_Bei Faust heißt es noch: „Zwei Seelen wohnen, ach! in meiner Brust“Gestalter fragen sich immer: „Soll ich auffallen oder etwas Dauerhaftes entwerfen?“ Um die-sen Konflikt zu entschärfen machen wir aus dem „ODER“ ein „UND“.

Aufgabe:Wählen Sie aus den nachfolgenden Möbelkate-gorien eine aus: Stuhl, Armlehnstuhl, Esstisch, Schreibtisch, Kleiderschrank, Aktenschrank, Re-gal, Medienboard, Bett, Stockbett, Kommode, Sessel, Anrichte...

1. Entwerfen Sie im ersten Schritt ein im besten Sinne schreiendes, auffallendes, zeitgeistiges Ob-jekt, das in jeder Gazette Einzug hält.2. Setzen Sie im zweiten Schritt einen Entwurf dagegen, der das Zeug zum Klassiker hat. Lassen Sie sich von einem Statik-Guru inspirieren, ver-suchen Sie Prinzipien anzuwenden oder ikonifi-zieren Sie ein Produkt und “feilen” Sie an Ihrem Entwurf bis zum perfekten Ende.

_Die innere Schönheit findet sich noch in jedem Wesen wieder... Bei dieser Leuchte ist sie sprichwörtlich nach aussen gekehrt. Was mittlerweile das Rapid-Prototyping zelebriert, hat hier die Natur in Form eines Kuhmagens geschaffen. Dieser ist der Grundbaustein der Pansenleuchte, die aus der Aufhängung wie eine Frucht zu wachsen scheint. Sie ist angeschlossen an einen automatischen Dimmer, welcher ein Pulsieren des Lichtes bewirkt. Material: Netzmagen vom Rind getrocknet, gegossener Naturkautschuk matt lackiert, automatischer DimmerLeuchtmittel Energiespar lampe

_Dieses Möbel kann die Beziehung zweier Sitzender genau beleuchten. Zwei verschieb bare, schwarze Kuben sind verbunden mit einem Faltenbalg, durch welchen das Licht je nach Nähe der Kuben zuein-ander heller oder dunkler scheint. Sitzen zwei Personen eng beeinander, ist der Schein schwach, halten die Sitzenden jedoch Abstand leuchtet das Möbel mit voller Kraft. _Das Objekt “hunger deLuxe” ist nur das Skelett eines Tisches. Er repräsentiert die Gegensätzlich-keit einer Gesellschaft des Überflusses und ihrer innewohnenden Leere. Material: 20 mm Stahlrohr verschweisst, mit 10 mm Stahlrohr,verspachtelt mit Glasfaser und Feinspachtel, Oberfläche lackiert;

_base _Konrad Lohöfener

_base ist vorallem ein modularer Arbeitstisch, dessen Alter Ego sich selbstverteidigend durch den Design-alltag schlägt. Grundelement des Arbeitstisches sind vier Baseballschläger. Sie tragen die gesamte Tischplatte und können im Ernstfall jederzeit problemlos abmontiert werden, um sich zu verteidigen.

_12 schwer ist ein 12 kg leichtes Regal aus High-Tech-Material. Aluminiumstangen, umspannt mit einer textilen Membran, tragen die gesamte Last und lassen das Regal optisch schweben.

Der Entwurf 12 schwer erhielt den Stutt garter Leichtbaupreis 2008.

_MöBiL überzeugt durch sein einfaches Konzept: Vier Leichtbauwände, Deckel und Rückwand werden alle von dem Latexband, ohne jede Art von Beschlag, gehalten und verbunden. Dadurch ist es leicht zusammen zu bauen und schnell herzustellen. Die Modulboxen können rutschfest gestapelt werden und bilden, je nach Anord-nung, immer wieder ein individuelles Möbel.

_Lessig ist ein Regal aus gelaserten Metall böden, die durch landesübliche Flaschen gestapelt und ausgesteift werden. Seine leichte Erscheinung bietet auf jeder Ebene 1900mm x 350mm Stellfläche. Je nach Wunsch kann hoch oder tief gestaplet werden. Bei einem Umzug werden nur die Metallböden mitgenommen und mit neuen Flaschen geht das Spiel von vorne los...

_Aves _Marlen Hähle

_Aves ist eine Parkbank die für Spatziergänger und Vögel einen Platz zum verweilen bietet. Eine in das Lärchenholz eingelas sene Vogeltränke aus Keramik wird durch Regenwasser gefüllt und so zur Beob-achtungsstation für Vogelliebhaber. Sie kann ebenso zur Aufnahme von Vogelfutter dienen. Aves setzt dadurch ein Zeichen und lässt Mensch und Vögel auf gleicher Augenhöhe Platz nehmen.

_Insignio spielt auf das Markieren und Kennzeichnen an, so wie zum Beispiel viele Dinge im alltäglichen Leben Stempel aufgdrückt oder sogar Chips implantiert bekommen.Diese Bank markiert den Benutzer temporär und hinterlässt auf dessen Rücken eine Nachricht für die Umgebung. Mittels erhaben geprägter Schrift wird die Nachricht übertragen. Als verbindendes kommuni katives Element kann die Bank zum Beispiel am Strand stehen und ihre Benutzer als Kommunikationsobjekt benutzen.

_Der Tisch CanCan setzt die charakteristischen Strümpfe des gleichnamigen französischen Tanzes als konstruktives Element ein. Der Tisch steht als Beispiel für die Möglich-keiten die sich aus modernen Herstellungsprozessen wie Thermo formen, CNCFräsen, Kohlenstofffaserwickeln und selektiven Laser-Sintering ergeben. Ein relativ simpler Aufbau ermöglicht es den Tisch innerhalb kurzer Zeit auf bzw. abzubauen. Die 4 Tischbeine werden einfach auf die Konen der Trägerplatte gesteckt und mittels Bajonettverschluß festgedreht.

_Bäume entziehen der Atmosphäre Kohlendioxid und speichern dieses in Form von Kohlenstoff im Holz. Bei der Sitzgelegenheit "Stubbenhocker" ging es um diesen Zusammenhang der beiden Materialien. Ein dichte Struktur aus Kohlenstoff-fasern bildet die Silhouette eines Baumstumpfes nach. Als Sitzflaeche dient eine Baumscheibe um die die Kohlenstofffasern wie eine schützende Rinde gewunden sind und diese frei tragen.

_Ein skulpturaler Gestaltungs ansatz wurde bei diesem Sitz- und Liegemöbel verfolgt. Unter der Mitwirkung des Bildhauers Wolfgang Dreysse wurden die Proporti-onen detailliert erarbeitet.Um die Form der Ottomane zu unterstützen, fiel die Wahl der Polsterung auf einen leicht changierenden Velourstoff. Der integrierbare Tisch kontrastiert durch ein metallisch glänzendes Kupfergewebe und fungiert auf dem Möbel als Tablett.
