Introduction
As a Natural Hair Coach, the number one concern I often hear from the Sisters in our natural
weave (which are not bad options for protective styling) because 1) they do not know how to style their hair and 2) they may not have the time to dedicate to creating a style. As a result, the confidence in wearing their natural hair becomes dim. If that is your situation, I want to encourage you.
Hebrews 11:35 states: So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. How do we throw away our confidence? When we get frustrated and grab the wig day after day after day. When we watch a YouTube we want to try, but are too afraid of what others might say of our new style. When we allow what others say bind our creativity and freedom to be the natural that God created us to be! His Word says, do not throw away your confidence; Confidence in the Greek (the original language this text was written in) means: free and fearless confidence, cheerful courage, boldness, assurance! As Natural Sisters and Women of God, we are to have free and fearless confidence, cheerful courage, boldness and assurance!
The second part to that verse gives us a promise when we keep our confidence: it will be richly rewarded! How will that be? Maybe you will inspire a Sister to go natural because she sees you rocking your new do with confidence. Maybe a little girl will see her in you and give you a million dollar smile of confidence. Maybe your significant other will compliment you or you may even receive some favor from the sales clerk that day because you kept your confidence and wore your hair that daycomes from God. When God created you,
I am honored to have my Natural Sister, Diana Ramsey, Founder & Owner of Sisters With Beauty® partner with me to provide this e-‐Book to you. She has been so gracious with her knowledge, tips, style, time, and creativity and has provided most of these styles just for you! I fell in love with her YouTube Channel, and God led me to ask her to join me in this project. From one phone call, we instantly connected, and she has been on board since day one. Please visit her site today and link up with her on Facebook and Twitter. When you create one of these styles, upload them to her site, and you can also put them on my Facebook account here.
essing to you on your natural journey. Hold your head up high and WORK IT! Blessings to you my Natural Sister! You rock!
