RFID location awareness system and benchmarking & deployment optimization射頻識別定位系統及射頻識別基準檢測和部署優化
Locaware是射頻識別定位系統(LOCation AWARE)的簡稱，出自
於已取專利發明(專利號：1095991)，是一項以射頻識別技術為基
本，最新興的物體追蹤技術。該發明包含了如何運用射頻識別器
材，執行物體追蹤的方法學。
由於大部分RFID應用效能的測試、分析和優化，是基於有關RFID
基準檢測和優化的專利發明(專利號：1095702)，理大開發了一套
射頻識別部署優化器(RFID-DO)，用以測量、評估、基準檢測、和
優化射頻識別應用的實施和部署。
Locaware, which stands for LOCation AWARE, is a newly RFID-
based object tracking technology based on the patented invention
(1095991 – Apparatus and method for identifying object movement
and location with RFID device). The invention covers the methodology
of RFID device implementation for object tracking.
For analyzing and optimizing the performance of the RFID application,
a software package called RFID Deployment Optimizer (RFID-DO)
has been developed to provide a tool for measuring, evaluating,
benchmarking, and optimizing RFID applications in the deployment
process based on the patent in benchmarking and deployment
optimization method.
