MODELOWA HYBRYDOWA TECHNOLOGIA OBRÓBKI POWIERZCHNIOWEJ ZWIĘKSZAJĄCA TRWAŁOŚĆ MATRYC DO WYCISKANIA CIENKOŚCIENNYCH PROFILI ALUMINIOWYCH
Obróbka plastyczna stopów aluminium przez wyciskanie znajduje sze-rokie zastosowanie w: przemyśle budowlanym (stolarka okienna i drzwiowa, elementy konstrukcyjne rusztowań i ścianek działowych, drabiny, listwy ozdobne), wyposażeniu wnętrz (meble, kabiny prysznicowe, żaluzje, karnisze), przemyśle transportowym (pro-file burtowe, elementy naczep i kontenerów), przemyśle samochodowym (elementy konstrukcyjne), przemyśle elektrycznym (radiatory, obudowy) i innych (maszty łodzi żaglowych, reklamy, gabloty wystawowe, bramki do gry w piłkę).

MODEL HYBRID SURFACE TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY INCREASING DURABILITY OF DIES FOR THE EXTRUSION OF THIN-WALLED ALUMINUM PROFILES
The PN + Ti/TiB2 hybrid layer is composed of the nitrided layer (PN) and the PVD (Ti/TiB2) coating. It increases the durability of dies for the extrusion of thin-walled aluminum profiles. The developed technology of hybrid layer manufacture is a two-step process consisting of plasma nitriding and the deposition of the PVD Ti/TiB2 coating. The designed coating is characterized by high hardness, good adhesion to the
substrate, and high surface smoothness.
The PVD Ti/TiB2 hybrid layer can be used in the machine and tool industries as a coating for production tools intended for forming of non-ferrous metals, particularly dies for the extrusion of thin-walled aluminum profiles. Forming of aluminium alloys through their extrusion is widely applied in the construction industry (windows and doors, scaffoldings, partition walls, ladders, decorative skirtings), interior equipment (furniture, shower cabins, blinds, curtain rails), transportation (side profiles, elements of semi-trailers and containers), automotive industry (structural elements), electrical industry (radiators, casings), and others (masts, billboards, exhibition cabinets, soccer goals).
