FRAMEWORK FOR DEPLOYMENT
uPV support measures:
wFeed-in-tariff system for the 25st years (in 2007) :
l 44,0381 c€/kWh (< 100 kW)
l 22,9764 c€/kWh (> 100 kW)
wDirect capital subsidies: it is easy to find soft loans in private banking, so in Spain direct subsidies for grid connected plants are not necessary.
uNew initiatives
wTechnical Building Code (TBC). Section HE5
18
Technical Building Code (TBC). Section HE5
u Its application is currently obligatory
uSection HE5 of the TBC regulates the incorporation of solar PV energy.
u It establishes the demands to be met by buildings
u It enforces the installation of PV on new large buildings, such as offices, government buildings, hospitals, etc...
uThe minimum capacity required will depend on:
wThe climatic zone
wFloor area
wKind of building use
19
Technical Building Code (TBC). Section HE5
wThe peak capacity P to be installed is:
wP (kWp) = C * (A * S + B)
– C is the defined coefficient for each climatic zone
– A and B are the coefficients defined for each kind of use and
– S is the floor area built in square metres.
wThe limit for the minimum capacity will be 6.25 kWp, and thisvalue shall prevail over the result of this expression.

HIGHLIGHTS AND PROSPECTS
uPlan for Renewable Energy (2005-2010): 363 MW (2010)
u In 2007 new revision of feed in tariff: new RD 667/2007
uDevelopment of the Technical Building Code (TBC)
u Increasing of PV module production capacity in Spain
