London is the capital city of the UK.It´s in the south-east of England, on the river Thames.It´s smaller than NY but bigger than many European cities. More than seven million people live in London and millions of tourists visit the city every year. 

The UK's currency is the pound sterling (£ / GBP). Despite being a member of the European Union the UK has not adopted the euro. Notes are £5, £10, £20 and £50.Coins are in 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2.
