the development of web based in structional presentations.

It makes the teachers transform the web as the virtual location of learning references, the medium to publish instructional guidance for learning, and the place to initiate ac tivities for the students to search for knowledge and continuous learning outside the physical classroom

through the Internet.

The students of these trained teachers when they graduate from school are creative and innovative, think critically, good communication and collaborate easily, have good information about media, technology and show global awareness.

“ School from the far flung area uses internet as form of educational enhancements for the

teachers and the students.”, said Leo B. Asilo, newly ETNNHS School Principal.

Techonology empowers the teachers to engage the students to learn inside the internet anytime and in any place.

Education blogs such as in the Wikis paces is a simple gateway to invite students to ward selfdirected learner.

The teacher is provided with simple jumpstarting tools and methodology to integrate to elearning assets of internet in

teaching and learning within the context of DepEd defined learning competency stan dard.

The training tasks include designing an elearning portal for teachers to place his/ her lesssons including instructions, presen tation of the lessons, rubrics and assess ment. This portal will be called as Web board or Flat Classroom of the teacher and students.

It has all the ingredients of what is inside discussion; powerpoint presentation, teacher making dis cussion in a video format, students can assess his/her learning ,submit directly the test and know his/her

score.

Students who have com puters and physically absent in school can easily view the

The Webboard training made the teachers realized that there is more rooms of learning inside the internet.

Each of the education portals of the teachers is served as venue of what is and would be happening inside the class room of the teachers.

lesson of the teacher using internet connec tion, and can schedule for live conference with the teacher too.

Parents and student too can access the grading system of the teacher from a in structor’s database.

Parents are welcome to view the site, and can directly participate in an schedule meeting in the net.

What can the Training make for the students?

One of the school’s source of elearning knowhow.

Importance of the Training

Reading, writing and arithmetic of our forefathers are no longer enough for a child to survive in this computer aged genera tion.

To mean quality, the use of computers with internet are the voice shout of the

many and that will cost ordinary persons additional expense.

Computer with internet connection can bring students in the public schools same as in the private step to the students in the private.

Today’s school leaders face serious dilemma: Communities expect their gradu ates to be ready to thrive in the Digital age, but the 21st century skills required for such success are not welldefined. Those skills are included in many school’s learning standard or to be exact only few schools embraced the use of computers due to its high cost and maintenance.

But the prize of education is not free.

A need to toggle the use of internet in the classroom

The current era of education as the use of computers with internet connection will have a positive impact on students only if we embrace that innovations. We have to make the student think of tomorrows and not of yesterday’s world.

The school’s Webboard is a Webblog . It is synonymous to education on learning online. It is associated with Advanced Learning Technology (ALT), which deals with technologies and associated methodologies in learning using networked/ and or multimedia technologies.

We use tools in the net like Zoho, Youtube, Slideshare, Hot chalk, Google.net, Wikispaces, Thinkfree , Blogger and Friend ster to deliver education anytime , anywhere for the students, parents and communities.

We believe that there is no gap on learning between the public and private schools when it comes to the use of digital education.

We believe that education is for all.
