LetzRoll Offroad Racing is going to Mexico FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE APRIL 29, 2014 MESA, ARIZONA. LetzRoll Offroad Racing is racing the NORRA Mexican 1000 down the Baja peninsula May 10 – 14, 2014. Andrew McLaughlin (with Alan Johnson and Jason Hurst as codrivers and navigators) will be racing the ESAB Welding & Cutting #4493 from Ensenada to San Jose Del Cabo; a total of 1309 miles across the harsh and beautiful Mexico terrain. Racing in the Ultra 4x4 class, the NORRA 1000 marks LetzRoll Offroad Racing’s first Mexico race with the #4493. The entire race experience will be brought to you via social media, presented by ESAB Welding & Cutting. The tough desert terrain will provide a showcase and brutal proving ground for ADS Offroad Racing Shocks, Yukon Gear and Axle, ARTEC Industries (truss), Pacific Fab (motor), Raceline Wheels, Tireballs, Ballistic Fab, Goodyear Tires, Solid Axle Industries, Dutchman Motorsports, and Spyder Auto (lights – race buggy and chase trucks). Contingency is May 10 th with racing action starting May 11 14. The NORRA 1000 is a stage race, consisting of 4 stages spanning the entire Baja peninsula. The team will be updating and uploading race information each night (as internet connection allows). Ed Pearlman is the man who first organized the Mexican 1000, cofounded the National OffRoad Racing Association (NORRA) and founded the OffRoad Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF). His legacy of contributions to the development of offroad motorsports is undeniable. The first race to be sanctioned by the organization would be the 1967 "Mexican 1000 Rally" beginning in Tijuana and racing from Ensenada to La Paz. 68 vehicles started the race competing in four

classes.  For  the  first  time  different  types  of  vehicles  would  compete  against  each  other.  After  the  first  vehicle,  the  Myers  Manx  Buggy  driven  by  Vic  Wilson  and  Ted  Mangels  came  across  the  line  Pearlman  knew  he  had  an  event  that  held  great  potential.    LetzRoll  Offroad  Racing  is  a  Mesa,  Arizona  based  desert  race  team  that  includes  4  cars  in  3  classes  on  2  continents.    Andrew  McLaughlin,  the  owner  of  LetzRoll  Offroad,  along  with  Alan  Johnson,  Matt  Salyers,  and  Mike  Robertson  (UK)  comprise  a  team  of  drivers  and  vehicles  that  finished  top  10  in  the  King  of  the  Hammers  in  their  respective  classes,  won  consecutive  Dirt  Riot  National  Championships,  won  multiple  regional  championships,  delivered  back  to  back  top  10  King  of  the  Valleys  finishes,  and  are  consistently  on  the  podium  race  after  race.    LetzRoll  Offroad  Racing  continues  to  expand  with  additional  races  in  Europe,  Mexico,  and  the  United  States.
