Everywhere the loud and noisyhum of voices; with a rattlingbamboo staff, split at the top, away is cleared in front.- The girlwith the iron rod with theclattering rings, who looks like awoman and yet like a man, is notshe the beautiful Tekona fromMama?- A pretty girl at the raisedwindow adds colour and fragrance
to the tenderness of the plum andthe weeping willow tree in front ofthe house; and then thedancing-stages everywhere, so thatright and left there is somethingbeautiful to see.-
