The Verb Ir (to go)

• Review and study the conjugation of ir.

¿Adónde vas, Susana? (Where are you going, Susana?)

Voy a la escuela. (I am going to school.)

EXPLANATION: Use ir a to say that you or others are going to a specifi c place. When a is followed by el, it becomes the contraction al. Use the word adónde to ask where someone is going.
