My Favorite Pet 江竺颖 Jiang Zhuying

• My favorite pet is my rabbit, a female rabbit. She has white fur, strong legs and long ears. Her fur is very soft, and her eyes look like red diamonds. Her name is “gold bell”. When I call her, she always turns her head and looks at me. She likes to eat carrots and cabbage. When I feed her, she always puts her front leg on my feet; at that time, she looks like a beggar. It is very amazing. Do you think she is very cute and pretty?

My favorite animals are dogs. They have big eyes, a small mouth and white hair. They are very beautiful and fat.

I have a small dog. It is very nice and beautiful. It can run fast and jump really high.

One Saturday, my dog and I went to a park. In the park I saw lots of dogs, but they barked loudly. I don’t like these dogs barking. And my dog was very quiet. I was happy. We left away.

My dog is very lovely and very kind. I like my dog very much.

• Do you know my favorite animal is a little rabbit. It’s black and cute. Her name is Qiuqiu. In morning, Qiuqiu plays with me. We always play hide and seek. I always win, because I often see a rabbit’s tail under table and little head behind chair. If I can’t see her, I can take a carrot from my desk and put it on the floor and go out. After one minute, I can see Qiuqiu is eating the carrot! It always makes me laugh.

At evening, Qiuqiu and I have dinner together. She can eat a lot of food. After dinner we jump on the bed. Qiuqiu can jump really high!

At night before I sleep, I kiss her and go to bed. My rabbit sleeps in her cage. She is very kind and goes to bed. My rabbit is very lovely! I love my rabbit !

• My favorite pet is “ Heihei’’. Do you know what is ‘‘Heihei’’? ‘‘Heihei’’ is a black dog. It is very clever and kind. It has long fur and two brown eyes. Heihei can run fast. It always plays ball with me. It is very happy at that time. So it licks my hands. It is an interesting pet.

Heihei is my best friend, and I really like it.

• Well, I attended a program the semester before last, and I enjoyed myself there a lot until now. At that time I was studying the piano at the China Conservatory, and I entered the chorus at the same place.

My favorite pet is a rabbit. The rabbit’s name is “XiaoTaoqi’’. It is very cute and beautiful. It is very lovely too. Last week, rabbit broke my beautiful glass. I was very angry. I hit the rabbit. Mom said to me “You can’t hit it”. After that she went to the shop to replace the glass. I was very happy. Now the rabbit is very good. It never breaks anything else. My rabbit eats lots of vegetables. When it is the rabbit’s eating time, I put some vegetables in the cage. The rabbit eats like a mad man.

My favorite pet is a “panda rabbit”. Its name is Jane. Do you know what “panda rabbit” is? It’s a sort of rabbit that has black spots and white fur. It’s ears are black, and it has black eye rings. So it’s called that name. I love it very much! It is very cute!

“Panda rabbit” likes to eat a lot of food. It likes to eat meat. Many people think it only eats vegetables and fruits, but it really likes to eat meat. Everyday when I go to school, I give it a lot of food; when I come back home, I feed it and play with it. At that time, I feel very happy!

I do many interesting things with my lovely rabbit! For example, I go to the park with my lovely rabbit every weekend. One day, the sun was shining, we played on a grassy land. A cute girl came over. She liked my rabbit very much. She wanted to touch it, but my rabbit bit her finger. She cried loudly at once. I think maybe my rabbit thought that was a carrot, because her finger was red at that time. It’s very interesting!

But, good time is not very long. My rabbit was lost. When my mother told me it was lost, I felt very sad. That day was my birthday. On my birthday party, I looked very happy, but in fact, I was very sad. After that day, I thought maybe it didn’t run away, then I went out looked for it. It really didn’t run away. I put it in the cage, then I went home!

Many people think rabbit is very smelly. I don’t think so, because I love it, so I don’t think it is very smelly. But, my parents don’t like it. They think it is very smelly. They think rabbit runs in room is not good, because the room will be very dirty.

Next they wanted to eat it, but I didn’t agree. Then they asked me, “We want to eat it, and you didn’t agree, so we want to send it to the shop. If you want to see it, you can go there to see it. Do you agree?” I didn’t agree too.

In the future, if I have a rabbit, I think I should feed it many fresh vegetables, play with it more time. I think I need to buy some toys for it. For example, I can buy a ball, a small car and so on. I think it will be happy when rabbit plays with toys!
