From the access, patio, living room, the large porch and pool area, our tour is dominated by the sea views. The stone floor, the dry stone wall, and Iroko wood carpentry evoke the natural environment of woo-ded hillside to which the house is connected to through the large openings and windows. The porch becomes a key area to enjoy the privileged scenery and for the climate control.

Des de l’accés, el pati, la sala d’estar, el gran porxo i la piscina són els espais de transició d’un recorregut dominat per les vistes del mar. El travertí que vesteix el terra, el mur de pedra en sec de les parets, i la fusta d’iroko de les fus-teries juguen amb les sensacions naturals que evoca l’entorn bos-cós de la vessant de la muntanya amb què connecta la vivenda a través de les finestres i grans obertures.El porxo es converteix en una es-tança clau, tant pel control climàtic com per ser la zona privilegiada des d’on disfrutar del paisatge.

Una zona exterior arrassarada de la tramuntatana i acondicionada amb bancs d’obra i una xemeneia conformen una zona de relax exterior.

The outside porch is protected from the local wind, Tramuntana, and from the sun, the area has a sitting area and a chimney to fully relax in the outside space.

La piscina desbordant sembla prolongar-se fins al mar.

The line of the overflowing pool merges with the sea.

El pati interior garanteix una bona qualitat de la il·luminació inte-rior durant tot el dia, evitant els forts contrastos i juntament amb l’escala volada, alleugera la sen-sació pesant del travertí.

The inside patio provides an extremely good lighting indoors during the day, and the light stair-case softens the stone flooring.

La parcel·la limita amb el camp de golf i el projecte s’adapta al te-rreny de manera que tota la planta principal quedi al mateix nivell que el camp. L’espai que ocupen la sala, el menjador, la cuina i el porxo es vesteix amb un sostre de bigues metàl·liques i encadellat ceràmic. Tot el paviment de l’habitatge és de pedra natural.

The plot limits with the Golf Cour-se and the housing project has adapted to the landscape so that the whole main floor is at the Golf course level.The roof of the living room, dining and porch has metallic beams with ceramic tiles. The floors are all of natural stone.

The roof design gives a perfect visual communication between kitchen, dining, living room and porch also functioning as indepen-dent spaces thanks to the configu-ration of the space.

La vivenda s’emplaça a Sa Riera, amb vistes sobre el mar.La vivenda s’encasta en el terreny i els espais es configuren amb forta linealitat per tal d’aconseguir una bona integració de l’edifici a l’entorn. A la zona central de la vi-venda sobre el menjador es situa un doble espai que comunica amb una zona d’estudi i llibreria.

This house is in Sa Riera, with outstanding sea views.The actual building follows the line of the terrain and all the spaces are very linear so that it integrates into the landscape. The central area is the dining room with a double space which communicates with a study area and a library.

La zona de dia, que es situa en planta baixa, s’extèn més enllà dels límits de la façana gràcies als espais de transició amb l’exterior com són les pèrgoles i porxos.La llum que entra a través de les grans obertures de façana es ta-mitza amb mallorquines de fusta.

The day area is on the ground floor, and extendzs further into the exterior space thanks to the porch and the pergola.The daylight enters through the great openings and filters through the wooden venetian blinds.

The configuration of the building is such to ensure the maximum garden space at the same level as the day area of the house.

La configuració de l’edifici és d’una gran linealitat per aconse-guir una bona integració en la parcel·la i assegurant la màxima superficie de jardí al mateix nivell de la zona de dia.

La concepció de la casa és la d’un pavelló que recolza suaument sobre el terreny.L’espai interior annegat de llum pels alts finestrals es fusiona amb l’entorn immediat exterior. The guest’s house has been designed as a light structure in the garden, the inside space is inundated with natural light so that the space gels with exterior.

La xemeneia exterior amb la seva verticalitat ancla l’edifici a terra i afegeix la naturalitat i calidesa de la pedra a l’entorn immediat.

The exterior chimney´s vertical li-nes visually anchor the building to the ground, and the natural stone finish blends it into the garden.

El mobiliari és dissenya específi-cament per a cada espai, deter-minant la seva funció. The furniture and furnishing are chosen specifically for every space.

La vivenda es desenvolupa en una sola planta en una parcel·la plana. L’accés a la vivenda es realitza a través de l’espai en-tre el volum del garatge i el de l’edificació principal. La pròpia configuració de l’edificació princi-pal genera diferents espais exte-riors a conveniència, depenent de de l’ús que se li donarà.

The house is developed on one level, following the land. The access is between the volume for the garage and the main building. The configuration of the interior is influenced by the exterior chan-ging according to the require-ments.

S’ha donat importància al trac-tament exterior de la parcel·la . L’entorn exterior de cada estança es diferencia definint diferents zones jardinades que dinamitzen l’entorn.The outside space has been crucial in this project, as the immediate outside space of each room has been given a different treatment.

El sostre es vesteix deixant les bigues i els revoltons a la vista.

La parcel·la té un fort desnivell i es situa a la vessant de la mun-tanya. L’accés a la vivenda és realitza des de la planta superior, a on es situen les habitacions. La zona d’estar, cuina i menja-dor estan a la planta baixa amb contacte amb el nivell del jardí i la piscina desbordant. Un gran porxo presideix la zona d’estar i és un espai de transició entre l’interior i l’exterior.

This plot has quite an incline as it is situated on the slope of a hill. The access to house is by the top floor where we can find the bedrooms. The living, kitchen and dining room are on the ground floor in contact with the garden and the overflowing pool.A great porch joins the exterior space with the interior areas.

La vivenda es situa al final de la parcel·la per aconseguir una bona orientació. La zona de dia es situa a la planta baixa en contacte amb el jardí. Sobre la zona de menjador es projecta un doble espai que comunica amb la zona de circu-lacions de la planta primera a on habilitant un escriptori es conver-teix en una estança més.

The house has been placed at the end of the plot to achieve the best orientation possible. The day area is on the bottom floor and is in contact with the garden. Above the dining room there is a double space creating the study as an additional space.

La vivenda situada a un barri residencial del poble de Begur, té vocació de ‘barraca’ pel cap de setmana d’un resident de Pala-frugell. Les Xefles, reunió social tradicional que té lloc al voltant de l’espai del menjador, determi-nen la situació principal d’aquest espai.

Designed as a summer house in Begur, for a family from Pa-lafrugell to enjoy the winter and summer weekends. “Les Xefles” traditional family and social reunions are centered around the dining room, so this space is the main feature in the design.

Un panel·lat fa desaparéixer la cuina i l’accés al bany situat en la planta baixa.

Des de l’accés es percep la màxima profunditat de la parcel·la, a través de l’estar, la pèrgola i la piscina. La zona d’estar i menja-dor comuniquen amb una cuina que domina la seva presència sobre el jardí a través d’una fines-tra amb forma de caixa. Aquest volum és de pedra i contrasta amb la lleugeresa de la pèrgola que li fa costat.

From the entrance there is a clear visual line through the house to the pool and pergola. The living area is connected with the dining and kitchen overlooking the garden thanks to a grand window. The square kitchen volume in natural stone is a strong contrast to the light pergola beside it in the garden.

La vivenda entre mitgeres aprofita el desnivell del pati interior, situat 1,5m per damunt del carrer, per configurar la zona de dia en mit-ges plantes que conformen un sol espai. Aquesta configuració de la planta baixa, inusual en vivendes d’aquesta tipologia, permet que diferents usuaris comparteixin el gran espai podent realitzar dife-rents usos sense interferir-ne els uns amb els altres.Una pèrgola extén l’espai interior sobre el pati.

Terrace house, the different levels between the building and the rear patio, 1,5 m above the street level, are used to give this house an exceptional sense of space.The day area is distributed into different levels, although integra-ted in one volume. This configura-tion of the ground floor, is unusual for terrace houses, allowing the family to share this great spaces without interference between them.A pergola extends the inside spa-ce into the rear garden.

La vivenda de nova planta dóna el màxim aprofitament a la planta baixa com a espai únic. A la zona central de la vivenda es situa un doble espai il·luminat des de la coberta i que comunica la plan-ta baixa amb la planta primera donant vida a la zona de pas i distribució de la planta primera.

This house has been designed with one large open space on the ground floor. The central area is a double space lighted from the roof which communicates the ground floor with the first floor.

La cuina es separa del menjador amb una gelosia de fusta que no trenca la continuitat de l’espai entre cuina, menjador, sala d’estar i jardí. Es dissenya un racó de lectura amb la concepció del bowindow anglés, amb un disseny actual.

The kitchen and dining room is only separated between a see-through wooden structure giving continuity to the kitchen, dining and living area and the garden.There is a reading corner with a modern design replicating the idea of the English bay window.

La remunta de la planta baixa es projecta seguint les directrius de la construccio existent, simplifi-cant la volumetria mitjançant linies rectes. La façana d’accés s’endarrereix respecte el primer pla i es pro-tegeix amb lames de fusta de pi cuperitzat ja que la seva oritenta-ció és oest.

Renovation in La Fosca, Palamós.The upper floor has been projec-ted following the existing ground floor, simplifying the volumes with straight lines.The rear west façade is set back and protected by pine wooden slats.

El projecte potencia l’ús de la nova planta coberta, amb vistes sobre la platja de Tamariu i adapta la segona planta, també de nova construcció, a les necessitats del client, maximitzant els espais i les visuals. El pati interior dóna vida a les estances que l’envolten.

This also provides pedestrian access to the house from the back street.

La zona de cuina, menjador i estar conformen un sol espai que rep llum de dues façanes, la del carrer i la del pati.Kitchen, dining room and living room are one space in between the patio and the front of the house.
