Design Objectives

Have good cement across liner lap and at Shoe.

Achieve zonal isolation of the reservoirs

Perform job with no downtime, spillage or incident

Slurry Design

The slurry design will make use of D600G (GasblockTM), this

additive permit a very good bonding between casing and

cement and cement and formation.

The slurry will cover several permeable zones, therefore

Fluid Loss additives (D168) will be used.

The slurry is to be mixed at 15.8 ppg, which will cover the

whole length of liner up to 100 ft above the liner hanger.

Contingency Plans Bumping of the top dart is not observed

Check displacement tank. If it corresponds to the theoretical volume, a maximum of 50% of the shoe track volume may be pumped again.

Failure in the Float Equipment (Collar, Shoe or both of them)Pump again the backflow. Wait for few minutes. Check for backflow. If it continues, the returned fluid must be pumped again. Later on, proceed to POOH with the Drill Pipe immediately at controlled speed.

Cementing Job Execution Procedure1. Once casing is on bottom, circulate a minimum of one hole

volume to condition mud.2. Stop circulation and set Liner Hanger3. Re-establish circulation, staging up, and circulate unitl ready to

start the cement job4. Hold Pre-Job Safety Meeting5. Stop circulation6. Pressure Test lines to 250 / 5500 psi with cement unit7. Bleed-off pressure and line up valves to pump down hole8. Break circulation with rig pump9. Schlumberger to Pump 40 bbl MUDPUSH II Spacer @ 6bpm

Cementing Job Execution Procedure If liner wiper plug release is noted by a pressure increase,

zero the volume counter and displace the Liner volume.

If the plug does not bump after pumping the calculated displacement volume, do not over-displace more than 50%of shoe track volume to avoid getting a wet shoe. Stop pumping, bleed off the drill pipe pressure and confirm floatsare holding and WOC.

Conclusions & Recommendations There were no operational problems with the cement job. In jobs like this, a liner, it is important to have a good control with

pumping pressures and displacement volumes, for this reason is advisable to use a Schlumberger Pump Unit when is possible.

Always, the centralizers helps to achieve a good Stand Off, this implicate to have a good mud removal, hence it is strongly recommendable to follow the centralization program.

It is very important to conditioning the well before the cementing job. This procedure includes to circulate the well at least one hole volume at high rates, this is more than 6 BPM.
