    1.3  About MVA

MVA stands for Malaysia Virtual Airlines. MVA was started back in 2004and had a great start, we even exhibited at a Flight sim Show at Birmingham

UK, and had a few people join us. But soon after things went down and

MVA was put on hold, and now we have started a new fictional VA which isstill operating. We now have returned and have a better site then the

previous one and a proper domain name. We offer a friendly environment

for all pilots of all skill levels, and offer an environment where people can

learn from one another. Please join the forum as that is one of the best placesto find help on matters regarding FS or MVA's operations. Also you can get

in contact with any member of staff on the forum. We want to give you thefreedom to expand your knowledge of FS and flying and of the operations of

    Malaysia Airlines.

    3.  Launch your FS, start at any location now because we just want tosetup your FSpax now.

    4.  When your aircraft has been loaded. Go to your FsPassengers tab, create a new company and pilot.

    5.  For company settings, you can create a company of your choice but it recommended using Malaysia Virtual Airlines as a company

name. The prefix used is ‘MH’. On step 2, use custom settings andon the final step untick all boxes except the ‘Instant Record of

Flight’6.  For pilot creation, you must put in your MVA ID in the requested

name section for example: MH255. The optional settings are up toyou.

    7.

If you are ready to start your flight, as usual go to MVA’s website

and bid on your flight. Start your FS at the departure location and

make sure engines are off and parking brake is on.8.  Go to FsPassengers tab and select ‘FsPassengers flight’ then ‘Start

    Flight-load aircraft’.

    9.  Set your flight type (normal flight), destination and then go to‘flight & aircraft setting’. You will have to set your flight ID to

your bided flight number for example: MH21. This flight ID isvery important because if you ever forget to fill it in, your PIREP

cannot be recognized by MVA. Now you can start your flight.10. After you landed taxi to the gate, set parking brake, shutdown your

engines and unload your passengers then your flight report should

come out. Close it and on the FsPassengers tab go to ‘Virtualairlines > Malaysia Virtual Airlines > Export flight to VA’ and

export your flight. Your PIREP should be sent now.You can watch the tutorial video here. Feel free to visit our forum of you

    need any help.

3.4  Manual PIREPYou can file PIREP manually if you can’t get any of the flight trackingsoftware working. Just bid on your flight, take a piece of paper and record

    the following data:1.  Departure time

    2.

    Arrival time

    3.  Departure fuel4.

    Arrival fuel

    5.  Flight duration

    6.  Fuel usedWhen the flight is completes, go to MVA’s website & click ‘view my bids’

then click ‘file PIREP’. Fill in your flight data and file it. Also, if you haveflown the flight online in VATSIM, put ‘flown online’ in the comment

section. We would like to remind you we do not allow fraudulent pireps. Weknow how long it takes to fly the routes, so will know when the PIREP is
