AIM

The aim of the course is to provide good understanding of the physics and technology of solar thermal processes. After completion of the course, students shall be able to design solar thermal systems of different sizes. They shall have sufficient background to read and understand research articles in the field of thermal solar energy.

CONTENTS

The course consists of two parts, one theoretical and one applied.

1999 Summer course in Tingvall

AIM

The aim of the course is to provide good understanding of the physics and technology of photovoltaic processes as well as the technology of photovoltaic systems and their components. After completion of the course, students shall be able to design stand-alone and grid connected solar electrical systems. They shall have sufficient background to read and understand research articles in the fields of photovoltaics and solar electricity.

CONTENTS

The course consists of two parts, one theoretical and one practical/experimental.
