一 . 引导词1. 如果陈述句作宾语从句 , 由 that 引导宾语从句 . that 无意义 ,口语中常省略 .

2. 如果一般疑问句作宾语从句 , 由 if/whether( 是否 ) 引导宾语从句 .He asks. Is Li lei six?

He asks if/whether Lilei is six.3. 如果是特殊疑问句作宾语从句 , 则由特殊疑问词引导宾语从句 .

Do you know? Why was he late yesterday?

Do you know why he was late yesterday.

二 . 语序 : 宾语从句要用陈述语序 .

(1)I know. He likes swimming.---- I know that he likes swimming.(2) She wonders. Does Tom get up early?

She wonders if/whether Tom gets up early.

(3)Tom wants to know. When will they come? Tom wants to know when they will come.

三 . 时态1. 当主句是一般现在时的时候 , 宾语从句可根据具体情况用任何时态 .

2. 当主句是一般过去时的时候 , 宾语从句要用过去的某种时态 .

He said. He likes football.----- He said that he liked football.

一般现在时 ------- 一般过去时

一般将来时 ------ - 过去将来时She asked. Will you come here today?

----She asked if/whether we would come here today.

现在进行时 -------- 过去进行时He said. We’re talking now.---- He said that they were talking then.

现在完成时 ------ - 过去完成时They asked. How many times have you been to Beijing?--- They asked how many time we had been to Beijing.

但如果从句在意义表达的是一个客观事实客观真理时 , 则要用一般现在时 .

The teacher told us. The earth travels around the sun.

---The teacher told us (that) the earth travels around the sun.

注意人称在意义上的一致性 .

The teacher asked me . Are you free?

--- The teacher asked me if I was free.

注意的几个问题 :1. 当主句的谓语动词是 think ,believe ,guess, suppose 等 ,

且主句的主语是第一人称时 , 通常否定主句动词 . I think he will come. 否定句I don’t think he will come.

We believe she can swim. 否定句We don’t believe she can swim.

2. 这种前置否定的宾语从句变反意问句的主谓 , 要与从句的主谓保持一致 .

I don’t think he is right, is he ?3. 如果主句的主语是第二 . 三人称时 , 否定词一般不转移 ,

它的反意问句要与主句一致 .He thinks Lily can’t go with us, doesn’t he?
