Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio is an American actor and film
producer. He has received many awards, including a Golden Globe
Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Aviator (2004), and
has been nominated by the Academy Awards.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, DiCaprio have 37
years old and his career started in 1990 but his first movie was in
1991. He plays in several movie like Titanic, Gangs of New York,
The Aviator, Shutter island but the most importatn for his career
was roll in Inception.
In these movie DiCaprio plays Dom Cobb, a specialized corporate
spy and thief. His work consists of secretly extracting valuable
commercial information from the unconscious minds of his targets
while they are asleep and dreaming.
Wanted for murder and unable to visit his children, Cobb is
offered a chance to regain his old life as payment for a task
considered to be impossible: "inception", the planting of an
original idea into a target's subconscious.
For this movie he was nominated at oscar for best main actor in
male role and he was awarded with Scream Award for Best Science
Fiction Actor.
And despite the fact his parents broke up when he was 8 years
old, he became one of the best actors of our time.
