About meI had my bachelor degree in interior designin 2015 from Bilkent University. Since myfield is very related to lighting design I decided to do my master in this field and I chose Politecnico di Milano. While I studied interior design I got some fundamental lighting design courses. One of my carrier goals is to be one of the top lighting designer and contribute to this field as much as I can. I am also intrested in product design and I had chance to design light integrated products while I was studying interior design.

Urban Lighting

Project InformationProject Name: Sound of Liberty

The Liberty building uses for diffrent ar-ragements like conserts. The concept for Liberty building we inspired by Vivaldi`s ”four Seasons” piece. We created four different scenerios by using diffrent colour tempera-ture. For winter time; warm light like 3000K which creates cosy, inviting atmosphere and for spring time 4000K, for summer time cool light like 6000K which gives freshness. Then in autumn goes back to 4000K.

It is used sound and special traning equip-ments for this concept. In playground there are interactive equipments like bicycles which people can use and create their own lighting effects while their children plays in the park.

The lighting concept is based on sound and activities with interactive light-ing. The aim is to increase the usage of the park and making the park more

atractive in night time. Through combining the sound and activities to light-ing systems interactivity in the park will be achived. The concept ”Sound of

Liberty” offers users to create their own lighting with activities and makes the park inviting.

Entrance and Reception

In the central square there are lighting sticks with noise sensitive dedectors that can transform the sound to light. More people more intense light. Thus the square will be more atractive and encrouage the people to use the park more often.

Project Name: “AN INFINITE JOURNEY”

Project Details: Technology is an infitie progress and it keeps moving forward everyday. In this place, clients set off on a technologic journey from very beginning of the tour.

Meeting RoomThere is one and big meeting table which is so powerful as a design. A long and strong lighting element is decided to use. For drawers there is a strip LED sources inside of the dry wall, thus there is subtle light when your eyes catch the gaps between drawers and structure of the cabinet. By the courtesy of that people perceive both dyna-mism and statism, It is kind of Static Dynamism.

Project InformationClient: Turin Natural Science Museum

Project Name: Art of Earth

Project Details: After a desire for a flexible solution in the museum area, gridal track system is used for exhibiton area. Thanks to this mechanism, locations of luminaires can changed by stuff according to layout of exhibiton.

As space was thread in two parts, Ceilings are illuminated with a same way and same colour temperatue

Apart from ceilings each room illuminated by its own needs

In the buying area, there is much more atten-tion for cabinets.

Heritage Lighting The space was treated in two parts, upper and lower. The upper unit fea-

turing the architecture of a historical period marked by the use of vaults, where lighting treated the ceiling in a homogeneous way, accentuating

its structural beauty and being a connecting factor between all other spaces. The lower unit has different uses and needs, so the lighting treat-

ed the spaces as functional, characterizing the present historical period
