Favorite CharacterMy Favorite character in My Side of the Mountain is the character Frightful. Frightful is Sam’s bird that he catches and tames. Frightful is my favorite character because he is very unusual for a character in a book, and I think falcons are cool in the first place. Frightful in My Side of the Mountain is always Catching food for Sam and he is very helpful. At one point in the story Frightful catches almost all the food Sam needs to survive. Frightful is my favorite character in My Side of the Mountain. Frightful (Falcon)
