NTT DATA Getronics Corporation was founded in Japan in 1961 as part of the Italian Olivetti Company, known for its typewriters and the world’s fi rst electronic desktop computer. We began as an importer and sales agent for offi ce equip-ment, but have continued to evolve in line with the needs of our customers, transforming into a systems integrator and solutions provider.

Although there have been changes in our name and our parent company, some things about us have remained unchanged for more than 50 years: our customer-centric approach and our practical, hands-on focus. We pride ourselves on deliver-ing value that exceeds customer expectations by taking the initiative in workplace problem-solving with innovative thinking and teamwork. Our corporate message “Sense It. Make wonders.” refl ects this attitude.

Challenges and obstacles we face are seen, from a higher perspective, as neces-sary parts of a larger and better whole and we overcome them by constant self-adaptation through cycles of generating momentum. This is part of our DNA, and I believe this is the underlying reason we have been able to build a relationship of trust with our many customers through the decades.

Rapid progress in information technologies such as big data, artifi cial intelligence and the Internet of Things is affecting society more quickly and on a larger scale, making it diffi cult to see what the future might bring. It is precisely for this reason that we feel our role is to serve as a navigator that delivers assurance to customers.

working closely with our customers in order to support their

CLS operations. Our solution offers various functions for CLS

BOJ-NET, the financial network operated by the Bank of
