko
Dalam melakukan kegiatan usaha bank sering dihadapkan
pada risiko – risiko sehari-hari seperti risiko pasar, risiko
likuiditas, risiko kredit, risiko legal, risiko operasonal, dan
risiko terkait lainnya.
Berdasarkan peraturan Bank Indonesia no. 5/8/PBI/2003
tanggal 19 Mei 2003, Bank wajib membentuk Komite
Manajemen Risiko.
Bank telah membentuk Komite Manajemen Risiko (KMR)
pada tanggal 30 Oktober tahun 2003, sesuai peraturan
Bank Indonesia dan Surat Edaran Bank Indonesia SE
no.5/21/DPNP mengenai penerapan manajemen risiko
dalam industri perbankan.
Adapun fungsi dan tanggung jawab Komite Manajemen
Risiko adalah memberikan rekomendasi kepada General
Manager, yang sekurang-kurangnya meliputi:
1. Penyusunan kebijakan, strategi, dan pedoman
penerapan manajemen risiko.
2. Perbaikan atau penyempurnaan pelaksanaan
manajemen risiko berdasarkan hasil evaluasi
pelaksanaan yang dimaksud.
3. Penetapan hal-hal yang terkait dengan keputusan
bisnis yang menyimpang dari prosedur normal.
Bank sudah mematuhi kewajiban Bank Indonesia atas
pelaporan profil risiko. Keseluruhan pedoman manajemen
risiko telah diserahkan kepada Bank Indonesia.
Bank telah melakukan antisipasi terhadap 8 (delapan)
risiko yang melekat di bisnis perbankan sebagai berikut:
Risiko Kredit
Risiko kredit adalah risiko yang terjadi akibat kegagalan
pihak lawan (counterparty) memenuhi kewajibannya.
Risiko kredit dapat bersumber dari berbagai aktivitas
fungsional bank seperti perkreditan (penyediaan dana),
treasuri dan investasi, dan pembiayaan perdagangan, yang
tercatat dalam banking book maupun trading book.
Terkait dengan Risiko Kredit, Bank telah menerapkan
Manajemen Risiko sebagai berikut:
Menetapkan kebijakan dan prosedur kredit, termasuk
Credit Risk Rating (CRR) serta General
Underwriting Standard (GUS), yang berlaku sebagai
acuan dalam melakukan analisa kredit.

Risk Management
In conducting the bank’s business it is constantly
exposed to daily risks such as market risk, liquidity
risk, credit risk, legal risk, operational risk, and
other risks, which relates to the bank’s business.
Based on Bank Indonesia regulation no. 5/8/PBI
/2003 dated May 19, 2003, it is mandatory for a
bank to establish a Risk Management Committee.
Bank has established its Risk Management
Committee (RMC) on October 30, 2003 to comply
with Bank Indonesia regulation, and its circular
letter SE No.5/21/DPNP regarding the
implementation of risk management in banking
industry.
The function and responsibility of Risk
Management Committee are to provide
recommendation to General Manager covering at
least the following:
1. Formulation of policy, strategy, and guidelines
for implementation of risk management.
2. Correction or improvements for risk
management implementation based on the risk
management evaluation.
3. Justification on matters pertaining to business
decision made in irregularities from normal
procedure.
Our bank has complied with Bank Indonesia
requirement on risk profile report submission. Full
set of risk management guideline has already been
submitted to Bank Indonesia.
Bank are anticipating 8 risks inherent attached in
the bank business as follows:
Credit Risk
Credit risk is the risk of default by counterparty.
Credit risk may arise from various business lines of
the Bank, such as credit (provision of funds),
treasury and investment, and trade financing,
recorded both in the banking book and the trading
book.
In relation to credit risk, Bank has implemented the
following Risk Management:
Establishing Lending Policy and Procedures,
including Credit Risk Rating (CRR) and
General Underwriting Standard (GUS), which
are used as a guideline in analyzing credit.

Melakukan review atas lending policy, untuk
dikinikan sesuai dengan rekomendasi Unit
Kepatuhan, Bank Indonesia, Kantor Pusat, serta
peraturan-peraturan baru yang berlaku.

membantu proses review dan evaluasi aplikasi kredit
yang diajukan oleh bagian Marketing.
Melakukan Loan Committee Meeting untuk
memutuskan pemberian kredit baru, perpanjangan,
maupun merekomendasikan aplikasi kredit ke kantor
pusat.
Melakukan analisa portfolio kredit berdasarkan
konsentrasi sektor industri, customer concentration
Risiko Pasar dan Risiko Likuiditas
Risiko Pasar merupakan risiko yang timbul karena adanya
pergerakan variable pasar dari portfolio yang dimiliki
oleh Bank, yang dapat merugikan Bank. Risiko Pasar
terdiri dari risiko suku bunga, risiko posisi modal, risiko
komoditas, risiko nilai tukar, dan risiko harga option.
Dalam hal ini bank hanya mempertimbangkan risiko nilai
tukar mata uang asing dalam risiko pasar. Bank telah
mampu mengatur dan mengendalikan risiko ini dengan
melakukan pemantauan melalui laporan harian yang
dihasilkan oleh sistem komputer.
Risiko Likuiditas adalah risiko yang antara lain
disebabkan Bank tidak mampu memenuhi kewajiban yang
telah jatuh waktu.
Bank membentuk Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO)
yang mempunyai fungsi untuk mengatur tingkat bunga
dan likuiditas Bank.
Risiko Operasional
Risiko Operasional adalah risiko yang antara lain
disebabkan ketidakcukupan dan atau tidak berfungsinya
proses internal, kesalahan manusia, kegagalan system dan
adanya problem eksternal yang mempengaruhi
operasional Bank.
Manajemen Risiko dan proses risiko adalah bagian dari
keseluruhan kerangka pengendalian internal. Manajemen
bertugas membuat dan memelihara proses pengendalian
internal secara efektif. Untuk itu, Bank telah menyusun
kebijakan dan prosedur operasional sebagai panduan
dalam menjalankan kegiatan bisnisnya.

Market Risk and Liquidity Risk
Market risk is the risk arising from movement in
market variables in portfolios held by the Bank that
could incur losses for the bank. Market risk consists
of interest rate risk, equity position risk, commodity
risk, foreign exchange risk and option price risk.
Bank is exposed to only foreign exchange risk in
this matter. Bank is able to manage and control this
risk by monitoring with daily report generated by
in-house computer system.
Liquidity risk is the risk caused among others by
the inability of the Bank to settle its liabilities as it
falls due.
Bank has established Asset & Liability Committee
(ALCO) with the function of regulating the interest
rate and Bank’s liquidity.
Operational Risk
Operational risk is the risk caused among others by
inadequacy and/or dysfunction of internal
processes, human error, system failure, and external
problems affecting the operations of the Bank.
Risk management and risk processes are part of the
overall internal control framework of the
institution. The senior management is tasked with
creating and maintaining an internal control process
and monitoring its effectiveness. For that, Bank has
established operational policy and procedures as a
guideline in operating its business activities.

Risiko Hukum
Risiko hukum adalah risiko yang disebabkan oleh adanya
kelemahan aspek yuridis, yang antara lain disebabkan
adanya tuntutan hukum, ketiadaan peraturan perundang-
undangan yang mendukung, atau kelemahan perikatan
seperti tidak dipenuhinya syarat sahnya kontrak dan
pengikatan agunan yang tidak sempurna. Bank melakukan
review atas dokumen-dokumen legal.
Risiko Reputasi
Risiko reputasi adalah risiko yang antara lain disebabkan
oleh adanya publikasi negatif yang terkait dengan kegiatan
usaha Bank atau persepsi negatif terhadap Bank.
Bank telah membentuk Complaint Unit untuk menangani
keluhan nasabah.
Risiko Strategik
Risiko strategik adalah risiko yang antara lain disebabkan
oleh pengambilan keputusan bisnis yang tidak tepat atau
kurang responsifnya Bank terhadap perubahan eksternal.
Bank melakukan pemantauan serta analisis terhadap
kinerja Bank secara periodical serta melakukan koreksi
atas perbedaan yang signifikan.
Risiko Kepatuhan
Risiko kepatuhan merupakan risiko yang disebabkan
Bank tidak mematuhi atau tidak melaksanakan peraturan
perundang-undangan dan ketentuan lain yang berlaku.
Terdapatnya fungsi pengawasan oleh Direktur
Kepatuhan, untuk memastikan kepatuhan Bank
terhadap peraturan yang berlaku.
Menginformasikan serta mengsosialisasikan
peraturan-peraturan baru dan terkini kepada
manajemen serta setiap departemen yang
bersangkutan.
Legal Risk
Legal risk is the risk arising from legal weaknesses,
among others resulting from legal actions, absence
of supporting provisions in laws and regulations, or
weakness of legally binding provisions, such as
failure to comply with legal requirements for
contracts and loopholes in binding of collateral.
Bank performs reviews on all legal documents.
Reputation Risk
Reputation risk is risk brought about among others
by negative publicity concerning the operations of
the Bank or negative perceptions of the Bank.
Bank has established a Complaint unit, with
function of handling any customer complaints.
Strategic Risk
Strategic risk is risk among others brought about by
poor setting and implementation of the Bank
strategy, poor business decision-making, or lack of
responsiveness of the Bank to external changes.
Bank carry out periodical monitoring as well as
analysis on bank’s performance and carry out
corrective action s on any deviations.
Compliance Risk
Compliance risk is the risk arising from failure of
the Bank to comply with or implement laws,
regulations, and other applicable legal provisions.
Monitoring function are carried out by
the Compliance Director, to ensure the Bank’s
compliance towards all prevailing regulations

Sumber Daya Manusia
Bank menyadari pentingnya pelatihan pegawai dan
pengembangannya untuk mencapai tingkat kualitas
pelayanan yang tinggi dan juga mempertahankan tingkat
persaingannya. Pada tahun 2013, bank mengadakan
pelatihan yang meliputi pelatihan teknis dan peningkatan
keahlian karyawan. Pelatihan ini guna memperbaiki
efisiensi dan produktivitas sumber daya manusia dan untuk
memperbaiki pemahaman mereka akan segala aspek
kebijakan perbankan.
Bank memiliki kelompok karyawan yang kompak dan
berdedikasi tinggi. Salah satu prioritas utama bank saat ini
adalah mempersiapkan karyawan untuk menyongsong
tantangan masa depan.
Dalam tahun 2013, 80 Karyawan telah mengikuti berbagai
pelatihan yang terdiri dari ; Pelatihan Bank Payment
Obligation (BPO), Manajemen Risiko (BSMR), Know
Your Customers (KYC), dan sebagainya.
Human Resources
Bank recognizes the importance of personnel
training and development for ensuring our high
services quality and thus maintaining our
competitive edge. In year 2013, bank has conducted
trainings for both technical and self-improvement
skills. The training courses were to improve human
resources efficiency and productivity as well as to
enhance their understanding of all aspects of the
banking policies.
Bank has a solid group of employee with high
integrities. One of our major priorities is to prepare
our staffs for a future challenge.

Dalam tahun yang akan datang, pertumbuhan ekonomi
Indonesia diperkirakan pada level 5,8% - 6,1%. Hal ini
dikarenakan pemulihan pertumbuhan global di sektor riil
dan keuangan. Maka, di harapkan sektor perbankan akan
tetap mengalami penguatan ditengah keadaan membaiknya
perlambatan ekonomi dunia secara umum. Dalam hal ini,
peranan bank dalam hal pendanaan akan membuat peranan
penting dengan menawarkan suku bunga pinjaman yang
bersaing. Sektor yang akan mendukung peningkatan
aktivitas ekonomi tahun 2014 akan tetap berasal dari
pertumbuhan di sektor-sektor: pertambangan, manufaktur,
perdagangan, hotel dan restaurant, transportasi dan
komunikasi.
Oleh karena itu, dari keterangan ini, bank telah berupaya
untuk meningkatkan pinjaman yang aktif. Bank berencana
untuk memfokuskan diri meningkatkan portfolio pinjaman
dari debitur lama dan menawarkan pinjaman kepada

In the coming years, Indonesian economic growth
is expected to be at level range of 5.8% - 6.1%.
This is due to the global economic recovery that
causes the decrease in real and financial sectors.
Therefore, The banking sector is still expected to
strengthen amidst the global economic recovery. To
promote economic growth, bank’s role in financing
will play major role in the economy, and this can be
accomplished by offering competitive lending
rates. Supporting sectors that will increase
economic activity in 2014 are still from high
growth in the mining, manufacturing, trade, hotels
and restaurants and the transport and
communications sector.
Therefore, in this particular, bank has been exerting
effort to increase the active cash loan outstanding.
Bank is planning to focus increasing its loan
portfolio from existing borrowers and to offer

prosedur lainnya yang berkaitan dengan kepatuhan seperti
persetujuan kredit, batas maksimum pemberian kredit dan
prosedur operasional lainnya telah dilaksanakan dengan

REGULATION
Bank strictly monitor our compliance to Bank
Indonesia regulations especially toward prudent
banking principles, such as legal lending limit,
capital adequacy (CAR), statutory requirement, net
open position and non performing ratio (NPL).
Compliance officer through the respective head of
department ensures that all internal procedures as
well as all other procedures related to the
compliance’s issues have been well carried out,
such as procedures for credit approval, legal
lending limit and other operational procedures.
Compliance officer is independent from bank
operational duties. The officer is responsible for the
implementation and the oversight of compliance
program. One of many tasks is to ensure that
bank’s policy is verified against compliance’s
requirement.

KINERJA BANGKOK BANK
Bangkok Bank’s Performance
Hasil operasi Bangkok Bank Jakarta selama tahun 2013
telah menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kinerja
keuangannya. Kemajuan utama dicapai sebagai dorongan
untuk memajukan dasar-dasar operasi bank dan
membangun tingkat pertumbuhan pendapatan.
Aktiva dan Kewajiban
Total keseluruhan pinjaman yang diberikan pada akhir
tahun 2013 mencapai Rp. 11.894 milyar, terdapat
peningkatan sebesar 72,12% dari Rp. 6.910 milyar pada
tahun 2012. Peningkatan terjadi pada sektor industri
sebesar 79%. Total pencadangan untuk pinjaman yang tak
tertagih mengalami peningkatan dari Rp. 314,52 milyar
menjadi Rp. 350,76 milyar, terdapat peningkatan 11,52%.
Total aktiva Bank naik dari Rp. 8.111 milyar menjadi Rp.
15.162 milyar pada akhir tahun 2013. Total simpanan
mengalami kenaikan sebesar 82,71% menjadi Rp.
2.610.769 milyar pada akhir tahun 2013. Sedangkan, rasio
pinjaman (LDR) yang diberikan terhadap simpanan
mencapai 455,58%
The operating results of Bangkok Bank Jakarta in
2013 have shown improvement in its financial
performance. The major progress was made on key
initiatives to strengthen the bank’s operating
fundamentals and build revenue growth.
Assets and Liabilities
Total net outstanding loans at year-end 2013
amounted to Rp. 11,894 billion, an increase of
72.12% from Rp. 6,910 billion in 2012. The
increase on loan portfolio occurred in industrial
sector by 79%. The allowance for possible loan
losses has increased from Rp 314.52 billion to
become Rp. 350.76 billion, or increased by
11.52%. Total assets of the Bank increased from
Rp. 8,111 billion to Rp. 15,162 billion at the end of
year 2013. Total deposit increased by 82.71% to
become Rp. 2,610,769 billion at year-end 2013.
Moreover our loan to deposit ratio has reached up
to 455.58%.
Pendapatan – Biaya
Pada tahun 2013, pendapatan bunga bersih naik dari Rp.
353,13 milyar menjadi Rp 595,66 milyar, atau naik
sebesar 68,68%, dikarenakan peningkatan jumlah
pinjaman yang diberikan.
Pada tahun 2013, laba operasi mencapai Rp. 324,56 milyar
naik sebesar 78,11% jika dibandingkan dengan laba
operasi pada tahun 2012 sebesar Rp.180,07 milyar.
Secara keseluruhan, laba bersih setelah pajak pada akhir
tahun 2013 naik dari Rp. 108,06 milyar menjadi
Rp.191,63 milyar berbanding tahun 2012.
Income – Expenses
In year 2013, interest revenue has increased from
Rp. 353.13 billion to Rp. 595.66 billion, or
increased by 68.68%, due to increase in loan given
to customers.
In year 2013, the operating profit amounted to Rp.
324.56 billion increased by 78.11%, compared to
Rp. 180.07 billion in year 2012.
Overall, the Bank’s Net Profit after Tax at year-
end has decreased from Rp. 108.06 billion in year
2013 to become Rp. 191.63 billion compared with
year 2012.

Modal dan Kecukupan Modal
Total modal pada akhir tahun 2013 adalah sebesar Rp.
11.600,78 milyar, meningkat sebesar 95,29%
dibandingkan dengan tahun 2012. Menurut Peraturan
Bank Indonesia No. 3 / 21 / PBI / 2001 tertanggal 13
Desember 2001 mengenai “Rasio Kecukupan Modal
Minimum”,
Bank diwajibkan untuk memiliki modal minimum sebesar
8% dari Aktiva Tertimbang Menurut Risiko yang dihitung
pada akhir Desember 2013. Rasio kecukupan modal
minimum pada Bangkok Bank tahun 2013 masing-masing
sebesar 67,09% dan 63,79% pada tahun 2012.
Kredit Bermasalah
Pada tahun 2013, Persentase Kredit Bermasalah bersih
adalah sebesar 0,03%, kredit bermasalah pada tahun 2013
Rp. 80,48 milyar dari Rp. 224,83 milyar pada tahun 2012.
Selama tahun 2013. Manajemen melaksanakan langkah
strategis khusus untuk penyelesaian masalah kredit macet,
melalui proses hukum, lelang umum dan pembayaran
cicilan. Bank sedang terus menerus menyesuaikan
pendekatan kehati-hatian terhadap cadangan pinjaman dan
juga akan lebih memperhatikan dalam memperbaiki
manajemen atas Kredit bermasalah.
Peristiwa penting
Pada tanggal 2 januari 2014, Bank telah mentransfer laba
bersih periode sebelumnya ke Kantor Pusat sebesar IDR
82.539 Juta.
Capital and Capital Adequacy Ratio
The total capital fund stood at Rp. 11,600.78 billion
as at year-end 2013, increased by 95.29%
compared to 2012. According to Bank Indonesia
Regulation No. 3 / 21 / PBI / 2001 dated 13
December 2001 regarding “Minimum Capital
Adequacy Requirement”, Bank is obliged to have
minimum capital adequacy ratio as much as 8
percent from Risk Weighted Assets counted at the
end of December 2013. Bangkok Bank’s capital
adequacy ratio has increased to 67.09% in year
2013 from 63.79% in year 2012.
Non Performing Loans
In year 2013, the percentage of Net Non
Performing Loans (NPL) stood at 0,03%, non-
performing loan decreased to Rp. 80.48 billion
from Rp 224.83 billion in year 2012. During the
year 2013, our management has been giving special
attention to solve NPL problem, through legal
process, public auction and installment. The Bank
is continuing to adopt a prudent approach to loan
loss reserves and also will continue to focus on
improving its management on Non Performing
Loans.
Subsequent Event
On January 2, 2014, Bank has remitted previous
year’s net income to Head Office in IDR 82,539
Million.

KOMITE–KOMITE INTERNAL
Peraturan Bank Indonesia no 2/27/PBI/2000 tanggal 15
Desember 2000 mengenai Bank umum menyebutkan
bahwa pejabat eksekutif adalah pejabat yang mempunyai
pengaruh terhadap kebijakan dan operasional bank serta
bertanggung jawab langsung kepada Direksi. Keputusan
yang dibuat dan diambil atas semua kebijakan harus
mendapat persetujuan dari komite yang terkait.
Komite-komite yang terdapat dalam bank adalah:
i. KOMITE MANAJEMEN
Komite ini bertanggung jawab atas efisiensi kinerja
bank. Termasuk penelahaan secara periodik dan
pengarahan operasional, personalia, serta bagian umum
yang akan dibawa dan dibicarakan didalam komite.
Rapat akan diadakan setiap bulan atau sesuai dengan
kebutuhan.

INTERNAL COMMITTEES
Bank Indonesia regulation No 2/27/PBI/2000 dated
December 15, 2000 regarding Commercial bank defines
Executive Officer as any position exerting influence on
bank policy and operations and is directly responsible to
the Boards of Directors. Relevant committee approved
decisions on policies and directions of the bank.
Established committees in the bank are:
i. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The committee is responsible to ensure proper and
efficient bank performance running. It covers the
periodical review and direction of operations, personnel
and general affairs. Any matters arise during the course
of operation will be brought up by appropriate members
for further deliberation of the committee. The meeting
will be held monthly or as often as required.
The current members are:

Tanggung jawab utama dari komite ini adalah
mengakses dan menganalisa seluruh portofolio
pinjaman dari bank termasuk baik rekening pinjaman
lancar maupun pinjaman bermasalah.
Rapat diadakan setiap minggu dan dihadiri oleh anggota
yang spesifik telah disetujui oleh Kantor Pusat.

iiii. KOMITE MANAGEMEN RESIKO
Komite ini bertanggung jawab atas pemantauan
penerapan kebijakan managemen resiko, memantau
posisi resiko untuk setiap jenis resiko dan aktivitas
fungsional serta memeriksa secara berkala mengenai
managemen resiko.
Rapat akan diadakan setiap bulan atau sesuai dengan
kebutuhan.

iii. LOAN COMMITTEE
The main responsibility of this committee is to assess
and analyze all the banks’ loan portfolio, which includes
active and non-performing loan accounts. The meeting
will be held weekly and attended by members
specifically approved by Head Office.

implementation of risk management strategy,

Pejabat Eksekutif / Executives:
Chalit Tayjasanant, Senior Vice President General Manager, lahir pada tanggal 24 Mei 1953, sebelum
penunjukkannya pada bulan Maret 2002, beliau menjabat
sebagai Pejabat Kepala Eksekutif dan Direktur Eksekutif
dari Bangkok Bank Berhad, Kuala lumpur. Setelah
mendapat gelar Bachelor of Science dari Michigan
Technological University, dan Master of Science dari
University of Dallas, beliau bergabung dengan Bangkok
Bank Kantor pusat pada bulan Januari 1981
General Manager, born on May 24, 1953, before his
appointment in March 2002, he was formerly Chief
Executive Officer & Executive Director of Bangkok Bank
Berhad, Kuala Lumpur. After receiving his Bachelor of
Science from Michigan Technological University and
Master of Science from University of Dallas, he joined
Bangkok Bank, Head Office in January 1981.
Joko Chahjono, Senior Vice President Deputy General Manager, lahir pada tanggal 23 Maret
1962. Beliau bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank, Jakarta
tahun 1989 sebagai Operation Officer. Pada tahun 2001,
diangkat sebagai Vice President yang membawahi
Departemen Operasional. Selanjutnya di tahun 2008, beliau
diangkat sebagai Deputy General Manager yang
membawahi Departmen Operasional dan Supports &
Services. Beliau meraih gelar Sarjana Ekonomi dalam
bidang Akuntansi dari Universitas Tarumanegara, Jakarta
pada tahun 1986.
Nilubol Isarankura Na Ayudhya,
Vice President Deputy General Manager, lahir pada tanggal 14 Agustus
1971. sebelum penunjukkannya pada bulan Juni 2012,
beliau menjabat sebagai Vice President di International
Banking Group Bangkok Bank Kantor Pusat, beliau
diangkat sebagai Deputy General Manager yang
membawahi Departemen Marketing dan Departemen
Treasury. Beliau meraih gelar Bachelor of Financial and
Banking dari Thammasat University di Bangkok, Thailand
pada tahun 1989 dan Master of Business Administration
dari University of Central Oklahoma, di Oklahoma,
Amerika Serikat, pada tahun 1994.
Udomsab Srirojanakul, Assisten Vice President Deputy General Manager, lahir pada tanggal 11 Agustus
1968. sebelum penunjukkannya pada bulan Juni 2012,
beliau menjabat sebagai Assisten Vice President di
International Branch Business Department Bangkok Bank
Kantor Pusat, beliau diangkat sebagai Deputy General
Manager yang membawahi Departemen Managemen
Risiko dan Credit Acceptance. Beliau meraih gelar
Bachelor of Business Administration dari Assumption
University di Bangkok, Thailand pada tahun 1992 dan
Master of Business Administration dari University of
Central Oklahoma di Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1995.
Deputy General Manager, born on March 23, 1962, He
joined Bangkok Bank, Jakarta in 1989 as Operation
Officer. In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President and
supervise Operation Department. Subsequently, in 2008, he
was promoted to Deputy General Manager to supervise
both Operations and Supports & Services Department. He
obtained his Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from
University of Tarumanegara, Jakarta in 1986.
Deputy General Manager, born on August 14, 1971, before
her appointment in June 2012, she was formerly Vice
President International Bangking Group of Bangkok Bank,
Head Office. he was promoted to Deputy General
Manager to supervise both Marketing and Treasury
Department. She obtained her Bachelor of Fiancial adnd
Banking from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand
in 1989 and Master of Business Administration from
University of Central Oklahoma in United Stated of
America in 1994.
Deputy General Manager, born on August 11, 1968, before
her appointment in June 2012, she was formerly Assisten
Vice President International Branch Business Department
of Bangkok Bank, Head Office. he was promoted to
Deputy General Manager to supervise both Risk
Management and Credit Acceptance Department. She
obtained her Bachelor of Business from Assumption
University in Bangkok, Thailand in 1992 and Master of
Business Administration from University of Central

Lily Darmawati Eman, Vice President Head of Operations, lahir pada tanggal 17 Maret 1964,
bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak tahun 1986 dimulai
dari bagian Credit Administration dan menjadi kepala
Customer Services pada tahun 2004. Di angkat sebagai
Asisstant Vice president di tahun 2007. Selanjutnya, di
tahun 2008, beliau di promosikan menjadi Vice President
yang mengepalai Operations Department. Beliau
memperoleh gelar Sarjana Muda dalam bidang Ilmu
Kesekretarisan dari Akademi Sekretaris LPK Tarakanita di
tahun 1986 dan Sarjana Ekonomi dalam bidang
Manajemen Keuangan dari Universitas Indonesia di tahun
1995.
Head of Operations, born on March 17, 1964, joined with
Bangkok Bank since 1986. In the beginning, she started her
career in Credit Administation unit, and became Head of
Customer Services in 2004. She was promoted to Asisstant
Vice President in 2007. Next, in 2008, she was promoted to
Vice President of Operations Department. She obtained her
diploma degree in Secretrarial Knowledge from LPK
Tarakanita College in 1986 and Bachelor of Economics in
Financial Management from University of Indonesia in
1995.
Michael Anthony Kosman, Vice President Head of Marketing, lahir pada tanggal 17 April 1969,
bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak tahun 2006 dimulai
sebagai Marketing Officer dan menjadi Vice President
/Head of Marketing pada tahun 2009. Beliau memperoleh
gelar Bachelor of Science dalam bidang Accounting dari
Rutger’s State University of New Jersey (AS) dan Master
in Business Administration dalam bidang Keuangan dari
ST. John’s University di New York (AS).
Head of Marketing, born on April 17, 1969, joined with
Bangkok Bank since 2006. In the beginning, he started his
career as a Marketing Officer, and became Head of
Marketing in 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in
Accounting from Rutger’s State University of New Jersey
(USA) and Master in Business Administration major in
Finance from Saint John’s University in New York (USA).
Anwar Munaf, Assistant Vice President Direktur Kepatuhan, lahir pada tanggal 20 April 1959,
bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank, Jakarta tahun 1989
dimulai dari posisi akunting supervisor hingga Kepala
bagian ekspor impor. Pada tahun 2002 diangkat sebagai
Assistant Vice President, membawahi departemen budget
dan planning. Dan sejak 14 November 2005 ditunjuk
sebagai Direktur Kepatuhan. Meraih gelar Sarjana
Ekonomi dalam bidang Akuntansi dari Sekolah Tinggi
Ekonomi Indonesia, Jakarta pada tahun 1986.
Compliance Director, born on April 20, 1959, he joined
Bangkok Bank Jakarta in 1989 started from Accounting
Supervisor to Head to Bills department. In 2002, he was
promoted to Assistant Vice President and supervises
Budget and Planning Department. And starting November
14, 2005 he was appointed to take position as Compliance
Officer. He obtained his bachelor of Economics in
Accounting from Sekolah Tinggi Ekonomi Indonesia,
Jakarta in 1986.
Louis Chandra, Assistant Vice President Head of Supports and Services, lahir pada tanggal 08
December 1977, bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak
tahun 2007 dan sekarang ini menjabat sebagai Assistant
Vice President. Beliau memperoleh pengalaman di bidang
akuntansi dan audit dari Deloitte Accounting Firm dan
berbagai program pelatihan. Beliau memperoleh gelar
Sarjana Ekonomi dari City University of New York (AS) di
tahun 2003.
Head of Supports and Services, born on December 08,
1977, joined with Bangkok Bank since 2007, and hold a
position as Assitant Vice president. He obtained accounting
and auditing experiences from Deloitte Accounting Firm
and various training programs. He obtained Bachelor of
Business Administration from City University of New
York (U.S.A) in 2003.
Mario Prayitno, Assistant Vice President Head of Audit and Control, lahir pada tanggal 28 April
1979, bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak tahun 2005
dan sekarang ini menjabat sebagai Assistant Vice
President. Beliau memperoleh pengalaman di bidang
akuntansi dan audit dari Arthur Andersen auditing Firm
and Public Accountant Drs. J. Tanzil & Co., dan berbagai
program pelatihan. Beliau memperoleh gelar Sarjana
Ekonomi dari Universitas Atma Jaya di tahun 2001.

November 2010. Beliau memperoleh gelar Sarjana
Ekonomi dalam bidang Business Administration dari
Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Administrasi di Malang, Indonesia

Bangkok Bank since 2010. In the beginning, he started his
career as a Senior Dealer, and became Head of Treasury in

Malang, Indonesia.
Zainal Karnadi, Chief Officer Sub-branch Manager, lahir pada tanggal 24 Maret 1970,
bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak tahun 2012 dimulai
sebagai Sub-branch Manager cabang Surabaya pada
Februari 2012. Beliau memperoleh gelar Sarjana Hukum
Bisnis dari Universitas Airlangga di Surabaya, Indonesia
Hartono, Chief Officer Sub-branch Manager, lahir pada tanggal 19 November
1979, bergabung dengan Bangkok Bank sejak tahun 2013
dimulai sebagai Sub-branch Manager cabang Medan pada
