In his lifetime he composed more than 2000 songs,8 novels,short stories,drama,musical drama.he also directed dance drama NATIR PUJA as a film under new theaters.

Rabindranath tagore died on 7th august 1941 in the same house in which he was born jorasanko,thakurbari.
