 * Over first quarter of 2012 Regulated Institutions experienced an active client’s increase of 49,475 (0.9%); In absolute terms, Crediamigo in Brazil was the institution in this group that experienced the highest increase during period with 66,049 clients (4.9%).  Furthermore, this group grew its active portfolio by US$26.1 million (0.4%). And Compartamos in Peru was the institution in this group that increased the most in this variable: 176.7 million (15.4%).

* During first quarter of 2013 the Service Companies, decreased clients by ‐2,048 (‐1.4%). In absolute terms, Sogesol in Haiti experienced the largest decrease, with ‐1,501 active clients. As far as active portfolio, this group also decreased at a rate of ‐1.4% (‐US$1.9 million). And also Sogesol was the institution that recorded the highest decrease in this variable: ‐US$1.9 million (‐9.5%).

* NGO active clients decreased by 6,525 (‐2.9%). In absolute terms, Genesis Empresarial  in Guatemala experienced the highest decrease, with 6,381 active clients (‐3.8%). As far as active portfolio, this group decrease US$2.7 million (‐2.1%) and also Genesis Empresarial was the institution that recorded the most decrease in this variable: ‐US$4.1 million (‐4.4%).

* Partners in Africa and Asia recorded a growth of 11,003 clients (6.3%). In absolute terms, Saija in India experienced the highest increase, with 5,710 clients. As far as active portfolio, this group reflected a increasing of US$2.8 million (2.7%). And Swadhaar in India was the institution of the group that recorded the growth in this variable: US$4.7 million (28.4%).

PORTFOLIO IN ARREARS > 30 DAYS – COMPARISON DECEMBER 2012 / MARCH 2013 

  

The group of Regulated Institutions experienced an increase in its portfolio at risk (0.6 points). Furthermore, its indicator is below the weighted average of all institutions by 0.04 points.  

Service companies increased 1.09 percentage points, which places this group above the total weighted average by 1.94 points.  

The group of NGOs showed an increased by 1.01 points during this period. It remains below the weighted average of the total portfolio at risk by 0.97 points.  

The group of partners in Africa and Asia increased its portfolio at risk by 0.35 points and it still remains 0.9 points above the weighted average.
