Luthier Japonais à Paris
1979 年 東京都立国立高校卒業
1980 年 成城大学文芸学部芸術学科に入学。入学と同時に同大学オーケストラのレストロ・アルモニコ管弦楽団に入団してヴァイオリンを弾き始め、新日本フィルのコンサート・ミストレスの常光氏、東京都交響楽団の亀井俊夫氏と中西利通氏に師事、薫陶を受ける。(レストロ・アルモニコ管弦楽団では 1982 年次のコンサート・マスターを勤めた。)
1984 年 同学科音楽史・音楽学専攻(戸口幸策ゼミ)を卒業、東京都目黒の東京弦楽 ( 株 ) に入社。当時の工房では佐藤正人、前田幸雄、山本皓司各氏の弟子などが働いていて、楽器及び弓の修理・調整・メンテナンス技術を学んだ。
1991 年 アメリカ及びヨーロッパを巡り、ロンドンの Beare、Ealing Strings、クレモナの Pierangelo Barzalini、シカゴの Bein&Fuscie、同じくシカゴでクレモナ・コンクール優勝者の松田鉄雄氏の工房 ,パリの Pascal&Bernard Camurat、 Jean-François Raffin などを訪れた後に帰国。特にロンドンの Beare の工房とクレモナの Pierangelo Barzalini の工房での滞在では大きな影響を受けた。
(Pierangelo Balzarini 氏は 1988 年のクレモナ国際コンクールで優勝。直後の充実感と希望に満ちた当人に会うことができてその後の目標の一人となった。)
同年、帰国後に ( 有 ) バイオリン・リサーチに入社。日本を代表するヴァイオリンメーカーの一人で同社の技術統括ディレクターである大川文夫氏の下で製作及び修復を学ぶ。
また、並行して様 な々オーケストラにて演奏活動を続け、1991 年頃に横浜シティフィルハーモニックに入団(1993 年〜 2004 年コンサート・マスター)。多くの社会人オーケストラへの賛助出演、室内楽のコンサートの公演などを行う。
2006 年からイタリアのボローニャに移り、イタリアにて製作を開始。2009 年 &2012 年のクレモナ国際コンクールに出品。
ボローニャでは自宅での製作・修理の仕事と並行して、クレモナの Morassi、モデナの L.Frignani、サン・ポロのM.Piccinotti、パルマの Scrollavezza&Zanré、ミラノの L.Rossi、ボローニャの R.Regazzi、A.Urso、トリノのメーカーなど様 な々製作者と交流。パリ、ロンドン、フランクフルトなど各地の音楽界の様子も見つつ、製作と研鑽。
2016 年 5 月にイタリアのパルマに移動。
2017 年には、東京都交響楽団ヴィオラ奏者の中山良夫氏に依頼された 5 弦のヴィオラを製作。 同年 11 月に東京で行われた同氏のリサイタルで披露され高い評価を受けた。
2018 年 10 月に、「楽器と弓の融合の完成」をめざしてフランスのパリに移動。有名な Vatelot et Rampal, J-F.& Sandrine Raffin, J-J.Millant et Le Canu, Bernard Sabatier などと交流している。
日本弦楽器製作者協会会員。

Toyomi KitagakiBorn in 1960.In 1979 graduate from Tokyo metropolitan high school " Kunitachi ", from 1980 I studied at Seijo Univ. of Tokyo, and I started play the violin with the "L'estro Armonico Orchestra" of this university.
I studied violin and orchestra performing under Maestro Toshimichi Nakanishi and Toshio kaei, they are the members of Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra, and Maestra Tsunemitsu, she is a concert-maîtresse of New-Japan Philharmonic,
then in 1983, I played as a concert-master of L'Estro Armonico. And I studied the History of the classical music and musicology under Kousaku Toguchi, is Professor of the european music and opera.In 1984 after the university, I started luthier's career at Tokyo Gengaku (company's name means Tokyo Stringed Instruments ).
- in this workshop I worked with several violin makers, they learned under M˚ Masato Sato, Yukio Maeda, Koji Yamamoto etc., and I learned from them on the repaire, adjustment-tuning and maintenance of instruments (also of bows).
In 1991 I go around in Europe and United States, visited Beare's shop of London, Pierangelo Balzarini of Cremona, Bein&Fuscie of Chicago, Pascal&Bernard Camurat and Jean-François Raffin in Paris, etc...After this visitation I joind in the luthier&dealer " Violin Research " of Tokyo, and learned violin making and restration (also of bows) under the celebrated principal maestro luther & tecnical director Fumio Ohkawa.
(and from 1984 I also join for many amateur orchestras for perform and 1993 - 2004 I played as a concertmaster of Yokohama City Philharmonic, and, I studied under Mme Yuko Mori, she is a famous violinist, for about 30 years played in Paris.)
In 2006 I moved to Bologna of Italy for violin making and bow-adjustment, and joined International Triennial Competition of Stringed Instrument Making Antonio Stradivari in 2009 and 2012, in 2016 I moved to Parma.
(In Italy, while making and adjusting instruments and bows I associate with many violin makers , Lorenzo Rossi of Milan, Frignani, Piccinotti, Scrollavezza&Zanrè of Parma, Regazzi, A. Urso, B.Stefanini of Bologna, etc.).
And, in2018, I moved in Paris.now a member of the Japan Stringed Instrument Makers Association.
*My instruments are owned by famous players in Japan, and 2017 I made a 5 strings viola for Mr. Yoshio Nakayama, a violist of Tokyo Metroporitan Symphony Orchestra.
