Introduction:

AIESEC, as an international organization, changes all the time. Every year it gets better, improves itself

depending on the external environment, and it is amazing how generation after generation, we keep

working and fighting with passion for our goals.

The election process is key to ensure continuity of the organization and of your LC. An excellent

election process enables our entities to continue growing and impacting society through the years.

The applications for the following local Executive Board positions in 2012 are now open:

Local Committee President

LCVP for Communication and Marketing

LCVP for Incoming Exchange

LCVP for External Relations

LCVP for Legal, Finance and Administration

LCVP for Outgoing Exchange

LCVP for Talent Management

LCVP for Information Management

Important Dates:

Open Applications, Monday 17th October, 2011

Close Applications, Saturday 12th November, 2011

Virtual interviews about applications, (previously scheduled): from Monday 14th November to

Saturday 19th November, 2011

Optional: “Propaganda”: from Monday 5th from Friday 9th, December 2011

Elections and confidence votes, Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th December, 2011

Application: The application process is divided into 4 parts:

1. Your Profile: Please fill your personal data in the profile template in the application (1 page max).

2. General Questionnaire: These are the questions done by the EBiQ, they are the same for all the

positions.

3. Specific Questionnaire: These are the questions for each specific area.

4. Your Competency Assessment (CA): Please fill the Competency Assessment Tool in myaiesec.net. We

advice you to do also 360° CA to improve the results and analysis.1

The application don’t have a specific format, you can be as creative as you want! The application can be completed in English or Spanish.

The application (profile, both general & specific questionnaire, CA) should be maximum 7 pages

(for LCPs maximum of 10 pages). Make sure you create one file for your profile and all your

answers. We expect 1 PDF file only. Please submit your application in the following format:

EB2011_application_AIESEC_ LC_UCR_position_name_surname.pdf. In the same email, you have

to attach a recommendation letter from anyone who has worked with you in AIESEC.

Based on the application, virtual interview and the speech by the nominated candidates, final

selection will be made by the Local Assembly in the case of LCPs, comprised by all votes of

the members with full status. In case of VPs they will receive or not a confidence vote by the

majority of the Local Assembly, and them LCP will choose them. Elections Ceremony will take

place on Saturday or Sunday, December 10th or 11th, 2011 (for Candidates attendance is

obligatory).
