Vorwort:

Am F Dm GThere’s nothing left here to remind me, just a memory of your face,

Am F Dm GAnd you coming back to me is against all odds, and that’s why I’ve got to face.

Kein Verlust

( Grönemeyer )

1. Hast lange gewartet, auf Deinen großen Sprung

Hast mich vorne bedauert, mich verleugnet hintenrum

Hast meine Schwäche genossen, Dein unendlicher Kampf

Hast mich still erduldet, immer Haltung bewahrt

Lay down Sally

A D

There is nothing that is wrong in wanting you to stay here with me.

A D

I know you've got somewhere to go but won't you make yourself at home and stay with me?

E

And don't you ever leave.

A D

Lay down, Sally, and rest you in my arms.

E A

Don't you think you want someone to talk to?

A D

Lay down, Sally, no need to leave so soon.

E A

I've been trying all night long just to talk to you.

The sun ain't nearly on the rise

and we still got the moon and stars above.

Underneath the velvet skies

love is all that matters, won't you stay with me?

And don't you ever leave.

I long to see the morning light

colouring your face so dre amily.

So don't you go and say goodbye,

you can lay your worries down and stay with me.

And don't you ever leave.

Nothing compares 2 U

( Sinead O'Connor )

1. [C]It's been seven hours and [G]fifteen days

[Am]since you took your love away [C][G]

[C]I go out every night and [G]sleep all day

[Am]since you took your love away [C][G]

like a bird without a song

nothing can stop these lonely tears from falling

tell me baby where did I go [F]wrong?

I could put my arms around every boy I see

but they only remind me of U.

I went to the doctor and guess what he told me guess what he told me

he said: "girl U better try to have fun no matter what U do" but he's a fool

'cos nothing compares, nothing compares 2U.

3. All the flowers that U planted mama

in the back yard

all died when U went away

I know that living with U baby was sometimes hard

but I'm willing 2 give U another try

'cos nothing compares, nothing compares 2U.

Ode to my family

( Dolores O’Riordan )

Akkorde im ganzen Lied: D , Hm , F#m , G , A7

1. Understand the things I say, don’t turn away from me

‘Cause I spent half my life out there, you wouldn’t disagree

D’you see me, d’you see me, d’you like me, do you like me standing there ?

D’you notice, d’you know, do you see me, do you see me, does anyone care ?

Ref.: Unhappiness, where’s when I was young and we didn’t give a damn

‘Cause we were raised to see life as a fun and take it if we can

My mother, my mother, she hold me, she hold me when I was out there

My father, my father he liked me, oh, he liked me, does anyone care ?

2. Understand what I’ve become, it wasn’t my desire

and people everywhere think something is better than I am

But I miss you, I miss, ‘cause I liked it, I liked it when I was out there

D’you know this, d’you know, you did not find me, you did not find, does anyone care?
