Inrecentyears, theneedforlowpowerelectroniccircuitslikesensorsandwirelesssystemshasbeenconsideredbymanyresearchers.Excessiveweight, limitedlifetimeofthebatteriesandalsothe problem of replacing them, are the main reasons for harvesting energy from ambientvibrations. Among the various sources of environmental energy, mechanical vibrations havegainedinpopularityduetotheiravailability.Betweenthedifferentmethodsofambientvibrationenergy harvesting, piezoelectric method, isoneof thegoodways to harvest energydue to thefavorableeffectsofelectromechanicalcoupling.Themostcommonmeansofharvestingenergyfrom vibrations is a cantilevered beam with one or more piezoelectric layers. In the presentpaper,electricalenergyharvestingfromEuler-Bernoullitrapezoidalcantileveredunimorphbeamwithbaseexcitationusingdistributedparametermethodhasbeenconsidered.First,equationsofmotionareanalyticallyobtainedandthenusingAssumedmodesmethod(forrectangularbeam),systemsnaturalfrequenciesarecalculatedandoutputvoltage,currentandpowerdiagramsarepresented. For verifying results, presented voltage, current and power output diagrams fortrapezoidalconfigurationclosetorectangularconfiguration,theresultsofwhicharepublishedinreferences,willbecompared.Then,functionalparametersfortrapezoidalenergyharvesterwithresistancevaluechangesforenergyconsumerhavebeenanalyzed.
