Mechatronics provides more effective solution, because Eurosens Dominator RS has both RS232 and RS485 interfaces onboard, as well as K-Line. Sensors can be connected in Network, where one sensor works as a master and calculates total fuel volume in all tanks.

Many vehicles have several fuel tanks. Many popular GPS trackers have only RS232 interface. RS232 interface is made for only

one device connection. So, you can't connect more than one precise fuel level sensor with digital output.

Eurosens fuel flow sensors Direct and Delta

Usually flow meters are used for:

■ Measuring real fuel consumption.

■ Definition of fuel limits for given tasks.

■ Engine test stands.

■ Motor-hours detection

■ Economy-assistant systems

Eurosens fuel flow meters Direct and Delta are working on a rotary piston technology that is the best choice for precise measurement of small fuel rates (from 1 to 500 liters per hour).It can measure a real fuel consumption on vehicles, diesel-generators, ships, boilers etc together with AVL tracking devices or as standalone unit.

Some engines have a return fuel line from engine to tank, so it is impossible to measure the fuel consumption without much re-engineering of the fuel supply system. Mechatronics has two types of fuel flow meters – single-channel Direct and differential Delta. With two metering chambers Delta measures both supply and return fuel lines and calculates the difference which is the real fuel consumption.

Delta PN100 – differential fuel meter for installation on modern diesel engines with power up to 150 KWt.

Direct PN100 – popular fuel meter for installation on simple oldschool diesel engines, fuel system modification is needed.

Delta RS500I – high-performance fuel flow meter for installation on powerful engines up to 500 KWt. Digital interface allows to connect several flow meters per single data logger and collect fuel consumption data and operation modes of engine.

Delta PN250I – most popular differential fuel meter for installation at eny engines with power up to 300 KWt. Version with display.

In case there is some air in the fuel line it is necessary to install a special device –Deaerator. Mechatronics is the only manufacturer of deaerators used in fuel consumption measurement.

Axle load sensorsAxle load measurement is an important problem in AVL tracking business. Mechatronics produces axle load sensors for vehicles with air suspension or leaf-spring suspension.

There is an input shaft in the sensorwith every turn of which the sensor changesits output analog signal.

The pneumatic axle load sensor is installed in a pneumatic suspension system and measures the current pressure in the suspension balloon. This pressure is proportional to axle load.

Both axle load sensors are compatible with any AVL trackers with analog (voltage) measuring input.

Eurosens Dizziliquid level sensor

Ultrasonic level sensor Dizzi can be usedfor non-contact level measurement of acoustically transparent liquids.

The level is measured byecholocation through the bottom of the tank.

Dizzi is glued to the tank or reservoir, therefore no changes caused at the original factory design of the reservoir tank are needed.

The best position for the probe is determined with the help of acoustic gel and service software showing the signal level when the probe is tightly pressed and moved along the tank surface.

Installation

The sensor probe is fixed in the determined position with the help of glue and a metal tie.

Dizzi measures the liquid level correctly even with some dust on the bottom of the tank, with no data lost. For further details please refer to the installation guide.
